On March 28 2005, the "Uncompromising Courage Art Exhibition" opened in the University of Texas at Austin, Texas. The exhibition was organised by local Falun Gong practitioners.

The art exhibition exposed one of the most brutal persecutions in human history, the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party. The paintings showed the evil nature of the persecution, as well as people who stepped forward to safeguard the principles of "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance". In face of the destruction of justice, freedom and dignity, the Falun Dafa practitioners responded with uncompromising courage and a compassionate response to hatred, torture and killing.
Thirty-eight paintings were created by over ten Falun Gong practitioners who are artists. Some of the artists had experienced torture first-hand, and one of the artists is still in a Chinese prison.
The paintings were divided into four sections:
Heaven and human united
Hardships and torture
Uncompromising courage
Justice will prevail
In the morning, the photographer and reporter from the university newspaper arrived early and asked many questions. During the exhibition, many students and staff members viewed the exhibits. The visitors were moved by the Falun Gong practitioners' persistence in courageously facing the trials and tribulations of the persecution. One physiology researcher was so shocked that the Chinese police could even think of such cruel torture methods that he sighed and shook his head repeatedly.
The next day, the university newspaper reported the event. These paintings will be on display in Austin from April 7 to 11.
