Germany: Bringing Jiang to Justice in the Court of People's Conscience: Reports on a Series of Activities in Munich

Munich is the third biggest city in Germany. The university here, The Munich University, is the largest in Germany and has nearly one hundred thousand students. It also has many museums, art galleries, as well as different kinds of music and dramatic performances, which attract tens of thousands of tourists daily. A place called Marienplatz is in the city centre. Here, a statue of Saint Mary standing high on a marble pillar overlooks everything.

On this day Munich was filled with sunshine. Though the wind was cold, there were still many people at the square. On the 25th of October, Dafa practitioners from Munich and nearby cities held an activity to “Bring Jiang to Justice” in Marienplatz. Practitioners displayed boards introducing Dafa and exposing the evil persecution, and when they demonstrated the exercises the passing tourists slowed down. Some stopped to watch the exercises, some carefully read posters about Jiang being sued in different countries, and still others spent a long time looking attentively at the large pictures of practitioners who have been persecuted to death. One Buddhist gave a Buddhist sign of respect towards the pictures. Some passersby even imitated the exercise movements with great interest.

Many people were shocked by the cruel persecution and could not understand why the Jiang regime treats a group of people who cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance in such a way. Some people did not understand Dafa, but they asked questions so that they could learn more. Many people signed their names on a petition to rescue Xiong Wei and to support “The Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice”. Some enquired how they could help Falun Gong practitioners to stop the persecution, and some said they wanted to help Dafa practitioners financially. They were thanked for their kind intentions, and were told that Falun Gong practitioners only ask for moral support for justice. Practitioners hoped that they could help in the appeal to all sectors of society, parties and organisations, so as to stop this evil persecution and to bring Jiang to justice as early as possible.

Many tourists from Mainland China saw the Dafa practitioners demonstrating the exercises. Some lingered around the pictures showing Dafa's worldwide popularity and the pictures of the cruel persecution of Falun Gong by the Jiang regime. They watched for a long time and did not want to leave. Some were astonished, because what they saw and heard was completely different from the propaganda in China.

During this activity, practitioners generally felt a change in people’s hearts. The indifferent attitudes had disappeared. Many people came to enquire about exercise sites and were enthusiastic about learning to practise. Practitioners were touched and deeply sensed their important responsibility. This activity is only one of a series of activities to bring Jiang to justice. Their aim is to bring Jiang to trial in the court of morality and conscience until his evil deeds are exposed to the whole world.
