My son is ten years old. He was a premature baby and was born three months earlier than the due date. I was admitted to the hospital more than two weeks before his birth. He weighed only about 4 lbs when he was born. The doctor told me it would be hard for him to survive, and even if he did survive, he would have cerebral palsy. Even my mother-in-law suggested I abort the child, but I didn't listen to them.

I have been practising Falun Gong for more than ten years, and would like to share the miraculous and joyful experiences I've had in cultivating Falun Dafa.

I was shocked that I was feeling well and thought that this practice was really incredible. In less than a month, all of my illnesses were gone. Consequently, my wife, my parents, and my sister's family also began to practise Falun Gong. My wife's uterine tumour; my mother's pulmonary heart disease, rheumatism, headaches, and abdominal pain; my father's atherosclerosis and gout; and my sister's family member's hepatitis B all disappeared.

Since 1996, when I began my Dafa cultivation, I have not consumed any medicine or alcohol, nor have I spent money on those two items. According to my calculations, I have saved the local government nearly two hundred thousand yuan in medical expenses. I am free from the torments of the illnesses. If Dafa had not saved me, how would I have been able to live this long?

Soon a few miracles happened. One day after the group exercise, I felt very light and agile. Back when I had chemotherapy, my body felt heavy, as though it had been filled with lead. I used to feel lethargic and muddle-headed, but now I felt clear-minded and energetic. I was filled with joy. I knew I would be able to look after myself from then on.

I'm a 62-year-old practitioner who started to practise Falun Gong in May 1996. I would like to share my story. From my story, you will understand the benefits of practising Falun Dafa and that it is a true science. My first story relates how all my illnesses disappeared in one day.

I am 35 years old and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The doctor said that the malignant cells had spread and I only had few months to live. I could not accept the bad news, mentally or physically. I felt helpless watching my family feel sorry for me and thinking about my two young children. I spent a large sum of money and experienced a lot of pain undergoing chemotherapy. I had no desire to live and was merely waiting for the final moments.

At the time of writing about this experience on March 14, my diabetes has disappeared, I have regained around 20 pounds, and my blood pressure is stable. I can even walk 300-400 metres without feeling tired. One of my doctors was amazed to see such an incredible transformation and said to me, "If that is the case, you should read [Zhuan Falun] more."

After practising Falun Dafa, my body continuously changed. The change of my psoriasis was the most distinct. When I travelled on business two weeks ago, I kept on scratching in the evening. But after I returned home, I found that my whole skin was bright without any psoriasis. I was so excited that I jumped up on the bed, shouting "my psoriasis is gone!" This recurring illness had troubled me for 33 years.

I learned about Falun Dafa in 1996. Back then I was a chain smoker. Smoking was the first thing I did after I woke up. I could live without food but not cigarettes, and my health deteriorated. Because of my chain smoking, I had inflammation in my trachea and asthma. I still smoked while I was treated for my smoking related illnesses.

In order to heal my illness, I went to western doctors, had surgeries, tried Chinese medicine with various ingredients, and five different kinds of qigong. The medical expenses put me in so much debt that I had to borrow money from friends and family. I was exhausted both physically and mentally. In April 1998, my uncle introduced Falun Gong to me.

I had heard about Falun Dafa as early as summer 1997. Many people knew about Dafa's miraculous nature and Master Li's benevolence, and I also wanted to practise Falun Dafa.

We did the exercises in the morning and studied the teachings in the evening. I gradually understood many principles and felt that Teacher was always around to guide me. My psoriasis gradually disappeared along with my other illnesses, and I threw away all my medications. I always had bad dreams when I slept at night, but these stopped as well and now I'm not afraid of anything. I have never been this happy, and consider myself the most fortunate person in the world.

My wife had suffered heart disease for five to six years. She tried Chinese medicine and all kinds of healing methods but nothing helped. Sometimes her condition would be better for a week, but soon after she would fall ill again. When her illness worsened, she had an irregular heartbeat. At night, she was too uncomfortable to sleep. During that period of time, we were both in our thirties. When we heard that the lady had her heart condition healed by learning Falun Gong, we were full of hope.

One day in early 1999, Ms. Li in our village came to visit me. She had suffered a stroke and had been bed ridden for a dozen years. I was so surprised that she could come. I saw she had a book in her hand. She told me, "I am practising Falun Gong now. It feels so good! You should read this book, Zhuan Falun, first. After you understand it, we can do the exercises together. As long as you are serious, there will be results!"

My wife and I began practising Falun Gong in early 1996. My wife was five months pregnant in July 1999, when the Chinese communist regime launched the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. The persecution was very severe everywhere in China at that time. On July 20, my wife went to the provincial government to appeal for Falun Gong. As a result, she was detained in the stadium. Due to stress the baby's foetal position dropped lower.

I began practising Falun Gong in June 1997. I am now 67 years old and have hardly any wrinkles on my face. I am very energetic and healthy, and my life is calm and full of joy. Others say that they cannot tell my age at all. I have deeply felt the magnificence and beauty of Falun Dafa and Teacher's enormous compassion through my own experiences.

I'm from Chenzhou, Hunan Province. I'm forty-one years old now, but people tell me I look much younger. Most people who don't know me very well even think that I'm unmarried and have no children. The reason for this is because I have few wrinkles, if any, on my face, my skin is very smooth and elastic, and my body is well proportioned, light and flexible.

One day in June 1996, my life took a turn. On that day, my mother went to morning exercises and brought back a copy of the book Falun Gong. I picked it up when my mother wasn't reading it. I was instantly drawn by it and finished reading it in one day. I couldn't explain it but just felt that this book was very wonderful. Hence I started to practise.

Since I began to practise Falun Dafa, many wonderful things have happened to me. I had many different illnesses before and I suffered for a long time. I had tried other qigong practices, but they did not help me. After I began practising Falun Gong, my illnesses disappeared without a trace.

I developed rheumatoid arthritis a year ago. All of my body joints hurt too much to bear. I looked everywhere for doctors and tried all kinds of medicines. I was examined by both western doctors and Chinese doctors. I also tried all sorts of home remedies. But there was no effect. And, the lining in my two knee joints was gone. My legs were like sticks and could not bend.

I was 56 in 1999 and had practised Falun Gong for three years. My rosy face always glowed with a heartfelt smile. I worked as quickly and conscientiously as a young person, while comments were frequent that I looked only in my 40's.

I am resident of Xinjin County, Sichuan Province. I am 77 years old. I climb up and down stairs effortlessly. I do not feel tired when I walk around to expose the persecution with fellow practitioners, even if we walk for over three miles. I have a rosy complexion and many fewer wrinkles than before. I am happy and relaxed. Everyone who hears how old I am is surprised, and elderly friends are envious of me.

After practising Falun Dafa for fourteen years now, I feel that I have grown into a true disciple, a being belonging to the new universe. Looking back, I can see that Teacher had rescued me from hell. During these years ten years of Fa-rectification cultivation, not only has my cultivation reached a certain realm, but Dafa has blessed my family, too. My relatives are happy and in good health, grateful for Teacher's kindness and Dafa's benevolence.

In the autumn of 1998, my family members obtained the main book of Falun Dafa practice, Zhuan Falun, from a doctor. After I finished reading the preface, I was immediately attracted by the profound teachings of the Fa that I hadn't found in any other books. I kept reading and felt very comfortable and peaceful. In this book I found answers to all my questions about life and death. The book Zhuan Falun lit a lamp in my confused heart and brought hope to my life.

One day in November of 1996, one of my friends introduced me to Falun Gong. After I discovered that learning and practising Falun Gong does not cost any money, I immediately made up my mind to practise it. That was the happiest day of my life. From then on, I joined a group of other practitioners at the local exercise site to study the Fa and do the exercises.

Christy used to suffer from cystic ovarian disease, but shortly after she began to practise Falun Gong, she became pregnant. Her daughter is now five years old and she has a very harmonious family life. Just thirty-four years old, Christy was born in the United Kingdom. After getting married in 2003, she moved to Australia. She is beautiful and cheerful. One can hardly imagine that she used to suffer from depression.

I began to practise Falun Gong in 1996 due to health problems such as heart disease, stomach pain, sciatica, and allergies. Before that, I had to take medications all year long. I kept emergency heart medicine on hand all the time and did not expect to live beyond my 30's. I had a short temper and had no confidence in life.

I turned 35 this year. Before I began practising Falun Gong I was diagnosed with cancer that had already metastasised, and I was given only a few months to live. I went to see doctors in Jinan and Beijing but they all said the same thing. I could not accept this diagnosis, in body or spirit. My suffering could not alleviate the pain my relatives suffered on my behalf, or help my two young children.

I am from Jiangsu, China and I have practised Falun Gong for 13 years. I have told people the facts and encountered persecution by the Chinese Communist Party, been through all kinds of gruelling difficulties, and swallowed a lot of hardship. To this day I am still a determined cultivator of Falun Dafa; I firmly believe that Falun Dafa is good. How is it that in such an oppressive environment I am able to remain so firm? Please read my detailed account.

I felt like a seedling getting the first rain after a long drought. It has now been 15 years since I joined in the mighty current of Falun Dafa cultivation. Looking back, a lot of feelings come up; there were many times that I was so grateful that I was in tears. Without the merciful protection from Teacher, I would not have been able to come to be what I am today.

My sisters brought me a copy of the book Zhuan Falun, and often studied the book with me. They also taught me the Falun Gong exercises. When I ran into problems, they helped me understand the meaning. They also brought me materials containing important facts about Falun Gong. I have since been practising Falun Gong. As I became increasingly healthy, I developed a positive attitude towards life, and I decided to keep practising Falun Gong.

One month after I began to cultivate in Falun Dafa, all my illnesses went away and I was healthy again. My office was on the eighth floor and I could run to my office from downstairs. From then on I never saw a doctor or took a pill again and totally enjoyed my good health. My family became happy as well. I strictly required myself to follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and no longer was I concerned about personal gain.

The next morning, I woke up feeling rather happy and was more energetic. After the doctors' morning rounds, I read the book myself. The more I read, the more I was impressed with the book. The principles were so well-written! Then, I kept reading until I finished. The book was Zhuan Falun written by Teacher Li Hongzhi. This is in my mind a treasured book that teaches people to be good, and then even better according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

One month later he mailed me the books of the practice, the introductory book Falun Gong and the main text of Falun Dafa practice Zhuan Falun. I read the books and found answers to questions I'd long had about life, the universe, space and much more. I came to understand the root cause of illness, why we have troubles in our lives, and how to deal with and overcome the difficulties we encounter.

One morning in October 1995, I went to a Falun Gong exercise site. Instructed by a volunteer, I did the exercise movements one time and immediately felt warm inside. I was so surprised. I borrowed the book Zhuan Falun [the main text of Falun Dafa practice] and finished it in a day. I was very excited after I read the book. It answered my questions from so many years.

Shortly after they married, his wife died of leukaemia, which she had been diagnosed with while she was pregnant. She depended on blood transfusions to survive until she had the baby, which they named Fuda. The husband became mentally and physically exhausted after his wife died. Several years later, he learned about Falun Gong and began to practise. He got rid of all his bad habits, and was full of confidence in life again.

In 2008 our son renovated his house and lived on the first floor. The yard out front contained many rocks. My 68-year-old husband hoisted the rocks from a three-foot deep pit and filled a truck with them. The neighbuor said, "This old man is very capable and is in very good health." I said, "He got cirrhosis in 1996." "How did he recover from it?" "By practising Falun Gong." "Really?" "You can see with your own eyes, he is right in front of you."

The following three days, I was very busy at work so I did not get to ask her about her condition. On the third night, just after I left work, I got a call from her telling me that the pain was gone. She told me that she could now stand and walk as before and that she felt even better than before. The she told me her story.

One month after I began to cultivate in Falun Dafa, all my illnesses went away and I was healthy again. My office was on the eighth floor and I could run to my office from downstairs. From then on I never saw a doctor or took a pill again and totally enjoyed my good health. My family became happy as well.

Before I started to cultivate I suffered from many different diseases, such as serious rheumatoid arthritis which made my legs rigid and very painful. I was also suffering from a pain and pressure in my chest and thyroid gland hyperplasia, all of which miraculously disappeared once I started the practice. Seeing all the great changes in both my mind and body I was determined to carry on practising.

I practised the Falun Gong exercises every day. Not long afterwards, my health completely recovered. My hair grew back, and I was in full spirits again. For the first time in my life, I fully appreciated what it was like to live without sickness. I was able to help manage a small food stall for the family. After I left Tongzhi Hospital, the doctors tried to track me down to continue my therapy. But when they discovered that I had recovered completely by practising Falun Gong at home, they found it "inconceivable".

A relative of mine in his 40s used to have many bad habits. He was a hooligan in the village. He bullied and terrorized villagers and even cursed and beat up his parents. He drifted through life, doing nothing but eating, drinking, gambling, and leading a life of debauchery. I brought him the Falun Gong books and materials that explained how the Chinese Communist Party are persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He actually started to read them quietly. Evidently he understood what he read because he purged himself of all of his bad habits. He even quit drinking and smoking. He is now a changed man.
