Italy: Rome and Milan Commemorate Eight Years of CCP Persecution Against Falun Gong
July 20th, 2007, marked eight years of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party. To remember and honour the 3066 Falun Gong practitioners who have lost their lives because they refused to give up their faith in Falun Gong and the principles of Truth, Compassion and Forbearance, Italian Falun Gong practitioners held peaceful protests in front of the Chinese Embassy in Rome and the Chinese Consulate in Milan on the morning of Friday July 20th.

In the afternoon, practitioners in Rome city centre had an activity in Repubblica Square. They handed out leaflets and talked to passersby about the persecution against Falun Gong. Many people were shocked to hear that Chinese Communist Party organisations instigated the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners to sell for profit. The practitioners’ bodies are then cremated to destroy any evidence.
