On the morning of December 15th 2005, Dutch Falun Gong practitioners went to the Thai Embassy in Holland to deliver an open letter in protest against the Thai police's violation of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights. The Embassy secretary accepted the letter.
In the course of submitting the letter, practitioners expressed a request to meet with the Ambassador in person. After waiting for a short time, the secretary responded that the Ambassador had no time to meet with practitioners because the Ambassador is about to transfer to the homeland to take up a new post.
Practitioners introduced Falun Gong to the secretary, discussed the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, as well as the CCP’s attempt to extend the persecution to many other countries overseas. Thailand is a country with Buddhist belief, but the Thai police wildly mistreated Falun Gong practitioners. This is a violation of human rights.
The secretary expressed on her own initiative that she will convey practitioners’ request for a meeting with the Ambassador in person and left her name and liaison telephone numbers. Finally she promised to pass the English Nine Commentaries [on the Communist Party - A special editorial published by the Epoch Times newspaper] to the Ambassador.
