From May the 20th to the 23rd 2005, the third Ukraine Falun Gong cultivation experience sharing conference was successfully held in Ukraine’s capital city, Kiev. The conference was attended by Falun Gong practitioners from Ukraine, Russia, Byelorussia, Latvia, Israel, Germany and Sweden.

On the first day, all participants studied Zhuan Falun (the main text of Falun Dafa practice) and other publications, including Master li’s latest lectures. On the second day, the outdoor Falun Gong group exercise practice started a morning of activities to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the persecution happening in China. The conference commenced in the afternoon, with six practitioners talking about their experiences. Some shared their personal cultivation experiences while others talked about their understanding of the progress of Fa-rectification.

After the conference concluded, practitioners held a concert in the park near the Presidential Office. Performances included dancing, singing, a piano solo, poetry recitals and waist drum performances. The concert was full of peace and harmony and the large audience was deeply touched by the wonderful performances.

On the third day, a grand parade was held in the centre of Kiev. The banner reading “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” was followed by banners in other languages. In a solemn and dignified manner, some practitioners donned white clothing and carried commemorative photos of the practitioners who lost their lives in the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution against Falun Gong.

As the parade was very unique in Kiev, it attracted many local people who happily accepted flyers. After setting out from an elegant square, it arrived at the Chinese Embassy in Kiev a few minutes later. After sending forth righteous thoughts for ten minutes at the Chinese Embassy, the parade continued.

Passing the Presidential Office and the Ministerial Office, the parade stopped in European Square, in which dances were performed and flyers distributed. The activities concluded after the practitioners arrived back at the square in the central area of Kiev’s old town.
