The practitioner told him with a smile: "I can help you to make the announcement to quit if you agree. We absolutely don't need it's approval. What the CCP says does not count. Let me give you a name. How about we use this name to quit the CCP?" He immediately agreed and was very happy. He said he wholeheartedly agreed.

Having to deal with my son's alcoholism, I gradually developed many illnesses. I had a low appetite, and suffered from heart disease, insomnia, loss of hearing, and cataracts. I thought about suicide many times.
A relative visited me and told me about Falun Dafa. Because I am illiterate, he gave me Teacher Li's lectures on CD. I listened to them repeatedly. Soon after, my mood and hearing improved and I no longer felt distressed.

I have continuously practiced the exercises for years and while practicing, I feel great. After finishing the exercises, I feel light and energetic. Before, I was tired all the time but now I am energetic even when I don't take a nap. Although I am already sixty years old, I feel younger than before I started the practice.

In her view, we don't need to think about who or what is right or wrong. Since the government prohibited it, we must stay in line with the government thinking. Protecting ourselves is most important. It doesn't allow us to practice, so we stop practicing. It is such simple logic, but I did not do what she hoped I would.

I felt so tired afterwards that I had to rest for two days. But now, I am very energetic and never have the feeling of being tired. At present, I repair bicycles on the street for a living. I study the Fa and do the exercises once in the morning and once at night. Some nights, I only sleep for three hours yet I don't feel tired no matter how busy I am during the day.

"When I finished reading Zhuan Falun once, Master's teaching of "Returning to one's original true self" left a very deep impression on me, people raising oneself in compliance with "Zhen, Shan, Ren" (Truth-Compassion-Forbearance), and in the end returning to the origin of one's life - this was the meaning of life that I had been searching for before but had not found.

He was very sad and said, "I want to quit my medications. Seems I am doomed to die." Several of us recommended that he start practicing Falun Gong. We told him that my mother, a practitioner, could teach him. We also asked him to recite the words, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good."

More than two months passed. On the 18th of June (lunar calendar), I felt the pain disappear. I was surprised but I also knew that Master was starting to take care of me because I read the book. This is the manifestation of a miracle and the extraordinariness of Falun Gong. After the pain subsided, I was able to eat more. Eventually I completely recovered. Since then, I truly believed in Falun Dafa.

From the annual cultivation experience sharing conferences in Taiwan, we can see that similar to mainland China, Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan come from all walks of life and diverse professions. There are government officials, university professors, doctors, workers, farmers, students, military personnel, retirees and children. Indeed, Falun Gong has become a popular cultivation practice in Taiwan society.

n the beginning, I shook all over my body after I finished practising the fifth exercise. But I did not flinch. I believed in Dafa and I would do what Master taught me in the book. I was bearing the pain silently. Two to three months later, the miracle occurred. All my chronic, decade-old illnesses disappeared. I knew this was the inevitable result of my steadfast faith in Dafa and Master. I felt very grateful for Master giving me a new life. I felt I had bathed in the goodness and compassion of the Buddha light.

Soon after I started to practice, the most significant feeling was that my body felt light, as did my feet. It was just like what was said in Zhuan Falun. Not only did my whole body become very light, I also became very energetic, so that I didn't feel tired at all after having worked hard all day, which was totally different than I felt before.

One day, after the first three months and 17 days of practising Falun Gong, she was able to cross her legs in the lotus posture. "I remember that moment, I felt as if there was an earthquake inside my body. All my pores were open, and my whole body was sweating. My head seemed to crack open. I had a mixture of feelings. The longer I sat, the more comfortable I felt." The next day, the flu-like symptoms were gone.

Because of this, she had the thought that she wanted to read more about Falun Dafa. A few days later, the practitioner obtained a copy of Zhuan Falun for her. The teacher was extremely happy and also agreed to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.

I followed the movements slowly at first because neither my hands and feet were flexible. After one week, I felt relaxed and I could move my hands. After one month, I experienced body purification, feeling like I had a cold, suffering from diarrhoea, vomiting blood and other symptoms one after another. I felt much better after that.

What appears to have scared Jiang and other Party hardliners (some who are still in top posts, maintaining the campaign) was how popular and cross-social strata Falun Gong had become. In northern cities, workers practised Falun Gong together in factory yards before heading to the machines. Professors and students meditated on Tsinghua University lawns. Party leaders' wives and senior cadres had their own little group in central Beijing.

Although the CCP was forced to unblock a few foreign-based websites under international pressure, many websites run by overseas Chinese remain blocked, particularly Falun Gong-related websites. This is another manifestation of the CCP's fear of the truth about the persecution being exposed and its hostility towards Chinese citizens.

Falun Gong practitioners were not allowed to leave their homes, and if they had to, they were "accompanied" by several people assigned to monitor them. Some practitioners were even monitored before the torch arrived, and were detained in an "office" by the CCP personnel who told them clearly that they would be allowed to go home only after the "Olympic torch" relay was over. Some even went so far as to group-detain practitioners in the Party School in the northern suburbs of Kaifeng City.

Canadian newspaper Calgary Herald published a letter from reader Sanat. K. Das on August 13, 2008. He said that he found it hard to appreciate the Olympic Games this year because in his mind there were always scenes of Falun Gong practitioners having their organs harvested and innocent people being tortured and killed.

In 2003, one of her relatives who is a practitioner told her the truth about Falun Gong. She very much believed what she was told and sympathized with the Dafa disciples, who were being tragically persecuted. She was glad to accept the truth and sincerely recited, "Falun Gong is good," and "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are good."

I started by silently reciting, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance is good." After two days passed my upper respiratory tract started feeling loose, and it was much easier to breathe. I told my mother about this when I returned to her home and she said happily, "You have a pre-destined relationship with Dafa. You have benefited from Dafa, and should continue practising!"

When the cashier saw me, she was very surprised, and said "Who carried you here? " "I came here myself," I said. "Weren't you paralysed? How could you come here?" she asked. "I started to practice Falun Gong and now my illnesses are gone." "Really? If it is so good, I will also start to practice." Thus, the cashier started to practice and many of her illnesses that bothered her for a long time went away, and she became healthier and healthier.

After I finished the second reading of Zhuan Falun, I no longer got sleepy, and could read two to three lectures with concentration. My mental condition greatly changed, my body was light and vigorous, and my kidney disease miraculously disappeared. My appetite became so good that I was able to end many years of special diets. I could now eat the same food as my family, whether it was salty or spicy. The 20-year-long constipation caused by kidney disease was cured three months after I began the practice, without medicine or needles.

Originally, she usually had a recurrence of erysipelas in the summer, but not that summer. Her relative told her withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Youth League cured her. In the beginning, she did not believe withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Youth League, which she joined several dozens of years ago, could cure her illness. But now, a second summer has passed, and she has still not had a recurrence of erysipelas.

She went to a barbecue restaurant and found a copy of truth clarification material on the table. She withdrew from the CCP following the instructions stated on the brochure. Before she left, she chatted with the owner for a little while. She said, "This material is really good. Be sure to keep it safe." To her surprise, the owner said, "This was left here by the police." It turns out the police already know the truth.

When practitioners told him about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its subordinate organizations, he said immediately, "My whole family will withdraw. My wife is a CCP member, and my son and I are both members of the Communist Youth League. I have long known the CCP is evil. Please do help me quit." Several years later, his son completely recovered from leukaemia and resumed his schooling.

Shocked by the stories told by the practitioners, Beijing TV officials acknowledged that its previous negative program on Falun Gong was the biggest mistake the station had ever made since it was established. Beijing TV officials later broadcast another TV program with a Falun Gong practitioner's interview to correct the mistake. The producer of the previous program was dismissed. The incident was thus peacefully settled down and the regime's plot failed.

While listening to his story and reading his appeal letter, I thought to myself, "I must save him." We arranged to meet a few more times afterwards, and each time I clarified the truth to him. Once I recited Lunyu to him and he was shocked! Soon he found a copy of Zhuan Falun while collecting used books. From then on, he began studying the Fa. Every time he finished reading the book all the way through, he made a mark on the wall.

"I had a tingle in my spine that was saying something was happening back there. Tonight, it finished - it has healed."

"It was a sensation of going upwards. It was building like a snowfall inside of me. This energy - it was very friendly. It was very overwhelming as well, but it got bigger and bigger and bigger, until finally, at the end of the show, I thought I was going to kind of jump for joy or burst out of my bubble. It was very exhilarating," said Helland.

From then on, I recited numerous times every day, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." A miracle happened. A month later, all my illnesses were gone. The lumps in my breast disappeared, the pain in my stomach was gone, and my esophagus became smooth again. It was a very happy occasion for me as I had been so close to dying. I quickly called my family and told my parents, brothers, sisters, and in-laws about what had happened.

In China in recent months, there has been discussion on the web about a new term, to be "suicided." To be "suicided" means someone's death is officially announced as suicide, but the real reason of death remains questionable. For example, someone may think that a person committed suicide, but others may think he was murdered or killed in an "accident." People in power in China can label executions and the like as suicide, should it suit their political motives to do so. People who know the truth might refer to the victims of this as having been "suicided."

The regime wants to use the Olympic Games to enhance its own image, as well as to justify its suppression of Falun Gong in the eyes of the international community. However, its blatant and harsh suppression of freedom of belief, freedom of speech and freedom of assembly is so obvious that it can only lead to the regime exposing its true evil intentions to the world. Then what will they do?

The impact of the Commentaries has been particularly visible. Take for instance the call put forth more recently by Gao Zhisheng, a Christian and one of China's most prominent attorneys. "As for how to bring about non violent change, I would say that the Falun Gong have succeeded at finding a means to change that will not lead to the shedding of one drop of blood. That approach is, to persuade people to quit the wicked Party -- a party that has done every form of evil imaginable in this world. My suggestion is to quit the Party and be closer to God!"

1. China's Olympic Committee President was found liable for torture

In 2004, a U.S. federal court found that Liu Qi, the man heading Beijing's Olympic Organizing Committee, was responsible for the torture of Falun Gong adherents during his tenure as Beijing's mayor from 1999 to 2002.

We hope that Eutelsat will not abandon its principles regarding ethics and conscience for short-term interests. If Eutelsat officials are ignorant of the CCP's evildoings, they should read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party; if they are unaware of the frightening consequences of colluding with the evildoing CCP, then they need to take a look at the policies the big powers had adopted toward World War II's Nazi Germany.

"I told this to all of my friends and family. Some said, 'Your mother is cured. You know the reason in your heart. But you don't have to risk telling everyone about it.' I said, 'I could never be that insensible. Falun Dafa saved her life. I would not be human if I dared not even speak the truth. I will also follow the principle of "Zhen-Shan-Ren" as required by Falun Dafa.'"

In 1997, my aunt came to my house and saw that my mother looked very worried and showed no desire to continue living. She told my mother how good Falun Gong was, which I did not believe. My aunt said, "Don't be so sceptical. Why don't you take a closer look and ask around yourself."

These stories prove that cultivation in the Buddha school offers salvation to all beings. In fact, throughout the history of China and other countries, Bodhisattva Guan Yin's saving people from suffering in person is not unique. In western religions, there are also recorded instances of disciples receiving responses from their prayers to God, Jesus or St. Mary and thus avoiding dangers.

The CCP's view of human life is "politics first." Because of the influence from atheistic ideas, the CCP does not treasure life. "Kill 200,000, trade for 20 years of stability" is a CCP motto. It does not take the common man's life seriously. After the earthquake, the CCP made up stories to conceal evidence of their knowledge about the imminent Earthquake. A government that truly cares about human life takes disaster prevention as its top priority.

The doctor scrutinised the CAT scan and let out an, "Ah." He took three more scans, but he was still bewildered, thinking that there must be something wrong with the machine. He said, "Look, the smashed skull looks OK now." Since the results of the three examinations did not agree, they conducted another scan. The result was even more puzzling: it showed no damage to the skull. All that was needed were two stitches on the forehead.

Every day, over and over again, Father repeatedly recited, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Zhen-Shan-Ren [Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance] is good." A month later, father's swollen leg miraculously returned to normal. He had relied on medications to control his blood pressure, but now his blood pressure stayed normal without his taking any medicine.

The third time, they took me to a family's home where Master Li's lecture was being played. When we arrived, there were many people there, sitting on the beds and floor. I don't know why, but I suddenly began crying so hard, and I felt like a child who had been separated from his parents, and after suffering so much, finally found my parents again. I felt very comfortable after crying.

On the second morning, her mouth had returned to normal and she no longer drooled. She could speak clearly and could also walk again. A few days later the old woman came out of the hospital, and to this day she is still very healthy. This reduced the worries of her sons and daughters and also reduced their financial burden.

A subsequent examination indicated that everything had returned to normal. Her husband witnessed the miracle of Dafa. From then on, he tried his best to help with the family business, sparing more time for her to cultivate. When she met me, she said excitedly, "Teacher did not give up on me. I must listen to Teacher and do the three things well."

Since I did not go to school and could not read, a practitioner gave me Teacher's lecture audiotapes. After a year and a half of Fa-study and exercise, I no long needed the injections or medication, and I was able to see and speak normally. I could do household chores as usual. It was Teacher who saved me and gave me a second life. I sincerely agree that "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!"

"My wife and I went home yesterday and found two VCDs of the Chinese Spectacular at the foot of the door," he replied. "We watched it in the evening. It is really good! It teaches people to be good. They dance so beautifully and carry themselves so well! People who practice Falun Gong never take extra change when they go shopping. Where can you find such people nowadays?"

After one week's holiday, I went back to the factory to work. I went to the big hospital that had diagnosed my myocarditis and had another comprehensive examination, spending over 500 yuan. Going over the results, the doctor said, "You are healthy and quite normal." I called home and told my family that after I watched the Chinese Spectacular DVD, I recovered from myocarditis.

Practitioners have saved every penny they can to buy printer toner, at the risk of being arrested by plain-clothes police. When some elderly practitioners were sentenced to prison terms for distributing truth-clarifying materials, they were still worrying about people who have not yet heard about the truth of Falun Gong yet. Young practitioners save their allowances and lunch money and give it to their mothers so they can make a few extra copies of the truth-clarifying materials.

Having heard the news, a local practitioner went to Hong's house to tell him about Dafa and told him to recite often "Falun Dafa is good," and "'Truthfulness, Compassion, Compassion' is good." He also urged him to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Hong agreed, and a few days later, his condition began to improve. Without any operation or medication, he became healthy again.

Human beings suffer from the catastrophe. Human beings need to think, why it is we who suffer? Could it be that we did something wrong? Of course! As the old saying goes, "Good will be rewarded with good, and evil will meet with retribution." This is a universal law of nature.

Wanting to know the effect of practicing Falun Gong, I went to Chongqing to have a checkup. The result was that all the cancer cells disappeared! It is truly remarkable that practicing Falun Gong had such a miraculous effect in the short period of two months! I used to suffer back pain. Now I no longer have it. My skin became rosy and fair. Everyone said that I have changed. I indeed feel "light without any illnesses". Without spending one penny, my lung cancer was cured. I am thankful for Dafa and Teacher for giving me a second life.

When a young lay Buddhist finished watching the Divine Performing Arts performance on the DVD, she was so moved that words could not convey her emotions. When they saw the "Descent of the Celestial Kings", where the Gods and Buddhas descended to create human civilisation, this lay Buddhist and her folks were very impressed, especially by the background screen, as well as the lovely songs and meaningful lyrics.

After I read two chapters of the book to him, Master started to purify his body. He had the symptom of diarrhea and felt lighter. On the third day, the pain around his heart lessened. His attitude also changed and he began to believe what I had suggested. At around 5:00 a.m., he got up and sat on his bed repeatedly reciting, "Falun Dafa is good!"
