"From today on, overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all important government or CCP officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong and as a result, commit new crimes in addition to those they have already perpetrated against Falun Gong."

Chinese people in the Netherlands held activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year outside the city hall in The Hague. Falun Gong practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises at the gate of the city hall, showed people the goodness of Falun Gong and wished people a happy Chinese New Year.

Mr. Tang Jian was an excellent teacher. Because he refused to give up his belief in Falun Gong, he was sent to a forced labour camp. His face was covered with injuries caused by burning cigarettes. Each time before he had a bath, the prison guards beat him brutally so that his skin was broken and his muscles were smashed. Then they filled the bath tub with salty hot water and ordered criminal prisoners to hold him in the water so that he could not stand up. Mr. Tang still refused to give up his belief in Falun Gong. As a result, he died of the long term torture when he was only 39 years old, leaving his young wife and a young child.

Communist regime agents are still persecuting Dafa practitioners. On May 20th, 2005, they held another brainwashing session and arrested nearly 200 practitioners. They physically tortured and mentally tormented them. These corrupt officials forced the practitioners to read articles that slander Dafa and also to watch videos of the same slanderous content. They threatened and intimidated the practitioners that they would only be released if they write guarantee statements to renounce Falun Dafa. If the refused, they would be directly sent to labour camps or prisons.

Mr. Yan Yong'an, 70 years old, had been repeatedly harassed, threatened, fined, and had his home ransacked by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials from the district, township and village and also by police officers that went to his house. His wife was also arrested and tortured for exposing the persecution of Falun Dafa. The psychological torture he suffered cannot be put into words. He gradually developed illness symptoms. Sadly, Mr. Yan passed away on December 10th, 2005.

Ms. Wang Kailan, over 40 years old, was formerly a senior nurse at a hospital. She was dismissed from her job in 2000 because she was a Falun Gong practitioner. In 2001, Ms. Wang was sent to forced labour for one year, which was later extended to another year. While in the Shayang Forced Labour Camp, all ten of her fingers were nailed to the wall. Her whole body turned black and blue. She regained consciousness after they poured cold water on her body. As a result of the abuse she experienced at the labour camp, Ms. Wang could not sleep while lying on her back and had to sleep on her stomach.

My heart sunk. I thought, "How can these innocent peasant women possibly endure such anguish that brought them physical devastation, tremendous mental pressure and mental trauma that will probably scar them for life. On top of this, how could they possibly endure the reprisals from the wicked Chinese Communist Party for exposing its crimes?"

On Chinese New Year's Eve, citizens in Macau have a custom of visiting the flower market, in hopes of bringing good fortune to themselves. Falun Gong practitioners took this opportunity to bring the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa to the general public by distributed balloons with the words like "Falun Dafa is Great."

Human rights lawyer Bernard Collaery has told the ACT Supreme Court that restricting the rights of Falun Gong practitioners to peacefully protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Canberra affects the rights of all Australians to demonstrate.

The school officials summoned the roommate, searched the room, and found the gold. Zhang Zhichang realised that if he claimed the gold was his, his roommate would certainly be punished. In addition, in the eyes of the masses, his roommate would be terribly shamed. Accordingly, he said, "That is not my gold."
