I am a Chinese citizen, so I am entitled to the freedom of personal belief according to the Chinese Constitution.
I am a law-abiding taxpayer, so China belongs to you and it also belongs to me.
My spiritual belief does not endanger the society in any way, so my spiritual belief is perfectly legal and rational.
My speech and actions have never harmed anyone, so I did not violate the law by practising my spiritual belief.
Because the Chinese Communist Party is in power, it slanders and condemns my spiritual belief based on unfounded reasons. What should I do?
Because the Chinese Communist Party is in power, it deprived me of my freedom of personal belief and even throws me into prison. What should I do?
Because the Chinese Communist Party is in power, it wilfully spreads vicious rumours about my personal belief on its media and covers its murders and crimes.
Do I not have the right to defend for my personal belief and for myself? Do I not have the right to peaceful appeal to end the injustice? Do I not have the right to tell more people about my personal belief and the dreadful persecution that is ongoing?
Of course I do. These are the most basic rights of a citizen.
A country belongs to its people. A country’s media belong to its people. A country’s laws are created to uphold justice. People’s media should speak in the voice of justice.
When a country, a country’s media and a country’s laws are used by the country’s dictator to assist in his crimes, do the taxpayers of the country not have the right to call for help via the media that they help finance with their taxes?
Of course they do.
Thus, is it not right to broadcast on Chinese TV networks TV programs that contain the truth about Falun Gong in order to safeguard the most fundamental virtues of the mankind, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,” to call for help to rescue kindhearted people who practise Falun Gong, and to awake the conscience of the Chinese people who have fallen prey to the Chinese Communist Party’s slanderous lies?
Such a TV broadcast is an act of great compassion.
