Paintings as Windows into Another World
2001-09-16Landscape scenes, mountains enshrouded in clouds, craggy cliffs from which rise weather-beaten pine trees, delicate flower and bird paintings, motifs of bamboo, chrysanthemums or plum blossoms, elegant pagodas and tiny human figures which seem to lose themselves in the natural surroundings are the main themes, next to aesthetically dancing women and certain animals in these rich nuances of traditional ink paintings by Cui-Ying Zhang who now lives in Australia. -
SOS Rescue Mission Receives Support from Latvia
2001-09-16On Wednesday, September 12th, Falun Gong practitioners met with the Latvian Foreign Policy Advisor to the State President. The practitioners found him to be a man of integrity, and totally sympathetic to our SOS rescue mission. He assured the practitioners that the State President is firmly committed to human rights and that, in fact, she had just returned from the human rights meeting in Durban, South Africa. -

Ukraine: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in an Appeal to China to End Human Rights Violations
-On June 6th, 2004, Amnesty International took part in activities appealing to China to stop the persecution against human rights at the Ukrainian Chinese Embassy in order to mark the June 4th Incident of fifteen years ago. People from various human rights groups participated in the campaign in which the Kiev Falun Gong Association of Ukraine was invited to join. -
Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally to Condemn the Jiang Regime's Terrorist Act of Hiring Thugs to Shoot Practitioners
