  • Belgium: Raising Awareness about the 50 Million Withdrawals from the CCP

    On March 21st, 2009, in Brussels' Chinatown, the Belgian 'Quit the CCP organisation' held an activity to spread the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”, as well as support the 50 million Chinese people who have quit the CCP and its’ affiliated organisations.
  • Slovakia: Remembering April 25th 1999

    In Bratislava a group of practitioners gathered on SNP Square to remember the events that took place in Beijing on April 25th,1999, when 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealed for justice. Many people read practitioners' banners and wondered how such a persecution can take place nowadays. Many asked for the reason and after our explanation they mostly came to sign our petition. One lady signing the petition noted, "I sign this petition each year. I hope there will be a change soon...“
  • Finland: "You must be good people"

    Falun Gong practitioners in Finland came to the square on the north side of Helsinki Central Train Station for an event to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution in China. Practitioners set up displays, distributed leaflets to passers-by, and raised awareness about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners.
  • France: People in Bordeaux Welcome Falun Gong

    Falun Gong practitioners participated the ‘Nature and Green Products’ exhibition in Bordeaux, which attracted many visitors. Practitioners' site received a great deal of attention and many appreciated the demonstration of Falun Gong exercises. Several people expressed their wish to learn Falun Gong.
  • Finland: People in Finland Support Falun Gong after Hearing the Fact

    On April 4th 2009, some Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an activity in near Kampi Shopping Centre in Helsinki City Centre. They raised awareness about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s brutal suppression of Falun Gong and called on Finnish people to help stop the persecution. Practitioners distributed leaflets and collected signatures condemning the persecution.
  • Slovakia: Theater-Goers Support Petition against Persecution of Falun Gong

    On April 18th in Bratislava, practitioners held an activity calling for attention to human rights violations in China, especially to the persecution of Falun Gong. The activity took place near, where Beijing opera was being performed, so many of the theater-goers had the opportunity to learn about Falun Gong and sign the petition against its persecution in China.
  • Hungary: Activities Raise Persecution Awareness

    On April 11th, 2009, practitioners gathered in Budapest for activities in front of the Chinese Embassy and in the downtown area to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, and to appeal for an end to the persecution. The demonstration attracted many people to read practitioners' information posters and take photos.
  • France: Call for Justice from Human Right Square in Paris

    On March 14th, 2009, many Falun Gong practitioners, local people and tourists from all over the world, gathered in Paris’s Human Rights Square to raise awareness of the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong. In addition they celebrated the 51 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations.
  • Sweden: Health Exhibition in Skovde

    Skovde city holds a health exhibition every year. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend this year's exhibition from April 4th-5th and became the bright focus of visitors there. People came to the Falun Gong practitioners' exhibition table in an endless stream and many stopped to watch the exercise demonstration, take materials, and talk with practitioners.
  • Switzerland: Falun Gong Practitioners Attended Lausanne Health Exhibition

    From March 26th to 29th, 2009, the biggest natural medicine, health protection exhibition in Switzerland was held in Lausanne. Falun Gong practitioners from Geneva and Lausanne attended this exhibition. The practitioners' exhibition booth enabled more people to understand the story of Falun Gong.
  • Finland: "Let more Finnish People Know the Truth"

    On March 28th, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an activity at the train station in Helsinki city centre, protesting the Chinese Communist regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong and appealing to the general public to help Falun Gong practitioners who are still being illegally detained in China.
  • Three Packed Performances in Poland

    On Saturday, March 28th, 2009, the New York-based Divine Performing Arts group (DPA or Shen Yun) staged two performances in Wroclaw, Poland. Everyone was deeply moved by the pure kindness and pure beauty of Shen Yun’s art. Similar to the first two performances, the Saturday night show was all sold out.
  • Ireland: Assembly Supporting Fifty-one Million People Quitting CCP

    On March 14th, an assembly to support the fifty-one million people who have quit the CCP was held in Dublin. The Irish Youth Labour Party Chairman, Brian O’Connor, the Youth Green Party Chairman, Barra Routree and others came to support and give speeches.
  • Russia: Art Exhibition in Novorossiysk

    On February 27th, 2008, an art exhibition entitled "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance – Art Inspired by Gods" was officially opened in one of the largest rooms in the Novorossiysk Historical Museum. On the third day of the exhibition people talked about it in trolleybuses – this news spread all over the city.
  • Exposing the Chinese Communist Party's Persecution of Falun Gong During the United Nations Human Rights Council

    The tenth regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is held this month in Geneva. The Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group invited Falun Gong practitioners who had suffered from the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution to expose the brutal persecution to government officials and human rights organizations during the session.
