Master said in "Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005:"
"Students in Mainland China actually have a much tougher time. Their materials production sites are basically at a household level, and they spring up everywhere. In other words, people walk their own paths. Each person, or some that are coordinating with each other on a small scale, is walking his own path."
Not long ago, another "flower" blossomed in our local area. I am in charge of delivering truth-clarification materials. This time, I know how to protect this flower, since I understand the importance of searching inward now.
Before, I depended on another practitioner to produce materials for me. Whenever there was a technical difficulty, I always looked for her shortcomings in an aggressive manner. I thought that the problem wasn't related to me and I never thought about searching inward. Sometimes we studied the Fa and sent forth righteous thoughts together. However, because my basic concept was not right, the problem still wasn't resolved. I just wanted to get the materials without spending any of my own time or effort. The end result was easy to imagine.
Several days ago, the other practitioner asked me to come to her home quickly while she was printing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She said, "The printer is out of order. Neither of the paper trays works. We need to find someone to fix it quickly!" She showed me a printed page. There was only a square picture on the center of the page and no words. She put the page back into the paper tray and printed it again. There was still no words on the page. I stayed composed and said to her calmly, "There's nothing wrong with the printer. We have to have belief in Master. Let's search inward. It's possible that there is a problem with our xinxing. I have to go home and cook dinner, because my husband is waiting."
On my way home, I was sending forth righteous thoughts and searching inward. I found my selfishness. Recently, I always wanted to spend more time studying the Fa and paid less attention to helping out at the materials site. My "selfishness" surfaced. Deep in my mind, I always put "me" in front of everything.
In less than an hour, I finished fixing my husband's meal. Without eating, I went back to the other practitioner's home. I saw her smiling face. She said, "It's working now." Because she also found her attachment after I left, everything returned to normal. I thanked Master from the bottom of my heart, since "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's Master." (Zhuan Falun)
From what happened, I deeply realized the miracle of searching inward. If we search inward, we are gods. If we search outward, we are ordinary people.
