Sweden: Tourists Join a Falun Gong Rally in Stockholm

On August 16th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden joined a rally at Mynttorg Square in the capital city Stockholm. The rally was in support of 41 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and practitioners also exposed cases of forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. A lot of tourists from various countries around the world came to Mynttorg Square that day. When spotting the banners and display boards, a great deal of people asked for details of the CCP's atrocities. Most of the remarks Falun Gong practitioners heard were, "What can we do for you?"

The table for the petition against the persecution was always surrounded by people. They waited patiently to sign their names on the petition calling for an end to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, to support justice and condemn the CCP's atrocities.

An elderly person living in Sweden said happily after viewing the display boards, "I support you wholeheartedly. Many young people in Sweden don't know the evil of the communist party. Please give me ten copies of the newspaper so that I can distribute them to the young people around me to help them further understand the evil nature of the Communist Party. It is definitely a good thing for the Chinese people to renounce the CCP. I believe China will become better without the CCP."

A Swedish family especially came to ask for the material in Chinese, saying that they would give it to their Chinese friends.

A family of four touring in Sweden from Finland passed by the rally. When hearing about the CCP harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners, the two daughters were so shocked that they told their parents about the atrocity immediately. All of them looked serious and shook their heads. Before long, the family signed their names on the petition.

After attentively reading the information about the CCP trampling on human rights and various atrocities the CCP has perpetrated to destroy Chinese people’s beliefs, a woman from Latvia signed the petition. She said that it was something serious for her.

Two middle-aged men touring Sweden from a small country in Europe. They could speak English. After knowing the truth, the man asked for each of the English materials and DVDs despite carrying a heavy backpack. He then signed to support Falun Gong. He called his companion's name loudly, asking him to come back to sign the petition.

Members of a Chinese tourist group from the U.S. were surprised to see practitioners distribute The Epoch Times. An overseas Chinese said the Epoch Times was very popular, as it is the only medium that has the guts to cover the truth.

A lot of Chinese tourists coming to see the changing of the guard ceremony happily received Falun Gong leaflets.
