On February 11th, 2008, a group of parents, children and teachers were holding a "winter study camp" activity at the Chailin Hotel in the Yujiatou Community, Wuchang District of Wuhan City. The focus of their activity was to study the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance and how to apply the principles in daily life in order to be a good person. In the afternoon, more than 10 police officers from the first Division of the Wuhan Police Department led by the Division Chief Lu, barged into the Chailin Hotel and detained teachers Ms. Chen Man, Ms. Xiong Yingzhi, a dozen or so children and some of the parents. The police videotaped the children and the parents. A dozen or so children were isolated from their parents and the police shouted at the children whose parents were not present.

The Olympic Games will be held in Beijing this year. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has already started to arrest Falun Gong practitioners en masse in the various districts and townships of Beijing. They claim that this is necessary for the Olympic Games to proceed smoothly. Ms. Li Yuejin was laid off at work several years ago because she practises Falun Gong. On February 19th, 2008, about a dozen police officers surrounded her home. The police forcibly entered Ms. Li Yuejin's home and searched it several times, but they did not find the "evidence" they wanted. After they took away Ms. Li Yuejin and her computer, the police informed her family that the computer contained information about Falun Gong. However, Ms. Li's family knows she does not know how to use the computer. Ms. Li Yuejin is detained but her whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Gan Zhixi is 64-years-old. In 1999 Ms. Gan went to appeal against the persecution of Falun Gong and was arrested and detained for five and a half months in a detention centre. In 2000, after appealing again, she was sentenced to the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp for three years and in 2005 she was again sent to the labour camp.

Li Changming, head of the Linghe District Police Department "Emergency Response" Patrol Division in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province persecuted Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiufang. Police arrested four practitioners on January 29th, 2003. Wang Xiufang resisted the arrest, and four police officers grabbed her arms and legs. Li Changming grabbed her hair and dragged her from the third floor to the ground floor. When they arrived at the police department, Li Changming dragged her from the front gate into a room. When they drove her to the detention centre, he again grabbed her hair and dragged her in and out of the car. The detention centre doctor and guard Qiu saw blood and large bruises on her head.

Ms. Du Huiqiong and Mr. Luo Yuzhang from Xinjin County went to Jinhua Township to explain the facts about Falun Gong and expose the persecution on the afternoon of January 16th, 2008. Four men on two motorcycles blocked them. They called for a car and took the practitioners to the Jinhua Town Police Station. They released Du Huiqiong around midnight, but they have held Luo Yuzhang up until now. Both practitioners' homes were ransacked the night they were held at the Puxing Police Station. The officials took Dafa books and materials, VCDs and MP3 players.

In 2000, Mr. Yang Guoquan was sentenced to three years of forced labour for appealing in Beijing for the right to practise Falun Gong. In October 2007, Cheng Zishan (male) and Chen Biao (male), officers of the Xifeng County 610 Office, struck him on the mouth with electric batons. Also, they went to Juxiang Village and Toudaogou Village many times to deceive villagers and make them commit perjury. On December 25th, 2007, Mr. Yang was sentenced to three years in prison by the Xifeng County Court. Around January 25th, 2008, he was taken to Shenyang Prison and subjected to persecution.

On January 16th, 2008, Shijiazhuang City 610 Office agents and police officers from the Xinhua District Department and the Shigang Street Station arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuxia and Mr. Zhao Tongxiao. They were detained at the Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Centre. The 610 Office agents plotted against Mr. Zhao by first arresting him and then using fabricated evidence to falsely charge him, claiming that Mr. Zhao had tapped into the satellite TV system and used it to broadcast Falun Gong films.

On April 15th, 2005, police burst into the property where Ms. Liu Peizhen and her husband were living and arrested them both. They also seized Ms. Liu's computer and her materials exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained in the Nanshan District Detention Centre. In November 2005, the Nanshan District Court held a trial for Ms. Liu. The following April, Ms. Liu was sentenced to eight years in prison for distributing materials exposing the persecution. She is currently being held at the Guangzhou City Women's Prison. It is impossible to express how much pain and torture Ms. Liu has suffered during the last three years. According to her family, Ms. Liu is almost blind, so she is unable to read anything. She is also unable to care for herself without assistance.

On January 29th, 2008, the Bao'an District Court in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province held a secret trial and sentenced Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Jinshu from Hong Kong to six years in prison for sending out Falun Dafa books. Mr. Chen's family has filed an appeal. Mr. Chen's older sister in Shenzhen accepted an interview in tears. She said, "My brother is innocent. He is not guilty of any crime just because he practises Falun Gong." The court fabricated evidence to frame her brother and accused him of a case that was closed in 2005.

On November 25th, 2007, police arrested Ms. Wang Qi, a computer instructor because she was carrying a Falun Gong book in her bag. At the police station the police chief interrogated her as to the origin of the Falun Gong book. Police handcuffed her, and punched and kicked her. The chief said, "Even if Falun Gong members are beaten to death, they die for nothing, and their family might never know about it."

At 6:50 a.m. on December 13th, 2007, Teng Yan, deputy head of Changhong Police Substation, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, along with two police officers broke into the home of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qiu Yuxia. They arrested Ms. Qiu Yuxia, and took away her home computer, printer, CD writer, VCD player, 2000 yuan in cash, a bank deposit book and deposit receipts (amounting to 30,000 yuan), her ID card and salary deposit card. Qiu Yuxia's daughter Ma Duo was arrested while at work. At 3 o'clock that afternoon, both women were sent to the detention centre.

Seventy-three-year old practitioner Ms. Chen Ling was unable to live a peaceful life. People from the residential committee often interrogated her, "Did you go out today? Did you go to his or her home?" Residential committee Party secretary Ji asked her, "Is Falun Gong good, or is the Chinese Communist Party good?" Ms. Chen Ling was held in a detention centre five years ago, owing to her practising Falun Gong. They handcuffed her, forced her to be photographed and provide her fingerprints. The mental torment she suffered was enormous. Her teeth all fell out and her hair turned white. Four generations in her family were affected. Her husband was frightened so badly that he could not eat anything. Her four-year-old old grandson got sick from fear of the police. Her neighbours said indignantly, "Such a nice lady was arrested and her home raided, just because of practising Falun Gong!"

On December 25th, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cai Changhe from the Shengli Residential Quarters in the Shunyi District of Beijing was arrested. On January 25th, 2008, police officers were spread all over the streets of Beijing. They stopped the incoming and outgoing cars and requested all passengers get out and show them their IDs. Their aggressive behaviour caused panic in Beijing. With the 2008 Olympics coming, the Chinese Communist Party still persecutes and arrests Falun Dafa practitioners on a large scale, which really causes social turbulence. Their ugly atrocities violate the spirit of harmony, friendship and unity, which the Olympics promotes.

Mr. Wang Hongshu is a 50-year-old practitioner. At about 5 a.m. on January 17th, 2008, when he was on his way to his sister's home he was intercepted by a car without any licence plate. There were two people in the car. They did not show any ID and were not in police uniform. After they discovered that Mr. Wang was a Falun Gong practitioner, they dragged him against his will and tried to force him into the car. Mr. Wang tried to inform them about the true nature of Falun Gong. They said, "Do not talk with us about this. We must seize you." Mr. Wang refused to cooperate with them, so they beat him savagely. As a result, one of Mr. Wang's front teeth was knocked out, and another became loose, his face became blue and purple and his left eye filled with an abnormally large amount of blood.

Mr. Zhou Jingchen has been detained seven times, and was twice sent to forced labour camps, becuase he continued to practise Falun Gong. Mr. Zhou was tortured by police officers, including beating him for five days in a row, cuffing his hands behind his back, hanging him upside down, and dousing him with freezing cold water and then directing fans toward him. He was so brutally beaten that his skin turned black and purple and his body was swollen. He was forced into a straight jacket, and locked up in a small cell. His hands were tied with ropes so tightly that they went numb. In another term of detention, he was handcuffed to a bed for ten days, bound with straps to a bed for three months, and force fed for 500 days.

Ms. Wang Ping, in her 40s, is a customer service representative for the railway scale at the Shuanghuan Company. Persecutors nabbed her at work the morning of June 13th, 2001. Chen Jing, Qiu Xianbo and another person from the Xinji Police Station tried to force her to make a confession that night. They beat her the whole night with wire clothes hangers and electric batons. Her head was swollen from the beatings; one of her arms sustained a four-inch-long cut that bled; other injuries on her body also bled. The next day the police took Ms. Wang Ping to the Yinching City First Detention Centre.

My name is Li Linghui. I'm 12 years old and a middle school student. I used to have a happy and peaceful family life. My father and mother persisted in practising Falun Gong after the persecution began, not wanting to give up their faith in Truth-Compassion-Tolerance. Because of this, the police showed up one day and smashed the main house gate, and arrested my father and mother on December 25th, 2007. I saw my father had been pushed down to the ground by two policemen, and both of his hands were tied behind his back. Then, with a loud "bang", the door of my room was smashed and two policemen rushed in. They grabbed my mother by her shoulders and dragged her out of the living room. I witnessed this persecution with my own eyes.

On the afternoon of January 30th, 2008, the police arrested 61-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Zhou Jingchun. Mr. Zhou has suffered repeated persecution at the hands of the police because he persists in practising Falun Gong. In September 2004, Mr. Zhou was forcibly arrested by police. They brutally tortured Mr. Zhou and beat him in turn until he fell to the ground and could not stand up.

Practitioner Li Donghong was monitored by two drug addict inmates. They took turns sleeping on the cement bed and took turns torturing Mr. Li. He had to stand for 24 hours and was not allowed to go to sleep or sit down for a break. The inmates would beat him if he closed his eyes as he stood. The guards in the labour camp boasted that they had more than a hundred vicious methods they could use to persecute and torture practitioners, such as severe beatings, forcing practitioners to eat faeces and spit, and burning their eyes with high power light bulbs. In the severe cold of winter they would force practitioners to stand outside without wearing any clothes. During the hot summer days, they forced practitioners to run in winter coats.

Mr. Wu Renhui, 40, is a teacher. On January 16th, 2008, Mr. Wu was arrested for the third time, leaving his mother, wife, and child at home. The authorities demanded that he give up cultivation and provide other practitioners' names and information. After Mr. Wu refused, they sentenced him to two years of forced labour and took him to the Guizhou Province Zhongba Forced Labour Camp. His mother and wife are both unemployed.

73-year-old Ms. Chen Ling was unable to live a peaceful life. Persons from the residential committee often interrogated her, "Did you go out today? Did you go to his or her home?" Ms. Li Xiumin, a Falun Gong practitioner from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province was arrested and has been detained by the local Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities for eight months. She is now suffering from a tumour in her uterus. Li Xiumin was sentenced to five years of imprisonment by judge Ding Hong from Xinhua District Court, with the 610 Office controlling the court behind the scenes. Li Xiumin appealed to the Shijiazhuang Intermediate Court. The judge of the No.2 Criminal Court, Wang Yingchen, has been refusing the request for Li Xiumin to obtain a guarantor, forcing her to await trial while in custody, despite the fact that her life is in danger with each passing day.

On January 15th, 2008, the chief of police and head of the 610 Office in Baishan City, Jilin Province, instructed eight policemen to drive two police vehicles to Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lin Daihong's home, and break into her home to arrest her for the second time. Ms. Lin had previously already been tortured to the point of critical condition in Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp and had not yet recovered. She was taken directly to the labour camp again.

On January 25th, policemen from the National Security Bureau of the Jidong County Police Department, Heilongjiang Province, burst into the home of 36-year-old Mr. Zhang Minghui. Disregarding the safety of the older people and a baby, who was just a couple of months old, they grabbed personal property and took Mr. Zhang away to the police station. Mr. Zhang's wife saw her husband being humiliated and beaten by the police and tried to help him, but the police officers stopped her.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Jin was taken away by the Fengxian District, Shanghai City police, known for its evil ways. This is the second time she has been persecuted since she was sent to prison for four years. Now she's detained in the Fengxian District Detention Centre. Fengxian Police Station and Haiwan Police Substation participated in this action together. They sent two police cars to abduct Liu Jin, and ransacked her home so that it looked like a robbery took place, stealing 20,000 yuan. They also took other private property like a laptop, printer--including IDs, a bank card etc. They even took the battery from her family car.

Plainclothes policemen from Tangshan City broke into the home of Falun Gong practitioners Zhang Zongsu and Li Guocai and ransacked it. They arrested the elderly couple and their non-practitioner son and confiscated their computer and printer. Ms. Zhang Zongsu did not cooperate with the persecutors' orders to strip off her clothes. The police used various means to torture her. They violently beat her, did not allow her to sleep, handcuffed her, forced her to wear shackles and force-fed her. As a result of the torture, there were two big holes on her lower legs from the shackles. When they force-fed her, they knocked out her two incisors. She was unable to take care of herself for half a month.

Ms. Li Yumei has been arrested twice and detained three times because she believes in Falun Dafa. On June 28th, 2007, Ms. Li was arrested and brutally beaten by National Security Division officials. When her daughter, Ms. Zhao Yunfei, tried to stop the men from beating her mother, she was also arrested and detained for 15 days. Agents from the Wanquan County Political and Judiciary Committees, the police, and the procuratorate and court officials all colluded to sentence Ms. Li Yumei to six years in prison. On December 27th, 2007, she was taken to the Luquan Women's Prison in Shijiazhuang City.

It has been reported that Saertu Court officials in Daiqing City secretly sentenced three Falun Gong practitioners to incarceration, including Liu Zhigao, Yang Jinfeng and Yin Guirong. The sentences given were seven years for Mr. Liu, detained at unknown location, and three and a half years each for Ms. Yang and Ms. Yin, who are both incarcerated at Harbin City Women's Prison. After arresting him, the police used various methods of torture on Mr. Liu. The persecutors had severely burned his oesophagus and stomach by force-feeding him mustard oil, and as a result he lost his ability to eat. He became emaciated and almost died.

Recently, claiming that they were "eliminating activities that spread negative propaganda," Shandong Province 610 Office personnel tried to stop Falun Gong practitioners from distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and telling people the facts about Falun Gong. At the same time, Shan County of Hezhe City was classified as one of the important counties to be singled out for persecution by the Shandong Province Police Department and Hezhe City Police Department. The police sent special groups from the provincial and city police departments to Shan County for reinforcements and to focus on destroying sites producing leaflets exposing the persecution.

On the morning of September 27th, 2007, police forced their way into the home of Mr. Han Changgui and confiscated his family's property. They beat Mr. Han Changgui's teenage daughter, Han Hui. After the brutal attack, they apprehended Mr. Han Changgui and took him to the Detention Centre of Baoqing County. Mr. Han was locked in a small cell in the detention centre. The cell was so small that he could not stand up or sit down--he could only squat. After enduring this torture for over 40 days, Mr. Han was finally released.

On December 23rd, 2007, Mr. Zhang Xuanshou, a 69-year-old retired man from Dayuan Village of Guanjiazui in Qidong along with Mr. Luo Guangzhong, also a 69-year-old practitioner from the same area, were taking a bus to go home. To buy the bus tickets, they used money on which was written facts regarding the persecution of Dafa. The ticket seller then reported them to authorities. Mr. Zhang and Mr. Luo were later arrested by Shaoyang police officers. The police confiscated electronic equipment and 1,800 yuan.

On May 1st, 2007, when Ms. Huang Xingyao, 44, was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution about the persecution of Falun Gong, four policemen followed, arrested, and detained her at the local detention centre for over seven months. Although her father hired a defence lawyer for her, the court still sentenced her to three years in prison.

On July 3rd, Falun Gong practitioner Xue Lijun, a doctor at Mian County Gynaecology Hospital, was reported to the police and arrested by the National Security Group of Mian County Police Station. On September 9th, Falun Gong practitioners Wang Miao and Liu Cuiying were arrested while distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and telling people the facts about Falun Gong. The police later arrested Falun Gong practitioners Xie Hongxia and Cui Xiaomei. The police ransacked their homes, detained them and extorted two thousand yuan from them. In September, Zhao Xia was reported for distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. Xia was hung by handcuffs and beaten by the police day after day.

On January 8th, 2008, Liu Jing went to the National Security Team of the Sanhe City Police Department to enquire about the situation of her mother, Yang Huirong. Her mother had been arrested by the National Security Team a couple of days earlier. On the night of January 2nd, 2008, Ms. Yang Huirong, in her 60s, and Ms. Wang Lanhua, in her 40s, were taken away. Liu Jing intended to take her mother home. However, Liu Jing herself was detained. Then the police from the National Security Team ransacked her home and searched her mother's home again.

On October 18th, 2007, when Falun Dafa practitioner Zhu Guilin was going downstairs in her home, 610 Office agents, who had been waiting downstairs, grabbed her and dragged her down. Zhu Guilin's clothes were torn and her upper body was exposed. Zhu Guilin shouted that officials were arresting an innocent person. A number of bystanders witnessed the arrest, and many of them denounced the officials' conduct. In spite of sharp criticism from the bystanders and the protest of her family, these people forcibly took Zhu Guilin to the Changde City Brainwashing Centre. Zhu Guilin started a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was brutally force-fed.

On July 28th, 2007, police from the Dangbi Township Police Station arrested practitioners Mr. Zhang Chuanfu, 21, and Mr. Xue Yanrong, 33. Police officers not only extorted 5,000 yuan from the practitioners' families but also sent the practitioners to a forced labour camp. On October 17th, Mr. Zhang Chuanfu's father came to the police station and asked for permission to see his son. Han said, "They are gone." Zhang's father, "Why? Where did you send them? What law did he violate?" Han said, "He distributed Falun Gong flyers, and that was against the law. I have no idea where they were sent."

On December 17th, 2007, Mr. Liu Guiqing's home was surrounded by three police cars. Police forcefully dragged Mr. Liu Guiqing on to the street and put him into a police car. The police also attempted to kidnap Mr. Liu Guiqing's wife. Mr. Liu's wife argued strongly and interrogated them, "I have not violated any laws. Why do you try to arrest people illegally?" She held the door-frame and would not let them bring her away. After they confiscated their Falun Gong leaflets they detained Mr. Liu. Currently, Mr. Liu is still imprisoned in the Dehui Municipal Detention Centre.

On the evening of January 2nd, 2008, Ms. Yang Huirong, in her 60s, and Ms. Wang Lanhua, in her 40s, from Sanhe City, Hebei Province, were arrested by local authorities. On the morning of January 3rd, Ms. Yang's home was ransacked, and her MP3 player, her tape recorder, and Falun Gong books were confiscated. The two women were taken to Sanhe City Detention Centre. Previously, Ms. Yang's daughter, Liu Ying, also a Falun Gong practitioner, became mentally ill and jumped off a building after being brainwashed.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Han Guangrong is 63 years old. She suffered from several chronic illnesses that disappeared within several months of practising Falun Gong. Ever since, she was determined to be a good person and live by Falun Dafa's principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." However, over the past 8 years, government officials have ransacked her home, arrested her, sentenced her to forced labour camps and prison, and withheld her pension. These perpetrators often harassed and monitored her. Now, Ms. Han has been arrested again. Her continuous suffering has brought great pressure to her entire family.

38-year-old Ms. Li Hui, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was arrested but then escaped on April 25th, 2007. Afterwards, she was arrested once again and taken to Daqing Detention Centre on September 20th. It has been over three months since her arrest. Police took turns torturing her cruelly for several days and as a result she suffered third degree burns. They forced her to sit in an Iron Chair and did not allow her to sleep for several days. According to inside sources, the Saertu Public Security Bureau authorities refuse to release her and they have attempted to bring accusations to sentence her. Her husband divorced her due to the long term economic and mental pressure from the CCP.

Just before October 1st (China's National Day holiday), Liqingu Town police barged into Ms. Xu Tongyan's home, confiscated her family property, arrested her, and took her to the police station. That night she was hung up and beaten by police officers while she was handcuffed. Later, she escaped. Liqingu Town head deceived her family and said, "Have her come home. We guarantee it will be all right." Her family members believed him, so Ms. Xu was found, and she returned home. The Liqingu Town police promptly arrested her and still have her in detention.

On November 29th, 2007, two groups of police from the Shuozhou City Police Department, Shanxi Province, were sent to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. One group arrested Ms. Ma Ruizhen, who lives in the family compound of the city's party commission. The other group arrested Ms. Zhu Cuiying, who lives in the family compound of the Shuocheng District Bureau of Industry and Commerce. The police ransacked their homes, took away their computers, printers, and other personal items. Ms. Ma Ruizhen and Ms. Zhu Cuiying are now imprisoned at the Shuocheng District Detention Centre in Shuozhou City.

On the evening of November 2nd, 2007, mass arrests of Falun Gong practitioners took place in Anqui City. The police forced open the doors or windows of practitioners' homes, arrested people and seized private belongings. Arrested female practitioners are currently being held at the Anqiu City Detention Centre. A 15-square-metre cell holds 31 people, 21 of whom are practitioners. In the morning they are made to drink dirty dish water, at lunchtime they are given old vegetable leaves boiled in salt water and rancid pickles, and in the evening they have to crowd themselves together on the damp, cold floor. The space is so tight that they can barely turn over.

Ms. Yang Guozheng, 58 years old, is a resident of Songnan Road in Qijiang County. Yang Guozheng suffered all kinds of persecution, including detention, extortion of money and having her house ransacked and property confiscated. Her younger daughter, Wang Jirong, was persecuted until she died. In March 2004, police ransacked her home, arrested her and detained her in the Country Detention Centre for 30 days.

51-year-old Ms. Zhu Guoying, a Falun Gong practitioner, was taken from her home by local police on December 2nd, 2007. Without showing any ID, they only claimed that someone had reported Ms. Zhu for speaking about the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong, and they said they had received orders from upper management to arrest her. In fact, this was just an excuse. The truth is that, with the year end approaching, they wanted to extort some money. Accompanied by relatives, her mother went to appeal but was threatened by official personnel.

On September 15th, 2007, eleven Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested when they were distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners were all held in the Huitong County Detention Centre. Three older practitioners, 82-year-old Nie Yuanxin, 70-year-old Zuo Shuying, and 60-year-old Nie Guixiang, returned home after they had five to ten thousand yuan extorted from them. The other eight practitioners were sentenced to between three and seven years in prison by Huitong County Court.

Ms. Li Yumei has been arrested twice and detained three times because she believes in Falun Dafa. On June 28th, 2007, Ms. Li was arrested and brutally beaten by National Security Division officers. When her daughter, Ms. Zhao Yunfei, tried to stop the men from beating her mother, she was also arrested and detained for 15 days. Agents from the Wanquan County Political and Judiciary Committees, the police, and the procuratorate and court officials all colluded to sentence Ms. Li Yumei to six years in prison. On December 27th, she was taken to the Luquan Women's Prison in Shijiazhuang City.

Mr. Zhou Xiaobo, 31 years old, was a physician at Tangxiao Town Hospital in Rui'an City, Zhejiang Province. On November 7th, 2007, he was arrested by police from the local 610 Office and his home was ransacked. Two officers kept Dr. Zhou on the first floor in order to prevent him from intervening. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and a flash drive. The policemen took pictures of his home. After searching, they told Dr. Zhou to sign an arrest warrant attached to a search warrant. They recorded everything that they confiscated. There was no signature on the warrants, which could very well have been forged.

After July 20th, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began forcing Falun Gong practitioners to give up their belief. The CCP imprisoned perfectly healthy and mentally stable practitioners in mental hospitals and drug rehabilitation centres. Most of the practitioners were injected and force-fed drugs and chemicals that damaged their nervous systems. Some of damage has resulted in blindness, deafness, palsy, amnesia, mental disorders, injury to the digestive system and death. Ms. Lu Xiuli, a 59-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner, was arrested when she was distributing leaflets exposing the persecution and telling people the facts about Falun Gong in November 2007. She was sent to a mental hospital in Shanghai to undergo persecution and brainwashing.

From August 30th to September 6th, 2007, police officers arrested nine Falun Gong practitioners from Yakeshi City. Practitioner Min Daqing, a 26-year-old employee of the Yitie Electricity Department, was arrested at his workplace. The police confiscated the computer he was using at his workplace. The leaders at his workplace tried to stop the police from taking the computer, but the police forcibly took it away. After this incident, people at his workplace all said that this group of policemen were criminals. Later on, the police broke into Min Daqing's home to confiscate his private computer and Dafa books. Before leaving, they also took 1,300 yuan of his family's money. He has been sentenced to forced labour.
