Both Liu Feng and Yang Fang were studying in Dublin, Ireland before they returned to China during the Christmas holidays in 1999 and were illegally arrested. Although they were later released, they were forbidden from returning to Ireland to continue their studies. In 2002, Liu Feng was illegally abducted again while shopping and sent to Dalian’s Yaojia Detention Centre. At the moment, nobody knows his whereabouts. When Yang Fang prepared to return to Ireland, she was forbidden to board the plane by customs officials and was forcibly taken to her hometown of Shenyang. At present, they have retained their student status at the college where they studied. Students and teachers alike are all concerned about their situation.

On December the 17th, practitioners went to Dun Laoghaire, where Liu Feng and Yang Fang went to college, to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises and collect signatures for their release. Many people signed the petition and took a leaflet. Some people were interested in learning the exercises. When some students saw the gentle exercises, they were amazed. When they heard that Falun Gong was being persecuted in China, they signed their names on a petition calling for an end to these atrocities without hesitation.

History will bring the guilty to justice as the truth is brought to light, and the violence and deception will dissolve under the kindness and conscience of humanity. The power of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance is boundless.
