Sarajevo’s newspaper “Dnevni Avaz,” the most highly circulated daily paper in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported on the events during World Falun Gong Day in downtown Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on May 13th, 2007 as follows:

"Exercises that reduce stress and improve health based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance".

Falun Gong practitioners introduced this Chinese meditation practice to the people of Sarajevo outside the Cathedral yesterday. It consists of five simple exercises that are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.

The practitioners of this discipline claim that by practicing the Falun Gong exercises one can achieve improvement to one's health, reduce stress and that one can also gain inner peace and harmony. It also allows the practitioner to obtain better concentration and increases mental capacity. The movements are simple and easy to learn and all Falun Gong activities are free of charge.

The demonstration of the exercises actually represented a peaceful appeal and to publicise the brutal persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in China.

All those interested will have the opportunity to learn more about this traditional Chinese meditation practice on the square in front of the cathedral.
