Why I am Suing Jiang Zemin

Over the past 4 years, Jiang Zemin has used municipal institutions and social resources to conduct a systematic, brutal persecution against 100 million Falun Dafa practitioners. He implemented state terrorism. With his genocidal directive to: "defame their reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically," tens of millions of Falun Dafa practitioners were illegally detained, sent to labor camps, sentenced to prison terms, forced into mental institutions, injured or killed with torture, torn from their families, and forced to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. Friends, family members, colleagues and employers of one hundred million Falun Dafa practitioners suffered for their connection and the whole nation was brainwashed by lies.

To me, Jiang represents all evil throughout history, as all his claims against Falun Dafa in this persecution are based on lies, fabrications, and slander. I will share my personal account.

I started cultivating Falun Dafa in the second half of 1996. Trying to be a good person according to "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance," I recognized the purpose of life is to return to one's original-true self, and to assimilate to "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance." From then on, I had a clear concept that I wanted to benefit others, benefit the society.

This remarkable practice that can guide people towards goodness and upgrade virtue was brutally persecuted and suppressed in 1999. In order to let the government know the truth, and stop this unfair treatment toward Falun Gong, I went to Beijing to appeal, but was illegally detained for 17 days. I requested a peaceful dialogue with Falun Dafa practitioners, and was illegally sentenced to 18 months in a labor camp.

In the labor camp, I was forced to sit on a little stool (about 1 foot long, 1 foot high, and 6 inches wide), where I was not allowed to move or change positions from 7 AM till 9 PM. My back was very sore, my legs were numb, and it was hard to endure. They forced me to eat moldy rice, so yellow it looked like it was painted. The rice was dry, hard, and difficult to swallow. I had to drink water to help the rice go down. When they forced me to work, I had to get up early and come back after sunset, working thirteen hours or more a day. I had large infected wounds on my chest, back and buttocks, and bloody liquid soaked through my clothes. I shivered with pain when I had to walk, move, use the toilet, or take off clothing to sleep, as the clothing stuck to the wounds. I had to grit my teeth to endure the pain. Both my middle fingers were swollen and infected, and I could not wring out my washcloth when washing my face. In the early spring weather, I had to wash my clothes in icy cold water. The pain in my infected fingers went all the way to the bones! I still have chills when I recall the suffering. In order to "transform" me, police forced me to watch the slandering materials and videos. When I revealed their lies, and my firm belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance," police would direct prisoners to torture me physically. The prisoners shouted while they beat me, "If I can't beat you to death, at least I will peel two layers of skin off you!" When they could not reach their goal through mental and physical torture, Jiang and the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) extended my term by six months for no reason. Police said to me, "If you do not change your mind, you will never leave here." Jiang and his regime have never follow the law, they are conducting genocide. My older sister, who cultivates Falun Gong was illegally detained twice for telling the government the truth. My younger brother was also illegally sentenced to two years in a labor camp because he clarified the truth to people. They both suffered similar torture and even more brutal treatment in detention centers and labor camps.

My younger brother had it especially hard. He went on hunger strike to protest the illegal abduction and detention, and was brutally force-fed by police, which scratched his esophagus. My mother suffered tremendous psychological pressure with my brother and me in labor camps. She was constantly worried for our safety, and desperately wanted to visit us; yet for the 730 days we were imprisoned, she was not allowed to visit even once. My wife and I were torn apart just months after we were married. She cried every sleepless night of those 730 days, and wrote many letters, mailing them to the labor camp. She was expecting a response from me, even one sentence would be great, but police withheld all her letterse. I saw her draft letters only after I came to Canada. Jiang and his regime persecuted me inhumanly, depriving me of basic human rights. For the two years I was in prison, they prevented my wife's visits, and even withheld letters she asked the Red Cross to deliver. My experience is only the tip of the iceberg. Millions of families have been broken due to the persecution of Falun Gong. My brother-in-law, Li Chun, is currently illegally detained and sentenced to fifteen months in a labor camp for no reason. The "torture" and "genocide" committed by Jiang and his regime against Falun Dafa practitioners is undeniable.

The persecution initiated by Jiang has directly ruined the health and happiness of millions of people, manipulated Chinese and world governments, officials, and organizations, and, by slandering a practice that teaches people "Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance", damaged human society's morals and conscience. Thus, every person in the world has been a victim of this criminal persecution.
In order to stop Jiang's genocide persecution of Falun Dafa, end this four year disaster, and save more poisoned people, I want to sue Jiang! I deeply believe in the ancient principle, that "The vicious can not surpass the righteous!" Never in history has someone who persecuted those with upright faiths ever succeeded. Jiang can never escape the trial of history, and in the end the people will denounce him. Since Jiang persecutes people trying to be good according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance", this genocide is an unforgivable sin. I hope all kind hearted people will support this lawsuit, and bring Jiang to justice.
