Speech by “The Society of Threatened People” at a Rally in Germany
2004-03-21"Over the four years of repression, at least 880 adherents of this spiritual group have died in prisons, labour camps or police stations from torture. One is informed weekly of an increased number of deaths. Torture is a daily ritual in Chinese police stations and prisons. Please believe us that these are not abuses attributable to a few individuals, but a systematic suppression of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party and the country’s leadership. This is no secret, as the country and party’s leadership stressed repeatedly that Falun Gong had to be eliminated." -

Scotland: Personal Meetings with Human Rights Organizations to let them Know the Facts
2004-03-17As practitioners continue to make efforts to tell people about Dafa and the persecution, more people have come to understand the truth. However many people still have an impression of Dafa that appears correct but is actually wrong, whilst some even have misunderstandings. We have sent truth clarifying materials to various human rights organizations in Scotland but overall not much feedback was received. In order to clarify the truth further, Dafa practitioners in Scotland decided to meet various human rights organizations face to face. -

Italian Human Rights Organisation Again Published a Press Release to Declare Support for Falun Gong Practitioners' Human Rights

They came to Paris to attend the Chinese New Year Celebrations staged by the Chinese and French Governments. The arrested people did not protest. They only wore yellow. Two women were arrested while they walked on the Champs Eylsees. When they asked the reason for their arrest the police said: “You are wearing yellow - today yellow is illegal.”" -
Report from the Stockholm International Conference on “Genocide in the New Era”: Preventing Campaigns of Genocide and the Persecution of Falun Gong
2004-02-17"We agreed that the continuing persecution of some hundred million Chinese citizens by the government of the People's Republic of China for their moral beliefs is a most serious manifestation of genocide as defined in Article 2 of the 1948 Genocide Convention and is unacceptable in the world today, prejudices the development of cooperation and trust between nations and warrants further efforts by governments with a view to its termination." -

It is totally unacceptable that the French authorities should allow the same sort of human rights abuse currently taking place in China to be transferred to the streets of one of the largest democracies in the western world." -

A Letter from the Chairperson of the Association for Threatened People – "To file a lawsuit against China’s former leader, Jiang Zemin, is a crucial step in bringing human rights abusers to justice."
2003-12-07"At the moment, it is still not optimistic to expect China to become a country ruled by law. When security members and state agents violate human rights, citizens are not likely to be protected by the law. As a result, people are calling on the international community to bring China’s human rights abusers to justice by taking legal action. The Association for Threatened People, in particular, expresses our support for any legal action to bring the evildoers, including China’s former leader, to court."
