On April the 17th 2004, the Fact Art Centre in Liverpool organised a show with the theme “A little peace in this changing world”. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to join the show and used this opportunity to tell the audience about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

The activity started from about midday and practitioners performed indoors and outdoors at two sites. After the new "Turning Wheel" dance members of the UK Choir sang "Coming for You" and practitioners deonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Passers by stopped and watched the performances. Many people came to our display desk to find out more and take a leaflet. For a period of time, people were queueing in a long line waiting to sign a petition to stop the persecution in China. A lady who was selling flowers nearby came specially to us and gave us a bouquet of flowers. She said to practitioners, “Thanks to all of you, your performances are so lovely!”

Inside the auditorium, a western practitioner introduced Falun Gong to the audience: “Falun Gong is an ancient cultivation way which has its roots in the east. It can not only improve people’s health but also enhance moral standards. Practitioners cultivate following the “True, Good, Endure” principles”. After the speech, two young practitioners demonstrated the five exercises. The audience enthusiastically requested leaflets and asked where they could learn the exercises.

After watching the practitioners’ performances, the organiser said, “We are so happy to receive pleasure from such an elegant and traditional eastern art here. We hope you can join our activities again in the future."
