The UK Falun Dafa Association received a letter of support from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) on January 23, 2026, in response to threats targeting Shen Yun Performing Arts’ 2026 UK tour. The threats appear to originate from Chinese Communist Party (CCP) operatives, and are attempts to sow disinformation and stop Shen Yun from performing in the United Kingdom.

January 27, practitioners in Finland braved minus 10-degree weather to hold a candlelight vigil to tell people the facts about the 27-year-long persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. They informed passersby that this campaign has led to many practitioners being brutally tortured, injured, disabled, and even losing their lives. They let people know about the regime’s ongoing crime of organ harvesting, a crime that has involved many levels of society.

When talking about the painting with an elderly woman holding her son, Sublime noticed her hands: “Her hands are painted with delicate details; you can tell at a glance that she does hard labor every day. The painting brings to live the indomitable spirit in her eyes and the hardships she experienced.”
Allegra especially enjoyed the paintings that showed various realms and dimensions. “These paintings are amazing, and make people want to learn more about the significance behind them,” she said.

The paintings showed that while facing the CCP’s brutal persecution, practitioners remain steadfast in Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Marie said the message she saw in the paintings was, “The world needs peace, love and courage.” She said although some works were about death, the spiritual power was strong.
