Ireland: Spreading the Fa during Waterford’s Street Festival

Dafa practitioners travelled to the city of Waterford to display the Falun Gong exercises, tell people the facts about the persecution in China and pass on the wonderful benefits of the practice to the people of Waterford on the Irish bank holiday weekend. The city was celebrating the annual "Spraoi" festival, which includes street theatre, live music and performing arts; there was a lively atmosphere of celebration in the city centre on Saturday as thousands of onlookers came for Dafa leaflets and to ask about the practice. On Sunday morning we held a free exercise teaching class in the local park.

The class was very successful: many enthusiastic locals came to learn from the volunteer practitioners who taught them the peaceful exercises and introduced the practise. The locals were keen to set up a regular group practice in the city after learning the exercises.
