The medical treatment cost him a lot of money and he suffered a lot of pain. All of these incidents forced him to look inward to see what was wrong. He said, "Actually, all Falun Dafa practitioners are very capable and work very hard. Their work colleagues all agree that they are good people. The authorities who persecute them are committing crimes. From the many examples we have, it seems that all deeds, whether kind or evil, really do generate rewards or retribution.

This act of terror has been resisted in some areas. Rank and file police in Harbin, Daqing and some other areas complained openly. One police chief said, "Aren't they running out of things to do? Why arrest those who practise Falun Gong?" One residential police officer condemned, "What's this arrest targeting Falun Gong about? What good does it serve?"

During the period from 2002 to 2003, when my parents were severely persecuted by the malicious Chinese Communist Party, we turned in all my parents' Falun Dafa books, Master's pictures and their Falun Dafa lecture tapes to the evil people persecuting us. We committed a big sin. We hereby declare that everything we did against Falun Dafa is null and void. We will use every means to tell people that Falun Dafa is good so as to make up for all the damage we have brought to Falun Dafa.

"Northerners or southerners, when they were first born, they cried in the same way, and they all desired to drink milk. As they have grown up, however, they have learnt different customs, formed different habits, and started to speak different languages. The dialects they speak often differ so much that they cannot understand each other even with an interpreter. Some people vow that they would rather die than live in the other region. Such a tremendous difference comes entirely from education and habit.

Police officers from the 610 Office arrived in police vehicles at the home of the director of a women's association to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. The director told them, "Our entire village believes in Falun Gong. If you think you can, take everybody away with you." When the officers brought up specific names of practitioners, the director said, "They are the best people in our village. You can't take a single one of them." The officers were discouraged and left.

Wang's mother is still alive, but the government will not allow her to leave China, he said. The reason the Chinese government is persecuting practitioners of Falun Dafa is due to the three principles the exercise is based on: truthfulness, compassion and tolerance, Wang said.

On October 4th, 2005, New Jersey State Senator Thomas H. Kean, Jr., Assemblyman Eric Munoz, M.D., and Assemblyman Jon M. Bramnick jointly wrote a letter to President Bush requesting that when President Bush visits China in October, he address the persecution of Falun Gong with Chinese leader Hu Jintao. They said: "It is of vital significance that these human rights abuses be adequately investigated and those responsible punished."

Later this police officer understood the truth and came to see Falun Dafa for what it truly is. He took the initiative to look for Falun Dafa practitioners in order to get hold of some Falun Dafa books saying, "Many people have said this Falun Dafa book is very good, so I also want to check it out." Before he left, he said, "In the future, please give me whatever materials you have and I will relay this information to others for you."

An elderly friend of mine, Uncle Wu, recently retired after having worked several decades. He was very happy to receive a large pension payment and started planning his retirement life. Uncle Wu read many reports about China’s economic prosperity in the Chinese media, so he was beguiled into going to China and using his retirement fund to invest in a business enterprise there. Although Uncle Wu is Chinese, he knew very little about Mainland China and could not make up his mind. Before he took a risk, he decided to pay me a visit and ask for my advice.

It wasn't until one day when this old engineer was critically ill and on the verge of death that he was eventually convinced. It was probably because of a being's instinct to save himself that he began self-reflecting and kept silently reciting, "Falun Dafa is good!" His health magically recovered as a result and he never believed the CCP's propaganda anymore after that.

Jiang, Luo and Zeng and their followers should have been put on trial long ago for the crimes they have committed against their country and people. However, they have chosen to close their eyes and cover their ears to the truth and to the fact that they will be brought to justice, and continue on their path to destruction. They still hope to completely suppress Falun Gong and are using the whole country's resources to cover up the persecution, hoping that their crimes will not be exposed before they expire.

The following is a document dated January 14th, 2005 that China's Ministry of National Security received from its 26th Bureau (City of Tianjin). The document concludes that the number of articles published in 2004 on minghui.ca (English version of Clearwisdom.net) website that are related to Tianjin totalled 304. "Overall the number of reports keeps rising. There were 55, 79, 73, and 97 Tianjin-related articles published on minghui.ca in the first, second, third, and fourth quarter of 2004, respectively.

Zeng Qinghong and Luo Gan are diehard followers of Jiang Zemin. They have played the role of thugs in the persecution of Falun Gong. One directed executing the persecution and another one planned it behind the scenes. After Jiang Zemin was forced to give up his power, Zeng Qinghong and Luo Gan were still in power and carried on the policies created specifically to persecute Falun Gong. They became Jiang Zemin's spokesmen among the political elite for the persecution .

In Shang Shu (also known as the Book of History), the author wrote: "Only virtue can move the heavens." In Han Shu (also called, History of the Early Han Dynasty): "Those who do good deeds secretly will be rewarded by heaven." Therefore, people taught their children not to do anything bad, but to do good deeds as much as they possible. Lesson One in how to be a human is to "plant a good seed, harvest a good fruit." In the Qing Dynasty, the children's book, Poems of Elementary School, stated, "Accumulating virtue leads to good fortune; dishonest conduct only makes your life more miserable."

Some people may argue that the abuse of the legal system detailed in The New York Times article was isolated to a few officials and is a "local symptom." Regardless of the validity of the argument in that specific instance, we know for a fact that the persecution of Falun Gong is carried out by the highest authorities of China and the entire legal system. If the international media pay closer attention to the situation of Falun Gong, people will have a deeper understanding of the terror caused by the legal system under the Chinese Communist Party's tyranny.

As a matter of fact, when the suppressors fell into an unprecedented deathtrap in persecuting Falun Gong in 2000, they already knew that if they could not prove the persecution was correct via extreme measures, and failed to succeed through mass murder, then the Falun Gong "issue" that they could not back down from would mean that they could face the consequences of being brought to trial. In reality, the Falun Gong "issue" has actually dominated the direction of China's political situation for several years, and this is also the fundamental cause for the rapid deterioration of the political climate in China.

It has been six years Since July of 1999, when the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China started. In the beginning, Chinese Communist Party officials who obeyed Jiang Zemin's orders to persecute Falun Gong were not fearful of any consequences of their evil acts. But now, they have begun to realise that they have to bear responsibility for all the consequences arising from their actions.

In addition to the distorted desire to intentionally cause pain to others forged over the Chinese Communist Party's long-term rule, the primary reason that Jiang Zemin and the party prohibit Falun Gong practitioners from leaving China is that they thought by keeping practitioners in China, the horrific crimes the party committed during the persecution would be hidden from the outside world.

In 1996, Mom started practising Falun Gong. Six months later, she was healthy as if she had been completely remolded. Her large eyes regained their lost splendour, and her complexion appeared rosy. Laughter and songs returned to our family. Mom was able to do all the household tasks and take good care of my father and me. That was the happiest period of time for our family. Mom was full of energy every day and capable of helping seniors who were sick at the homes of our relatives and friends. Father was so happy that he told everyone he encountered, "Falun Dafa is so good!"

According to a Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group report, Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions, Mr. Philip Alston, and Special Rapporteur on the Promotion and Protection of the Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression and Special Rapporteur on Torture spoke out against the persecution of Falun Gong.

Canada's Prime Minister Paul Martin raised the issue of the persecution of Falun Gong when he met with Hu Jintao on September 9th, 2005. Within two weeks, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Weixun was successfully rescued from China, thanks to further help from Friends of Falun Gong, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the US Congress, US State Department and some other NGOs. She obtained UN refugee status and was brought from Shenyang City to the US. She safely arrived on September 21st.

Falun Gong practitioners simply will not relinquish their belief in the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." They have no political agenda. Their very yearning for goodness scares the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which claims that China's human rights situation is now the best ever. However, the "best" by CCP standards only means that citizens have the right to survive. Basic human rights are in fact not protected in China.

He told the practitioner frankly: "Three days before you came, I was told they would send a Falun Gong person here. They asked me to treat you viciously if you were not already dead. Now I realise that Falun Gong teaches people to be good and is a righteous Law. I can tell you I have done all kinds of bad things, but I will not take part in persecuting Falun Gong. I would not be where I am today if I had known about Falun Gong earlier. If I have a chance, I will learn Falun Gong so that I too can be a good person."

In addition to human censors, all Web site-hosting services have also installed keywords filtering software. Posts on politically sensitive topics, such as Falun Gong, human rights, democracy, and Taiwan independence are routinely filtered. A list obtained by the Berkeley China Internet Project last year found that over 1,000 words, including "dictatorship," "truth," and "riot police" are automatically banned in China's online forums.

On September 21st, 2005, more than six years after the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Weixun was able to come to the United States as a refugee under protection by the United Nations High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR). Ms. Li does not have any family in the United States. This is not just a matter of Ms. Li beginning a new life in which she can freely practise her faith, but a statement by the international community of support for Falun Gong.

This irrational contempt of the court began with the illogical actions by the Hong Kong government in February 2003, when Hong Kong practitioners held an experience sharing conference. Eighty Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan travelled to Hong Kong to attend the event. Without explanation, the government barred all eighty practitioners from entering Hong Kong. This is an contemptible human rights violation by the Hong Kong government who behaved as a puppet of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

On September 21st, 2005, Ms. Li Weixun, a Falun Gong practitioner from Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province in China was successfully relocated to the United States. The effort involved the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), U.S.-based Friends of Falun Gong, U.S. State Department, U.S. Congress, and several NGOs.

On the second day, the village accountant passed by. He stopped his truck and said, "Thank you very much, Falun Gong practitioners! It has been a headache to pass this section. The ditch made it very hard to drive. If you go too fast, the bumper may be damaged. If you go too slowly the engine dies. If anyone comes again to arrest practitioners, we will help you and stop them." He then joined us in repairing the road.

China already has one of the most sophisticated systems in the world for censoring online content. Beijing employs Internet police, and uses high-tech equipment to block content the government considers immoral, such as pornography or politically sensitive, such as discussions of democracy, or the island of Taiwan.

Since then, the media throughout the world have regularly exposed the ugly behaviour of the CCP's spies outside of China. Many of these exposés have occurred during Falun Gong practitioners' activities worldwide. Examples include spies operating during France's Quitting CCP Month, which have been reported to the Federal Security Bureau. Some CCP spies have filmed activities in Perth, a remote city in Australia. These incident show that the monitoring, harassment and persecution of Falun Gong and dissidents overseas are incontestable facts, and also prove the CCP's evil nature.

He recalled, "Hu was walking in the front, and we followed him. I saw many people waving to Hu on the both sides of the street. They were mostly between 40 and 50 years old, with some older ladies. I was surprised to find that those people were all veteran police staff members that I knew, and they were not from the community. Because I knew them, I asked one of them, "Hi, How come you are here too?" He replied, "Oh, we were told to come here to welcome Hu." I asked him again, "Do you live here?" He said, "No way, do you think I've got the kind of money to live here?" Mr. Hao concluded to the audience at the forum that such phenomena are prevalent in China.

The hardships this Falun Gong practitioner has gone through are far greater than what I have just described. While I am writing this story, my heart is bleeding and I can barely muster the courage to continue writing his story. I am so ashamed of our country. Is this the way that our society treats those people who do not give up their beliefs? His belief is in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance! In the future if I have time, I will give a detailed account of how he and another Falun Gong practitioners were tortured.

The 610 Office, officially called, "The Leadership Team to Deal with the Falun Gong Problem," is an arm of the Communist Party system. Following the establishment of the Central Committee 610 Office, each province, city, county, and township has formed a corresponding organisation, which has full control over any issue that has to do with Falun Gong.

The world's affairs are numerous, complicated and ever-changing, people's lives are bittersweet and unpredictable. It is hard to live a smooth life as everyone wishes. As long as one lives, one's life is accompanied by the bitter and the sweet, the gathering and the parting. On the night of this Mid-Autumn Festival, the moon was full, bright, and at its best, but my heart was not. I looked at the sky and wandered under the lonely moon, my heart was filled with pain and anguish.

However once orders came down from upper levels, police arrived at their door, and members of the national security staff arrived, the evil of the communist part manifested in the people at the state-owned enterprises. Sometimes they were forced to help the evil to persecute practitioners. Sometimes they did not rationally understand or behave according to the law. Knowing that once practitioners were arrested they would face torture, detention, even loss of life, managers would still participate in the persecution for the sake of their own short-term interest. They have completely become puppets of the evil.

Not long ago, a site for studying the principles taught in Falun Gong in Northeast China was reported to the authorities. As a result, the local police strategically planned to illegally arrest the Falun Gong practitioners who were to attend. A young policeman by the name of "A" decided to warn the practitioners and gave the coordinator of the study site plenty of time to disperse the practitioners there. When the police arrived, the place was empty, not one out of the ten practitioners was arrested.

In early 2000, when her daughter was still in middle school, the school organised a public event for the purpose of slandering Falun Dafa and ordered the students to participate by writing essays criticising the practice. The mother told her daughter, "We cannot write that. If the school asks why you don't have it, tell them that your mother did not allow you to write it. They can talk to me if they have a problem with it. We have not read Zhuan Falun and we do not know much about Falun Gong. We cannot just listen to one side of the story."

The release of Mr. and Mrs. Huang is certainly good news, but behind this release lies a serious issue. That is, the human rights and human dignity of Mr. and Mrs. Huang and their relatives has been denigrated. Furthermore, the principles that support the rule of law have been violated. Before his release, Mr. Huang Wei was detained for over one year and was on hunger strike for tens of days accumulatively. Mrs. Huang persistently refused to eat any food and only drank liquids from the first day she lost her freedom until her release.

Everyone knows that diabetes today is incurable by modern medicine. The only choice I had left was to wait for death. At the same time, my 79-year-old mother was diagnosed with cancer of the womb, another incurable disease. Fortunately, a Falun Dafa practitioner told my mother and I to recite in our hearts "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is Good." We often did this, and then the miracles happened! My diabetes disappeared and I became stronger and stronger. Soon I could walk normally again.

After a Falun Dafa practitioner clarified the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution at a gathering of classmates, one of his classmates, a department director of a provincial police department, stood up and said, "The 610 Office¹ should be dissolved. They don't do anything good but treat groups of the elderly, children, and women very viciously. It is so wrong for them do so. Mr. Wang in our office also practises Falun Gong. He is a very good person. I am not against Falun Gong."

"Now I really respect you and want to learn Falun Gong. There are many people who want to learn but are scared because of the interference from the government. I wanted to learn, but no one dared to teach me. I was very happy to see your message today and to have the chance to meet you. I hope I can quickly obtain your help and support."

When Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the United States, thirty Chinese people in the US, including Ms. Yeong-Ching Foo, the fiancé of American citizen Charles Li, jointly wrote an open letter to Hu Jintao requesting the immediate release of their relatives in China who are imprisoned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for practising Falun Gong.

One day in June, I was taking a driver's license test. In the testing centre there was a woman who seemed very nervous. After getting in the car she did not do well on the test, so she was given another chance to make it up. Just then, a man standing next to her said loudly, "You need have self-confidence, very strong self-confidence, just like those Falun Gong people. They have the unshakable conviction that they will definitely succeed. If you can try to be just like Falun Gong, you definitely won't have any problem." Hearing the man say this made me feel really happy.

On August 26th, Falun Gong practitioners from Canada appealed to the Canadian government to ban Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, who has been charged for crimes against humanity for his involvement in the persecution of Falun Gong, from entering Canada. On September 7th, one day before Hu Jintao's visit to Canada, acclaimed Ottawa human rights attorney Lawrence Greenspan submitted a lawsuit to the Ontario High Court, charging Bo Xilai with the crime of torture and requesting that Bo compensate the plaintiffs for the damages.

At Hu Jintao's visit to the U.S. and Canada, we, the Falun Dafa practitioners in Liaoning Province, give him the following advice: "History is endowing you with an opportunity to choose your future. We hope you can make the final choice between good and evil. The opportunities and time are limited. Hu Jintao, if you can awaken, if you cherish this opportunity and make the right decision, it will be the biggest blessing for yourself and for the Chinese people. This is the only way to save yourself. We hope Hu Jintao can think of the greater picture, forsake darkness and come into the light..."

Hu Jintao is visiting North America for the first time since he became the head of the Chinese Communist Party. Wherever he appears, people can see, on site or through the media, a group of Falun Gong practitioners dressed in yellow and holding banners in their hands. They are delivering a message of protest in a unique and peaceful manner. What message do the Falun Gong practitioners wish to deliver to Hu Jintao, and what do they really want?

Being alive is a precious thing. Cultivators, however, are not satisfied with modern science’s explanation of what happens at the end of one’s life. They constantly explore the meaning of life while being alive, searching arduously on an endless road. It can be said that cultivators have seen through life and death, but they also treasure life. Unlike most people, cultivators have gained a double life. At the worst, their lives have gained another meaning and, therefore, they have nothing to lose. The worst thing that could happen to them happens to all other human beings anyway – death. What’s different is that they have gotten something to hope for.
