The Falun Gong group entry received a commemorative plaque and a certificate presented by the Lord Mayor of Westminster in recognition and appreciation of their participation in the parade. -
Ukraine: Parade to Condemn the Crimes Committed by Communist Regimes
2006-01-28Enduring temperatures of less than minus 20 degrees, the Kremenchuk citizens held a parade supporting the Council of Europe’s ‘Draft Resolution to Condemn the Communist Party’s Crimes’. The parade also highlighted how over seven million people, the bulk of who are from China, have withdrawn from the Communist Party and its affiliated organisations. -

Irish Practitioners Join a Rally Supporting Six Million Withdrawals from the CCP
2005-12-26An event was held in Dublin city centre on 10th December 2005. The rally aimed to support the 6 million people who have now publicly renounced their membership of the Chinese Communist Party. Some Irish practitioners joined the event to protest against the CCP’s six-year persecution against Falun Gong. -
Germany: Large Scale Falun Gong Parade in Düsseldorf
2005-11-23Falun Gong practitioners from different countries held an enormous parade when President Hu was visiting Düsseldorf. The parade was composed of a drum team, a group of practitioners in white holding photos of those persecuted to death, girls in traditional Chinese costumes and hundreds of banners and picture boards. -
Italy: Letting People Know about Falun Gong during the Assisi Peace Parade
2005-10-20To let people know about the persecution against Falun Gong in China, practitioners from Milan, Rome and Florence set up a stall on the the parade route. They displayed poster information boards and demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. There were many people who stopped to chat with practitioners and read the information boards. -

This year was the fourth time Falun Gong practitioners have participated in the parade and also the fourth time that they have won the community category award for their parade performance. -
United Kingdom: Falun Gong Group Won a Prize in the Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade
2005-08-14The 7th of August 2005 was the day of the 59th International Edinburgh Arts Festival in Scotland. Falun Gong practitioners once again attended the festival cavalcade and were awarded the best Specialty Prize. This is the fourth time that the Falun Gong group has received this prize since they started to participate three years ago. -
The Call of People in Europe: Saluting a New China Without the Rule of the CCP
2005-07-26Local people who were warm-hearted had made many colourful, big banners and slogans such as “Support the Million People who have Withdrawn from the CCP”, “Saluting a New China Without the Rule of the CCP” and “It is High Time We said Goodbye to the CCP”. The parade was about two hundred metres long and was very eye-catching. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in the Frankfurt Multi-cultural Parade
2005-07-09On June the 25th, several thousand Frankfurt people watched the Frankfurt parade under the blazing sunlight. German Falun Gong practitioners wore traditional Chinese costumes and participated in the parade. On the route of the parade, they came across several tourist groups from China who wanted to pose for pictures with the practitioners and take some Falun Gong leaflets. -
Sweden: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution During the Carnival in Hammarkullen
2005-06-20Falun Gong practitioners participated in the annual carnival in Hammarkullen, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors. The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed leaflets, informing people about Falun Gong cultivation practice and the persecution practitioners in China are suffering at the hands of the Communist Party. -
Germany: Excellent Performances at the Bielefeld Cultural Festival
2005-06-10Germany’s Ninth Bielefeld Cultural Festival was held and around 1,500 people from seventy organisations participated in a parade. Many people clapped along with the beat of the waist drum performance. Practitioners’ peaceful and graceful demonstration of the five sets of exercises on a float was the target of the crowd’s cameras.
