    The 2009/2010 International Culture & Leisure Fair in Holland made its debut in the Atrium at The Hague, on September 20, 2009. The event was hosted by The Hague Council. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate.
  • United Kingdom: People Learn about Falun Gong and the Persecution at St. Martin's Place

    September 12, 2009 was a Saturday, so Falun Gong practitioners once again went to St. Martin's Place in the centre of London to hold an activity, hand out leaflets about the goodness of Falun Dafa and exposing the CCP's brutal persecution. Many people condemned the CCP's brutality, and supported Falun Gong's opposition to the persecution.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Warmly Welcomed at Lunen's Anniversary Celebration

    From September 9 to 13, 2009, Lunen, a small northern town in Nodrhein-Westfalen, Germany, celebrated its 30th anniversary. The anniversary celebration drew around 100,000 people from the town and surrounding cities. This was the fourth time that practitioners from the nearby city of Dortmund took part in the festival to introduce Falun Gong to the people there.
  • Sweden: Rally Condemns Communist Regime Atrocities, Supports 60 Million Who Have Withdrawn from the Part

    On September 26, Sweden's Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Service Centre organised a rally at Mynttorget Square to condemn the Communist regime's atrocities and support over 60 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organisations. The persecution of Falun Gong was highlighted.
  • Germany: People Learn about Falun Gong During Oktoberfest

    On September 20, 2009, the annual Oktoberfest began in Munich. At the famous Marlin Square, Falun Dafa practitioners from Bayern Province hosted an information day to introduce Falun Dafa, demonstrate the exercises, and expose the persecution. People asked many questions, from what Falun Gong is, why and how Chinese Communist Party persecutes Falun Gong, to how Chinese people work to stop the persecution.

    On Saturday, September 19, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from West Yorkshire in the UK went to the busy Leeds city centre to expose the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China, and at the same time, offer help to Chinese people who wanted to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations.

    Upon seeing Shen Yun Performing Arts for the first time as it graced the stage at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva, Switzerland, many audience members shared that they were deeply moved by the performances. Mr. Labarthe, a theologian, said he was inspired. "It was wonderful and perfect, very substantial," he said. "The message was very important."

    September 20, 2009 is World Children's Day in Germany. On September 19, Falun Gong practitioners held an information day on Kropke Square in Hannover. The theme of the activity was "World Children's Day, Pay Attention to Falun Gong Orphans in China". Dortmund football fans came to the information desk to read posters and sign the petition in support of Falun Gong.

    By noontime the streets were milling with people who were curious to see what was displayed in each stand. Among those who came to the festival, many had the opportunity to see the stall about Falun Gong. They saw the gentle exercises, and were very interested to come to the free weekly session held in the local gardens.

The music, the singers, and, of course, the dancing. The expressiveness – how feelings are expressed through dance. I am very sensitive to that," Ms. Milenkovich said. "And to the energy, such energy."

    On September 20, 2009, the annual Skive Lobet was held in Slive, which is in Jutland in northwest Denmark. Several thousand people took part in the many different programmes. Denmark Falun Gong practitioners came to introduce people to Falun Gong. The sun shone as practitioners demonstrated the five exercises to music.

    On October 1st, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Munich, Germany held a peaceful protest against the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution in front of the Chinese Consulate. They raised banners reading, "Falun Dafa" and exposed the CCP's organ harvesting crimes against Falun Gong practitioners. Their protest was supported by the German people.
  • Geneva Audiences Enthusiastically Welcome the Return of Shen Yun Performing Arts: "Magnificent and Exceptional!"

    Shen Yun Performing Arts made its 2009 début to Europe in the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva on Tuesday September 29. Mr. Claude Proz, the manager of the theatre which has been hosting the New York-based Shen Yun for the past three years, said he would be glad to welcome Shen Yun every year. "It's magnificent, it's a spectacle, and I'm delighted it's coming back and I'll be delighted that's it's showing tomorrow and after tomorrow. I thought it was exceptional!"
  • Geneva Audiences Praise Shen Yun's Presentation of China's Ancient Culture

    Shen Yun Performing Arts dazzled and astounded Geneva audiences three nights in a row at the Théâtre du Léman last week. Mr. Labadi, a real estate agent, praised Shen Yun for its presentation of China's rich and ancient culture. "I find that we don't talk enough about China's past. In the West we see the Egyptian past, we see the Roman past, and we know the modern China, but we don't know the past of China," he said.
