This seminar was held in the Munich Philosophy University in the evening of December 12th. This was the second seminar on China’s political and economic issues in Munich. The seminar was jointly organised by the International Human Rights Association and German Epoch Times.

Falun Gong practitioners in Sandnes and Stavanger held the Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition at Sandnes Kulturhus (a public building which houses a collection of different kinds of art) on December 16th. It was a unique opportunity to expose the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China

The police tortured Ma Wensheng with the method known as "the big hang-up", among other methods. They beat Ma Wensheng until his legs were broken and his body became deformed. On the morning of October 20th, the police told Ma Wensheng's brother that Ma Wensheng was hospitalized in the Qiqihar City Railroad Hospital. His brother saw an unconscious Ma Wensheng at the hospital. He passed away before his brother could get food and soap, a towel and some other things for him.

53-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Long Lianqiu went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa twice during 2001. Police arrested her and detained her. During 2002, the police harassed her at home on numerous occasions, also arrested her and forced her to work with other prisoners for more than 12 hours a day. She became ill because of this inhumane treatment. Later police took her to a brainwashing centre. After receiving brutal treatment, she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and developed hemiplegia. She finally died on September 11th, 2005.

Ms. Cui Wenxia, 45, is from Baoquanling, Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province. She was arrested in April 2005 and jailed in a local detention centre. In May 2005, she was sent to the Seventh Team of the Fifth Division in Jiamusi Forced Labour Camp. In July and August, she and a 64-year-old practitioner, Ms. Sun Shuzhi, were forced by policemen to carry practitioner Ms. Niu Yuhuan. This practitioner had been so severely tortured that she could not walk by herself.

71-Year-Old Mr. Lai Changming was arrested in October 2000 while he was on his way to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. Police sent him to Xinzhou Detention Centre and forced him to go to the Liuji Brainwashing Centre at a cost of over 3000 yuan. After he returned home, local policemen and other perpetrators frequently came to his home to harass and threaten him, keeping him from his practice of Falun Gong. He died in 2005.

In 2000, Mr. Bai and his wife went to Beijing to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong. As soon as they returned to their home, the police arrested them and left behind their little girl, Bai He, who had not yet turned five at the time. The girl called out for her mum and dad in a panic, "Mummy, Daddy," but the police ignored her pleas. They arrested Bai He's parents and took them away. The neighbours did not dare to help out, except for another Falun Gong practitioner, W, who quietly took the child home. The police came and yelled at W, "Give up the child right now, or I will arrest you." The police indeed arrested W and sent her to a labour camp, falsely charging her with "disturbing the social order."

Actually, the gist of a "Political Investigation" concerns itself primarily with recent political policy. Through political investigations, the authorities keep every person under their control and brainwash every single person with their "politics" and "policies." The Chinese Communist Party's politics are savage and cruel. Their policies change all the time. They not only want to control the natural environment but also want to control people's thinking.

Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

The visitors to the exhibition included people from Australia, Germany, New Zealand, as well as Chinese tourists and students. Many of them knew about the persecution of Falun Gong, but still felt it hard to believe that a regime could so completely stifle people's freedom. Many visitors left messages in the visitors' book such as, "Shocking! Too unfair!"
