The U.S. Consulate in China has written three letters to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ask for their help in finding my brother. The United Nations has recorded this as most urgent case. I really appreciate all people's kind help. Until now, we did not know any information about my brother, and we even do not know whether he is alive or dead.

I now know the truth about the "Falun Gong practitioners," whom the police told us to capture and bring to them. Falun Dafa practitioners are all good people. They don't hit back or curse back when they are hit and cursed at. They didn't say anything when we robbed them. We beat and captured nearly a thousand, if not more, Falun Dafa practitioners. They all said only a few sentences, "What you are doing is illegal and wrong" and "You are doing evil deeds and will be punished."

"Some 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners gathered in front of the State Council Appeals office, adjacent to Zhongnanhai, to present a petition to the government. They were merely requesting that the authorities return their legitimate right to practise Falun Gong and to release the practitioners who had been wrongly arrested. Why does it matter how many people are involved? In this world, a person should not be persecuted because of his/her own beliefs."

An eight-month old baby girl starved to death in Jiangsu Province, Yancheng City in June this year after police arrested her mother, a Falun Gong practitioner, and left the baby. According to a non-government source, a neighbour discovered this tragedy and alerted the police after seeing maggots from the baby's corpse crawling outside the gate.

Beneath the "Red Terror" of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), there are still officials in the party and government who secretly practise Falun Gong and who use pseudonyms to publish their resignations from the CCP. Many people have already left the CCP behind.

It is a pity that after several days I was compelled to leave home and become homeless because I wrote a letter to sue Jiang Zemin. Four months later I was illegally arrested and sent to a forced labour camp for two years. I have not seen the kindhearted policeman since, however, this matter always remains in my heart.

Yes, it is a shameful thing for a decent scholar to describe an incident, a person, or a politician as stupid. Yet this is the comment that those experts and scholars usually make after they learn the truth of the persecution. As a matter of fact, this persecution is not only just "stupid." The other word that people utter after they've learnt the truth is "evil."

Communist Party officials from China implicated in the persecution of Falun Gong, attending a business conference in Sydney, have been given a NSW Supreme Court summons on behalf of torture victim and Australian resident Ms. Yan Xie. She has also made a request to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) to investigate these officials under the obligations of Australian law.

From the Anti-Rightists movement to the Spies-movement and the 1959 starvation time to the Cultural Revolution, all instigated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), these movements have killed many millions of people! People knew what was happening, but they could not voice their opinions. The CCP is always saying, "We are helping the poor! We are taking care of senior citizen's daily needs!" However, I have not seen anyone that has been helped by the CCP and the CCP has not solved a single difficult situation for senior citizens.

The police then dragged her to the front gate of the municipal government building, poured gasoline on her and burned her to death. The police told the public that she set fire to herself. Wang Huajun had only one ear left. The back of her head, her back, and her lower body were not burned. On her throat, there were two deep cuts from a knife. People from her village who sent her body to be cremated saw her body, and said that she definitely did not die of self-immolation. The clumsy lie fabricated by the local government was full of loopholes.

According to his friends and other villagers, he often displayed strange behaviour when he was young. For instance, when his mental illness acted up all of a sudden, he would jump into a river for no reason at all. His speech seldom made sense, and everyone knew that he was a mental patient. Consequently, people who were aware of this fact were very angry after seeing the CCTV report that used Chen Fuzhao to smear Falun Gong.

We can say that the only purpose of this report is to mislead the general public, and to deceive people into thinking that Falun Dafa practise may lead practitioners to self-immolation. Falun Dafa teaches people to be good and forbids killing or suicide. The Minghui/Clearwisdom website has frequently pointed out that practitioners should remain rational and treasure their lives under all circumstances, no matter what the circumstances. Why have there not been any suicide or self-immolation incidents with Falun Dafa practitioners outside China?

During the course of cultivating "Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance" Falun Gong practitioners have made selfless efforts, and even sacrificed their own lives to save the people of the world in the face of the Chinese government's brutal persecution over the last six years. Reporting the cases of "good rewarded with good, and evil met with evil" is for the purpose of awakening those people who still don't know the facts about Falun Gong.

Just as he finished cooking breakfast, the police came. "Has your wife come home yet?" That was the first thing they asked. When the police saw the simple breakfast, they asked Mr. Yang, "Is that all you have for breakfast? You must have a difficult life." In face of the police's endless harassments, Mr. Yang told them indignantly, "What am I supposed to cook then? You have denied my family a chance for a normal life." The police could not utter a word in reply. They fled in shame.

The policy illustrates the murderous, demonic, and genocidal persecution that Falun Gong practitioners have been suffering from under the CCP. The CCP has been using a large number of different torture methods on Falun Gong practitioners. The tragic cases of torture are frightening. According to incomplete statistics, at the time of writing, more than 2,557 Falun Gong practitioners are known to have died in the hands of the CCP since it started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20th, 1999.

Australian Falun Gong practitioners have requested their government to block the entry of a visiting Chinese official who has been implicated in the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They have also said that if this official does enter Australia they will seek to have him subjected to criminal prosecution.

Heilongjiang Province Public Security Bureau issued a list of practitioners to officials in various regions, instructing them to arrest those on the list prior to the October 1st National Day. Many grassroots police officers complained openly. A police chief said plainly, "Don't we have better things to do? Why arrest those who practise Falun Gong?" One residential police officer asked, "Why is there a call for arrests of Falun Gong practitioners? What good does will this serve?"

My mother started practising Falun Dafa in 1999. She was first arrested and sent to forced labour at Xin'an Labour Camp in 2000 and was then released in 2001. I visited her there, and saw that she was very weak, that she had dramatically lost weight, and had bruises on her body. I could see she endured a living hell during her first forced labour term, and that is why I am feeling very worried right now.

In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution.

Those people who have learnt the truth about the persecution despite the environment of terror and persecution have also bravely stepped forward to oppose the persecution. Well-known Chinese civil rights attorney Gao Zhisheng said, "The persecution of Falun Gong is a persecution of the rule of law, of morality, of conscience, of justice, and of humanity. It is the choice of people's consciences to openly condemn the persecution and support the victims. On the other hand, silence is a shame. We all live in one family called the world.

Only three days later, which was the fifth day after she came across Falun Dafa, an even greater miracle happened. She could not only get out of bed to cook and wash clothes, but also walk around like a healthy person. Just over ten days later was wheat harvest time, and she rode a bike to the field to reap the winter wheat with her family. Her neighbours and all the villagers could not believe their eyes, and asked her how she was able to recover. She told them the process of starting to cultivate in Falun Dafa and finally told people, "Falun Dafa is wonderful and it is Falun Dafa that saved our whole family!"

During the past five thousand years, Chinese culture has been based on the semi-theistic civilisation of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. China has always been referred to as the “Land ruled by Heaven’s Laws” and “Divine Land” But during the last fifty-odd years when it has been under the dictatorial and autocratic rule of the evil Party, many evil things have occurred. What caused the evilness is not the natural environment or the climate of China, instead it is the inherently evil characteristics of the wicked Party.

All the school leaders present, including the principal in charge of political education and the homeroom teacher, tried to help the Falun Gong practitioner. As a result, the 610 Office people did not find any proof. In the end, the principal invited the 610 officials into his office and gave examples of how kind and hard-working the practitioner was. He also expressed his sympathy for the practitioner, who had been persecuted for over six years. The principal said, "Of the over 200 teachers and staff in the school, everyone thinks that the teacher is a good person."

Talking about the relationship between the persecution of Falun Gong and the U.S. Government, and explaining how the Chinese Communist Party regime uses cheap labour to rake in international capital and then utilises the money to persecute Falun Gong and trample on human rights, is very effective. It helps many people understand why Falun Gong practitioners continue to have a strong public presence on the streets of Manhattan.

Although I am living in the USA "where the sun shines brightly," my heart is always in China. I worry about my family, my fellow practitioners living in exile, my fellow practitioners being persecuted in prisons and labour camps, my fellow practitioners who are risking their lives going from door to door to let people learn the truth about Falun Gong, my compatriots who have not yet learnt the truth, because they are still travailing in the darkness before dawn.

On October 5th, 2005, sixteen Members of the United States Congress jointly wrote a letter to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to express the grave concern of the United States Congress regarding the Chinese government's systematic persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and its failure to protect religious freedom.

I held a hunger strike to protest. I hadn't done anything wrong so I refused to answer their questions. The police folded a soft-cover book and hit my head with it. They handcuffed my hands behind a chair and lifted my arms until the handcuffs cut into my wrists and blood oozed out. They stepped on my toes with their hard boots and ground them back and forth. They kicked my ankles and shins and struck my shins with three-inch thick metal bars. I gritted my teeth and refused to talk to them.

On October 12th, 2005, a Canadian MP, Mr. Jason Kenney, wrote a letter to the Chinese Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Lu Shumin, to convey his serious concerns regarding the continuing harassment and groundless detention of Mingli Lin by the Putuo District Detention Centre in Shanghai. In the letter, Mr. Kenney strongly urged that Mingli Lin be swiftly released and reunited with his wife.

When I speak to people in Mainland China about Falun Gong and the persecution, I find that people often use the arrests of protesters in other countries as excuses why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) should be allowed to persecute the people of China. They say that "all crows are just as black under the sky." If Western countries can arrest protesters, then it's all right for the CCP to abuse human rights. These Chinese people feel justified to be indifferent about this unprecedented persecution that is currently happening in China.

The announcement stated, "From today on, overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all important government or Chinese Communist Party officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong and as a result, commit new crimes in addition to those they have already perpetrated against Falun Gong."

Before long Tang Xiaohong, the prison guard in charge of the female cells, learnt about this and called the girl to her office. "You are not allowed to practise Falun Gong! If you continue I will handcuff you!" For the first time in years, the girl spoke very politely and sincerely, "Officer Tang, you know very well what kind of attitude I used to have and how bad a person I was before. You can see with your own eyes that I am really a different and much better person now. Why don't you let me practise?"

What Falun Gong practitioners have further revealed is the absolute cruelty in the Chinese laogai system that had previously evaded academic description. Hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been incarcerated in labour camps and detention centres. At great risk to their lives, these practitioners continue to send firsthand information on the torture, killing, and slave exploitation of prisoners throughout China.

My sister-in-law and I stood up. The driver and other by-standers moved the carriage and pulled my husband out. He breathed in for a while, and he felt pain in his legs. However, he still said that he is a Falun Dafa practitioner, and then he managed to get up himself. The by-standers were so surprised. They all said that learning Falun Gong is really good, and if this had happened to other people they would have died instantly.

Many people feel indifferent to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and think it has nothing to do with them. However, "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" is the law of the universe, including the whole world where human beings exist. How could one say the persecution of "Truthfulness, Compassion Forbearance" has nothing to do with him or her?

As accounts of atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners from within China continue, a respected Chinese lawyer has demanded an end to the "barbaric" persecution in an open letter sent to the Communist Party leaders, President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao on Wednesday October 19th.

Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by former president Jiang Zemin and his followers, they were pushed into persecuting those who practise Falun Dafa. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

A deputy mayor commented, "Falun Gong is an issue of belief. Those practitioners really believe in Falun Gong. This is not like the situation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)--nobody believes in it but no one dares to admit this in public. Furthermore, those Falun Gong practitioners are good people. Believe it or not, seems to me they are all better than CCP members."

This discovery, which sent shock waves across the astronomy community, prompted scientists to propose the theory that the expansion of the universe is accelerating. This theory was later validated in the research of background radiation of cosmos microwaves. Scientists remain puzzled about what factors have caused the universe to expand. They could only call this force "dark energy."

A high school teacher in a township in suburban Tianjin is a Falun Dafa practitioner. During his teaching he took the chance to let those around him learn the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution. When the parents of a student found out they reported this to the authorities. The secretary of the township's political and judiciary committee, who has become aware of the facts about Falun Gong, told the practitioner, "We in the township will definitely not report to higher authorities. The township will do all it can to protect Falun Dafa practitioners."

After much pushing and "persuasion," the director finally agreed to join the party. Just as the director was about to join the Party, he was asked to go overseas, so they had to wait for the director to come back before he could apply to join the Party. Nonetheless, when the director came back, he never brought up the issue of joining the Party. The department of the Communist Party Committee could do nothing but experience embarrassment.

According to reliable sources, some Chinese Communist Party (CCP) provincial level officials recently discussed withdrawing from the Party. Five of them openly applied to withdraw, and three of these five officials formally withdrew and even went through "educating work." Two of these three are officials working for the CCP Provincial Disciplinary and Inspection Committee. Many CCP members are using the excuse of temporarily disassociating from the CCP, which means they do not join CCP activities, do not pay membership fees, etc.

As a result of their efforts to inform them of the facts, the head of the police station, the instructor, the policemen and their families all understand the truth about Falun Gong. Some families also helped to inform him of the facts. Now when the head of the police station and the instructor get phone calls reporting Falun Gong, they tell the reporters, "Don't call us again. We no longer take care of Falun Gong matters."

The death of Meng Qingyan is a warning to all those who have persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. We advise you to immediately stop your evil acts before it's too late. Do not continue to commit such evils acts and harm others and yourself just for temporary profit. You must make a clear choice between good and evil, draw a clear distinction between right and wrong, and be responsible for your own life.

During the "October 1st" National Holiday, a police station in a city of Hunan Province received an order from higher ranks to ransack every Falun Gong practitioner's home. If any Falun Gong materials or the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party¹ were found, the practitioner was to be detained. However, many police officers who knew the truth treated Falun Gong practitioners reasonably during their visits. Even though they found Falun Gong materials or the Nine Commentaries, they just pretended to not see them.

I told her that 5 million people have resigned from the CCP and its related organisations. Some high-ranking Chinese officials also hurried to quit the party. I told her about how the communist Soviet Union collapsed overnight. She said that she was aware if this. I also mentioned the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and she said that she was aware of it as well.

Welcome to China! Welcome to Chongqing, an ancient land, to attend the Asia Pacific Cities Summit. The people of the Asia Pacific region held this grand conference to promote mutual understanding and the harmonious development between man and nature. However, behind the flowers and smiles, few people know that the persecution of universal belief and the violation of basic human rights continue. These violations have even increased just before the Asia Pacific Cities Summit.

However, with the lawsuits for torture, genocide, and crimes against humanity, these officials don't dare to leave China anymore. Their political futures are limited. Even though they are protected for now by Jiang Zemin and his gang, the situation is bound to change. For the officials facing lawsuits, their political future is failing, and they won't be able to move their wealth overseas. This is the best warning for the officials who participated in the persecution to gain political capital.
