Wang Lixuan and her 8-month-old baby, who were persecuted to death

Today is World Human Rights Day. The purpose of this day is to ask people to remember those who have been persecuted to death because of their beliefs, viewpoints or thoughts. In this regard, there are serious problems with some countries around the world, and China is one of those countries. Anyone bearing different viewpoints can be unreasonably put into jail, or sent to mental hospitals or forced labour camps for torture. Many of them have been persecuted to death.

Those who are being persecuted include the increasing number of AIDS patients, Falun Gong practitioners, Catholics, Christians, Tibetans as well as those who browse the internet and so on. Many products exported to western countries are mainly manufactured by imprisoned people.

The persecution of Falun Gong, a traditional qigong, has persisted for four years. Falun Gong was once widespread in China in the early 1990's.

10,000 People Implicated

According to official statistics from 1998, there were about 100 million people practising Falun Gong. The former Chinese dictator, Jiang Zemin, initiated this suppression and has rendered one twelfth of the Chinese population under direct persecution. The implementation of this national terrorism has even implicated Falun Gong practitioners’ family members.

Tens of thousands of people have been persecuted only because they want to practise a cultivation way, which teaches them how to improve their health and cultivate their mind.

Eradication

The Chinese government has spent a gigantic amount of economic resources to fund the persecution of Falun Gong. The sources of the fund are its national treasury, and probably the foreign countries’ investments in China, loans as well as commercial transactions.

Jiang Zemin has directly instigated the “610 Office”, which is an organisation strikingly similar to the Gestapo. The objective of the organisation is to eradicate Falun Gong through transformation, brainwashing and cruel torture. A huge amount of funds have been used to transform Falun Gong practitioners through cruel torture.
