Russia: Exercise Demonstration and Exposing the Persecution at the "International Conference of Traditional Medical Treatments"

On the 25th of August 2005, Moscow Falun Gong practitioners attended the 4th International Conference of Traditional Medical Treatments. During the conference practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, telling the attendees about what Falun Gong is, and about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) six years of persecution against the peaceful practice.

Falun Gong practitioners in gold traditional Chinese exercise suits demonstrated the exercises to the audience, accompanied by the elegant exercise music. The peaceful practice provoked much interest from the audience. At the same time, practitioners explained to people about the persecution started by Jiang’s accomplices and the evil CCP on the 20th of July 1999 and the genocide used on such a group of good people who practise Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.

According to incomplete estimates, right now there have been almost 2,800 practitioners persecuted to death and hundreds of children who have become orphans. These children do not only live really difficult lives, but also have to endure heavy psychological pressure. They do not only lose the love of their parents, which they should rightfully have, but are also discriminated against by the people around them who do not understand the truth. Practitioners called for people to pay attention to this persecution.

The beauty of Falun Gong and the persecution in China formed a stark contrast. Lots of people took down contact numbers from practitioners who attended the conference and expressed a wish to find out more about the practice.
