"We use up our small salaries and savings to make truth-clarification fliers and CDs. We brave the danger of being persecuted by you to send those materials to so many people, including you. Our goal is to give you another opportunity to learn what Falun Dafa really is, to rethink about the persecution, to reflect on your own words, actions and thoughts towards the persecution during the past three years."

"I became aware of the plight of these courageous people when my sixteen year old son signed a petition in our market place. Knowing his keen sense of justice, I just signed it too and took a pamphlet away to read later. Upon reflection, doing just that in a supermarket queue was not too wise for when I read about the mother and her child, I was almost sick, there and then."

A Falun Dafa practitioner from Wulanbai Township, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province was riding a public bus. Seeing an older woman standing on the bus, she yielded her seat to the older woman. The woman thanked her, and the Falun Dafa practitioner told her in a low voice, "Don't thank me, I practise Falun Gong. Our Teacher teaches us to be a good person wherever we go, and this is what I should do."

Guo Yu was from Guanghan County in the Eastern Han Dynasty, which is known today as Xindou County or Guanghan County in Sichuan province. He was the most famous medical doctor during the reign of Emperor He in the Han Dynasty.

"The International Education and Development Organisation said on August 14 2001 at a United Nations conference, that "The Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation was staged by the Chinese government." Now, the whole world knows about this. But, what answer have we received from the Chinese government?"

On November 15 2002, Li Chenchang presided and founded the so-called "Spanish Overseas Chinese Anti-Evil Religion Organisation" and did his utmost to slander Falun Dafa. After a week, Li was suddenly hospitalised. Prior to this time, Li was very healthy and had been a personal bodyguard. He returned to China after he left the hospital. He died suddenly from an attack of brain cancer less than two months after he set up his Organisation.

While we were distributing the truth-clarifying VCD’s, a well-known PhD engineer talked to us. He recalled that he felt nervous and afraid when he received our leaflets and newspapers one year ago. However, he knew the truth now. He said that the cultures of other countries could barely be compared with the Chinese culture. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is the essence of Chinese culture.

Even more unexpectedly, while I was in the detention centre I met the Falun Gong practitioner whose office I had ransacked. He did not recognise me, but I knew him because I had seen his photo, and I also know his full name. So I quietly observed every move and word that he made but found his behaviour to be excellent.

Wild ginseng is found in northeastern China. The remote Changbai Mountain in Jilin Province is especially well-known for growing wild ginseng roots that are hundreds or even thousands of years old. But the legend has it that the real hometown of ginseng is Shandong, not northeastern China. The following is its story.

As the persecution intensified, to protect his political career, this practitioner's father threatened to put his son in jail if he didn't give up his belief in Falun Gong. Having no choice, the practitioner left home and went on a very difficult journey to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to others, with only a few hundred Yuan in his pocket, a backpack full of truth-clarifying materials and a copy of Zhuan Falun.

Practitioners are withstanding the suffering silently. Please help them! Once they are detained, every one is inevitably sentenced to the forced labour camp or prison. Just for distributing flyers, they get sentences of one, two, or three years in a forced labour camp. It is a much harsher punishment than criminals receive.

Once upon a time, when God had seen how the people had turned away from their evil deeds, he changed his mind about the calamity he had prepared and kept the inevitable disaster from them.

She started to yell and curse at me without any reason. This time I no longer tolerated it passively. I stood up calmly while everyone was sitting down. I seriously and firmly said to her, "Don't think that because I practise Zhen, Shen, Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance,) you can let your evil side go wild! Falun Dafa practitioners' compassion is mighty and solemn."

Jiang does not spare even children and the elderly in his persecution of these innocent, good people. His cruel nature speaks for itself. On December 23 2002, Jiang was sued in US federal court, accused of genocide, a crime against humanity. An international organisation recently formed to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong has just begun taking the steps necessary to bring the criminals to justice.

Dafa practitioners from a city in Northeast China successfully broadcast a program about the truth of the "Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation" on cable TV in a residential area, exposing the deception of the incident. The program lasted more than 30 minutes, covered all the channels on cable TV, and caused an enormous sensation among the people. The city's Public Security Bureau is panic-stricken and is planning to carry out mass arrests of Dafa practitioners soon.

Through reading the books of Falun Dafa my compassion became greater, and as I understood more and more about letting go of sentimental attachments, I found that what replaced them was a simpler, more genuine compassion which could not be affected by how others treated me and which would not come and go with the passing of my emotions. I learnt to take my own feelings more lightly and to consider others’ feelings more carefully in my words and actions.

I have found a cultivation way superior to what I had learned from before. Whoever practises Falun Gong feels peaceful, relaxed and can always treat others kindly. They open their minds and are in complete control of their lives. To me, this is the magic of Falun Gong. It is said that the great way is extremely simple and easy. That is what I understand Falun Gong to be!

Recently I chatted with the 78-year-old father of my landlord. The gentleman said, "I spend most of the day watching TV. The more I watch it, the more confused I get. The TV says that Falun Gong is bad, but they are never able to tell any real facts about why Falun Gong is bad." I said those reports are 100% false.

I am practitioner of Falun Dafa. What I did was meant to tell society: In this world filled with lies, wickedness and violence, Dafa practitioners, still have high moral standards for their conduct.

The next day, I related this small incident to my husband, who is not a practitioner, and he was really moved by it just like I had been. He said that it would have been much better if I had offered her all of my meal. Later that evening, I spotted my husband picking up his English version of "Zhuan Falun", which till then had been left there unread for a long time.

He saw that Teacher's home was in a very common residential building, and the door had been sealed by the police. He said, "CCTV said that your Teacher owns a villa. What absolute nonsense. It's not like that at all." While saying good-bye, he told me again, "Your Teacher's former apartment is really very ordinary."

When I saw a green light a long way off, I would quickly accelerate for fear of the lights changing to red and I would have to stop. I always worried that there might be traffic congestion ahead, and hesitated as to whether I should change lanes. If someone went against the rules and this overtook me, my heart burned with uncontrollable anger. After studying the Fa [principles of Falun Gong], I realized these shortcomings, but it was difficult to overcome them all at once...

You may ask, “Why isn’t a patient in an emergency situation sent to an emergency room, instead of to a Chinese medicine doctor who can only inspect the tongue and read the pulses? Does this not endanger the patient’s life?” People usually misunderstand that Chinese medicine is capable of only treating and curing chronic illnesses.

This person now knows the truth. After searching, he saw the deception and manipulation with his own eyes. Now he is taking a stand for justice and telling the truth he learnt...from his own heart, he is letting people know the truth.

The following are several comments that were contained in a letter from my friend. Whilst I read the letter, I thought that it is indeed just as Teacher Li has said, "The lie-spreading propaganda machine will no longer be able to employ demagoguery." As we progress further in clarifying the truth, everyday people are able to see the truth about Falun Gong even more clearly.

"Those who abuse their authority and consider themselves above the law, by administering yet abusing the law are the guilty ones. How can practitioners be guilty for revealing the truth to the public? What kind of guilt is that? Maybe the law does not currently punish your evil deeds because of your power and influence. However, there is justice in this world. Those who have done wrong deeds will surely suffer the consequences.”

I recently overheard a neighbour disciplining a child. When the child wasn't listening, the parent said, "If you keep behaving so badly you won't make it to heaven." Although the child was naughty, he knew that Falun Gong is good. He said confidently, "As long as I do not persecute Falun Dafa, I can still go to heaven."

"When my husband arrived home from work, he saw colourful banners everywhere in our home and said, "You guys keep working hard. I will cook dinner for you." We made more than a thousand banners that evening until late at night. He helped cleaning up until even later."

One day before Christmas, the policeman on duty in front of the Embassy came to talk with me for more than an hour. He said, "I’ve seen the material on the posters and I support you." He signed the petition and said, "What a wonderful thing to calm down and think of others. This Christmas, I will also arrange some time to sit down and think of others."

On November 4th, the Ministry of State Security in Beijing secretly arrested my fiancée. So far we have no idea of her whereabouts and I am very concerned for her safety. I am aware that the police in China will do anything under Jiang’s orders. Today when I am being awarded my doctorate, I call on all people around the world to urge China to promptly stop the persecution of Falun Gong and to unconditionally release all Falun Gong practitioners, including my fiancée.

'What Falun Gong practitioners believe in is Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. Even though they are physically persecuted, they still show mercy to encourage people to be good without complaint or hatred. If you can really be sorry for your wrongdoings and make a fresh start from the bottom of your heart by developing good thoughts, a bright future will await you.'

A Canadian practitioner lives in a house diagonally across from the Chinese Consulate and frequently goes to the Chinese Consulate to chat with the staff there so as to clarify the truth about the persecution.

A practitioner encounters Traditional Chinese Medicine repeatedly, even in western medicine school, but not until years later does he begin to understand its true role in healing and what it might possibly take to really be a good doctor of Chinese medicine.

The writer had suffered from severe, difficult and complicated illnesses. However, only a few months after she began to practise Falun Dafa, she made a full and miraculous recovery.

'I cannot understand why Jiang Zemin and his gang would be so reckless as to waste your country’s money and resources in trying to defame and persecute Falun Dafa, and in imprisoning and torturing good Chinese people...Falun Dafa is a very beautiful thing and I think Chinese people should treasure and cherish it.'

No matter how hard you try, you will never cover up your unforgivable actions. History has shown that those who commit such crimes do not get away with it. You may have forgotten what justice is, but the rest of the world has not forgotten, and is watching you and judging you.

“Just because we love our country, many practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, to clarify the truth to the government. Just because we love our country, we would not do anything against our conscience to deceive others and ourselves. Because of our love for millions of mothers who are like ours and because of our love for millions of children who are like ours, we uphold the principle of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We can not leave a world of falsehood and violence to our beloved mothers and children.”

I am a person who doesn't practice Falun Gong. I thought for a long time before writing this article. I wrote this because the words and deeds of the practitioners influenced me. This article is also a call from the bottom of my heart.

One student said: "If there's a chance, we should learn qigong." The other immediately said: "Then you should first study Falun Gong."

My deepest impression was the young policeman’s stubbornness...He had never read Zhuan Falun, but still hates Falun Gong! Still he didn't realise how the persecution has effected his thinking.

The doctor said angrily: "We doctors need to be responsible to our patients. Are you police responsible for the country? What's wrong with practising Falun Gong? Do not treat them in an extreme way. We are all Chinese, what is the good of this? How do foreigners see us?"

In the past, Xiaoshuang often initiated mischief against Dashuang, and Dashuang would not give any ground. Today however, when Xiaoshuang hit or pulled him, Dashuang would not hit back. I saw Xiaoshuang almost pull Dashuang off the bed, but Dashuang did not get angry.

I am 73 years old, and I came here to Australia to visit my daughter five months ago. In the past several months, I have been practising Falun Gong. It has been an unforgettable experience and I have benefited a lot from it.

Xiao Zhao is a simple and honest farmer who only has an elementary school education. After the Dafa material production site in the county was destroyed, there was quite a long period of time when our fellow practitioners living around the county could not read Minghui.net. The practitioners felt anxious because they could not obtain Dafa materials.

I feel that “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” is the source of courage and power. The three words include every component of a human life...This kind of being with dignity, compassion, and a sense of justice is needed in every environment. Being unyielding, but peaceful, this kind of being can change the circumstances around him, melt the accumulated hatred between people, resolve arguments, and rid the world of displeasure. The three words of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” contain the beauty that humans have been searching for.

Before I began to practise Falun Dafa, I suffered from various illnesses and hovered between life and death seven times between the age of 26 and 47. Because of my long time illnesses, the whole family suffered a lot. It was like living in hell and each day felt like a year. I called to heaven and earth, but got no response. Who could help me?
