In September and October 2002, world famous English musician and songwriter David Bowie went on tour through Europe visiting Germany, France, the UK, Sweden and other countries. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to each of his concerts so that they could clarify the truth of the persecution to the people there, together with a famous human rights organisation. At each concert practitioners were provided with a table and they had permission to speak to all of the people visiting the concert. In this way it was possible to clarify the truth to many thousands of people attending each concert, including many Chinese people who attended the concert. Many people signed petitions, took materials and watched the truth clarifying videos. As people attending the concert were relaxed and not in a hurry they could spend time talking to practitioners.
