On October 1-9, 2009, the 121st Olympic Session and the XIIIth Olympic Congress of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) were held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Falun Gong practitioners took this opportunity to introduce Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong), and expose the ten-year brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

On September 26, Sweden's Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Service Centre organised a rally at Mynttorget Square to condemn the Communist regime's atrocities and support over 60 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organisations. The persecution of Falun Gong was highlighted.

On October 1st, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Munich, Germany held a peaceful protest against the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution in front of the Chinese Consulate. They raised banners reading, "Falun Dafa" and exposed the CCP's organ harvesting crimes against Falun Gong practitioners. Their protest was supported by the German people.

On October 1, 2009, the 60th anniversary of the CCP's rise to power, practitioners in Manchester demonstrated and did group exercises in front of the Chinese Consulate to expose the CCP's crimes. It has been 60 years since the CCP forcefully took power.

To commemorate ten years of persecution against Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Irish practitioners held a march and other activities in Dublin on the 18th, 19th and 20th of July. They called on the Irish government and people from all walks of life to join the rising worldwide voice to stop the persecution.

On July 19 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in France rallied at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s ten years of persecution against Falun Gong. While some practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, others displayed some torture methods that are used by the Chinese Communist regime on Falun Gong practitioners.

On July 21st, 2009, Swedish Daily, the third largest newspaper in Sweden, carried an article entitled “The Meditation Against Suppression” to cover the candlelight vigil at the Chinese Embassy organised by Swedish Falun Gong practitioners to commemorate the thousands of Falun Gong practitioners killed by the communist regime in China.

In front of Chinese Consulate in Milan, people can often see Falun Gong practitioners. From 2002, they have kept going there to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong despite wind or rain. Outside the consulate, voices of justice can be heard frequently from people who learn the truth about the CCP's persecution.

On the afternoon of July 18, 2009, Swiss Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate. Practitioners disclosed the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong, appealed to just people from all classes to condemn the Chinese Communists’ crimes against humanity and to support Falun Gong practitioners’ campaign of anti-persecution.

Croatian practitioners handed in a letter to the President, Prime Minister and Parliament to let them know about the ongoing persecution in China. They urged the Croatian leaders to represent Croatia’s voice and support Falun Dafa. Practitioners also told the media about activities to call for an end to the persecution.

On August 15, 2009, Turkish practitioners held a rally in Istanbul's famous Taksim Square to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s criminal persecution of Falun Gong. They called on the Turkish people to help to put an end to the decade-long brutal persecution. Three of Turkey's largest news agencies and Turkey's largest newspaper dispatched reporters to cover the event.

UK-based practitioners protested against the deportation of three Falun Gong asylum seekers from Korea to China in front of the Korean Embassy in London from August 5 to 7, 2009. Falun Gong practitioners from different countries have appealed to the Korean government not to give in to the Chinese Communist regime.

From 6 to 9 p.m. on July 21, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in Moscow against the CCP's ten-year persecution of Falun Gong. They also held a candlelight vigil to commemorate fellow practitioners who were tortured to death in China.

In order to call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) decade-long persecution of Falun Gong, practitioners in Sweden held a car tour, stopping in a number of cities to hold activities. The tour started from Copenhagen on July 11th 2009 before moving into Sweden and stopping in various cities where people signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.

On 20th July 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Iceland protested in front of the Chinese Embassy. They called for an end to the ten years of persecution that the Chinese communist Party (CCP) has waged against Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners talked to passersby about the Falun Gong practice and the CCP's horrendous human rights abuses.

On July 17 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held an event in front of the famous Stock Exchange in downtown Brussels, calling people from all walks of life to pay attention to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese communist Party (CCP), which has lasted ten years, and to stop the persecution.

On July 19 and 21, Falun Gong practitioners from Italy held activities in front of the Chinese Embassy and the Italian Parliament, calling for an end to the 10-year-long persecution of Falun Gong. They also called upon the Italian government to recognise the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and help end the persecution.

On July 20 2009, UK Falun Gong practitioners rallied in the square adjacent to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben to mark the 10th anniversary of the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong. Their activities attracted the attention of UK politicians and the general public.

On the 20th of July 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Italy held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate in Milan to protest the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which has lasted ten years.

It has been 10 years since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong. On July 16, 2009, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in Vienna to expose the brutal persecution still taking place in China. The head of the Austrian Falun Dafa Association called on all media outlets to focus on the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

On the morning of July 19th, Falun Gong practitioners from Croatia gathered in Jarun, Zagreb's biggest park, to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises and hand out flyers. They let people know bout the Falun Gong practice and the 10 years of persecution waged against practitioners in China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

On the evening of July 20 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front the Chinese Consulate in Hamburg, the largest port city in Germany, to protest the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) which has lasted ten years.

On July 20, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Ukraine held events in different places to commemorate their fellow practitioners who were tortured to death and to call attention to the need to end the CCP's ten-year persecution. They also held banners detailing the CCP's use of torture and its harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

On July 18, 2009, Falun Going practitioners gathered at the Plaza Puerta del Sol in front of the Madrid City Hall. They held a rally to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong. At night, they held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy.

On July 20, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held a 24-hour rally in front of the Chinese Embassy in Vienna. They protested and called for an end to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. A Member of Austrian Parliament and Chairperson of the European Green Party, and another Austrian MP sent letters to support.

On July 20, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Paris held a peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate the 10th anniversary of resisting the CCP persecution. For the first time in ten years, practitioners in Paris obtained permission via legal channels to hold a protest close to the Chinese Embassy.

On July 17, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland came to the Chinese Embassy to protest the Chinese Communist regime's 10-year of persecution against Falun Gong and to call for an end to the persecution. Several practitioners talked about the benefits they have received from the practice, as well as the regime's human rights abuses.

On July 20, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy. They mourned the death of their fellow practitioners and called on people with a sense of justice and conscience to help to stop the persecution. Practitioners held up banners and arranged candles to form the letters in "FALUN DAFA".

Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held a candlelight vigil in front of the Parliament building in Helsinki on the evening of July 18, 2009, to mourn their fellow practitioners in China who paid with their lives for remaining steadfast in the face of brutal persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

On July 11, practitioners held a rally and march in front of the Chinese Embassy in Berlin calling for the disintegration of the CCP and an end to the persecution. Representatives from German Falun Dafa Association, Society for Threatened Peoples and International Society for Human Rights gave speeches at the rally.

On Saturday 18 July, Falun Gong practitioners in the United Kingdom held a parade through central London to commemorate ten years of persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

On 18th June 2009, Chinese leader Hu Jintao went to Bratislava and there were protests about human rights abuses in China. Several NGOs took part in the protests and many media reported on it. People stopped to watch a re-enactment of the organ harvesting the CCP is perpetrating against Falun Gong practitioners.

On the morning of June 26 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held banners opposite the President's Office, protesting the CCP's persecution against Falun Gong. Many practitioners participating in the event had suffered persecution when they were in China, some were personally detained, some practitioners' relatives died as a result of the persecution.

Practitioners gathered on Zagreb's main square, handed out flyers and demonstrated the exercises. This peaceful gathering drew a lot of media attention. Most people had never heard about Falun Gong and were shocked to see the images of practitioners being tortured in China. The question on everyone's lips was, "Why are these people tortured?"

In the morning of the 24th of April, practitioners gathered opposite the Chinese Embassy and held up banners with slogans such as “Falun Dafa is good” and “Immediately stop persecuting Falun Gong”. They distributed leaflets to those who came to the Embassy for visa applications.

On the 10th anniversary of the April 25 Appeal, Falun Gong practitioners from Titisee, Germany held activities to tell people about the persecution. Titisee Lake is a famous tourist spot that is visited by many Chinese tourists, and the practitioners took this opportunity to help them withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organisations.

On the afternoon of April 25 2009, Norwegian Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy in Oslo to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the April 25th appeal in Beijing and expose the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. They broadcast speeches detailing the evil nature of the CCP to awaken people and stop the persecution.

On the 25th of April, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from Denmark and Sweden held an activity in a square in Copenhagen to commemorate the tenth anniversary of ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealing in Beijing. They also called for an end to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.

On April 25 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK held a day-long commemorative activity in London. This included demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and holding a peaceful protest at the Chinese Embassy, hosting a press conference, and holding a parade through central London and Chinatown.

On the morning of April 25 2009, Dafa practitioners demonstrated in front of the Chinese Embassy in Madrid, Spain to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the April 25 Appeal and to protest the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Mr. Li Zhihe is a witness of the peaceful appeal in 1999. He spoke to staff members in the Chinese Embassy through a loudspeaker. He talked about how the 610 Office persecuted him and his family because he went to the State Council Appeals Office to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa.

On April 25, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in the city centre of Dublin, Ireland and afterwards had a candlelight vigil to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the "April 25" peaceful appeal, to mourn for their fellow practitioners who have lost their lives in the persecution by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Mainland China.

On April 25 2009, North German Falun Gong practitioners assembled in front of the Hamburg Chinese Embassy and the city centre to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the April 25th Appeal and to protest the CCP's ten-year persecution of Falun Gong. They also called for a joint effort to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

On April 25 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Austria held activities to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the April 25th Appeal in Vienna and Linz. Many passers-by stopped to look at the display boards and read the leaflets. People signed a petition supporting putting a stop to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong in China.

On April 24 2009, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in front of the Chinese Embassy in Brussels to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the large-scale peaceful appeal in Beijing. Meanwhile, they protested the ten-year-long persecution of Falun Gong and called for an end to the persecution.

On April 25 2009, Falun Dafa practitioners from all over Italy went to the Chinese embassy and various famous tourist sites and held commemorative activities related to the "April 25" Appeal. After people learned about the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, they were touched by the peacefulness and diligence of the practitioners.

On April 25, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland once again went to Bahnhofstrasse, a bustling street in Zurich. They displayed photos depicting the persecution imposed on Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and exposed the CCP's crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

On April 25, Falun Gong practitioners from Mannheim held an activity to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the April 25 Appeal at Blankenstrasse. The practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. People happily accepted leaflets and signed their names on a petition to support the practitioners.

Practitioners formed Chinese characters with candles and set up nine wreathes in memory of more than 3,000 practitioners who were tortured to death during the persecution. Many people were shocked; they stopped and asked what had happened. Practitioners spoke with them and passed out leaflets and other information materials.

On April 25, 1999, ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners appealed peacefully at the National Appeals Office in Beijing. On the tenth anniversary of the April 25 Appeal, Falun Gong practitioners in Great Britain held a peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in London, calling for an end to the persecution by the CCP, and to mourn their fellow practitioners in China who have died from the persecution.

On April 24, 2009, practitioners in Holland gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in The Hague to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the April 25th appeal and protest CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. On the morning of April 24, practitioners performed the exercises in front of the Chinese Consulate to protest the CCP's violence.

On April 25, Falun Gong practitioners from Istanbul held a candlelight vigil to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the April 25 Appeal. Practitioners played a song called "Candlelight" and talked to passersby about Falun gong practice and the ten years of brutal persecution against practitioners in China.

On February 2nd, 2009, according to schedule, the premier of China, Wen Jiabao made a speech at Cambridge university. Two hours before Wen Jiabao arrived, the Cambridge University Amnesty International group and those from Cambridge University who pay close attention to human rights in China had already arrived at the speech site, and they held a protest, demanding respect for human rights. Cambridge Falun Gong practitioners were also present.

When the Chinese Prime Minister motorcade passed by, he could see Falun Gong practitioners several meters away displaying banners. The banners called for the ringleaders of the persecution to be brought to justice and called on the Chinese regime to end the persecution of Falun Gong.
