Switzerland: Grand Parade Supporting the Withdrawals from the CCP and Exposing the Sujiatun Atrocities

“Quit the CCP, Quit the CCP and Quit the CCP quickly!” The slogan in Chinese, English and French echoed through the streets from Geneva city centre to the United Nations Square. On April 4th 2006, over five hundred people from many countries joined a rally organised by the European Epoch Times newspaper, protesting against atrocities in the Sujiatun concentration camp set up by the Chinese Communist regime and supporting over nine million people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party. Many Falun Gong practitioners joined this demonstration to expose to more people the Chinese Communist regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

According to information from the latest witness, the Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Shenyang city is one of thirty-six secret concentration camps built by the Chinese Communist regime. In the Sujiatun concentration camp, the Chinese Communist regime has detained thousands of Falun Gong practitioners, removing their organs for commercial profits while they are still alive and then cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence.

The demonstration passed along the bank of Lake Geneva, through the busiest business district, the grand fountain (Jet d’Eau) and finally arrived at the United Nations Geneva office the Palais des Nations, where a press conference was held.

The most eye-catching items in the parade were ten exhibition models at the front of the procession. The models displayed the scenes described in the “Nine Commentaries on Communist Party”, including the torture methods used by the Chinese Communist regime against Falun Gong practitioners. Many passers-by stopped to see the models, various pictures in the parade showing the torture and banners calling for the immediate end to the persecution and killing as well as supporting withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party.

At the Palais des Nations, our reporter interviewed Mr Zhu, a Falun Gong practitioner from the United Kingdom. Mr Zhu works for a local government department. He used his holiday and his own expense to come to join this activity in Geneva where the United Nations’ Human Rights Commission sits. He said to the reporter, “The atrocities committed in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp are an insult and threat to the whole of humanity. As a Faun Gong practitioner, I witnessed the persecution in China for so long and I think I have the responsibility to expose the evil nature of the Chinese Communist regime. For seven years, the Chinese Communist regime has carried out unprecedented and most inhuman genocide against Falun Gong practitioners who believe in “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance”. Especially faced with the atrocities in the Sujiatun concentration camp, any person with a conscience and justice could not ignore it. Silence is not neutral. Turning a blind eye on the Chinese Communist regime’s evil action is to allow the Chinese Communist regime to take away the bases of the Human race’s very existence, morality and conscience. The madness of the Chinese Communist regime will surely lead to its destruction!”

In the procession was a fourteen year old Falun Gong practitioner. She said that she specially took days off to come to this demonstration.

A Falun Gong practitioner from France said, “I was born in Cambodia and was educated to love the Communist Party. We all know that the Chinese Communist Party was the master of the Khmer Rouge regime. The “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” is such a precious document. It can help one to look through the real face of the Chinese Communists. He said, “When I first read it, I cried”. As a person, he would come to support this activity if he learns the truth of the Chinese Communist Party. If only the Chinese Communist regime could be abolished, the Chinese people and people around the world would have truly good life. Through media propaganda, economic interest and foreign relations, the Chinese Communist regime cheated the whole world. Some people assisted the regime after being cheated. I hope they have an opportunity to learn the truth. Many overseas Chinese are poisoned by the Chinese Communist regime’s propaganda. The regime takes advantage of the overseas Chinese people’s emotion towards China and fills them with lies.”

A young tourist from Canada was very shocked after learning about the atrocities committed by the Chinese Communist regime in the Sujiatun concentration camp. He said, "Only because Falun Gong practitioners practise Falun Gong that they are detained and their organs are removed, this action should be condemned by everyone. I wish good luck stays with you.”

A tourist from Italy said, “I sincerely hope the Chinese people will discard the Chinese Communist regime. We have succeeded. I wish you luck. I sincerely hope you will succeed.”

An elderly lady from Serbia told the reporter: please have this kind of activity everyday, you should let more people see and learn about what is happening in China.
