Si Jiaxiang was born in July of 1949. In October of 1970, he became a member of the Communist Party and he has been a deputy party secretary in the Daqing City Party Committee, and a secretary of the Daqing City Discipline Committee since 1998. After the persecution of Falun Gong began in July of 1999, Si Jiaxiang was put in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. It has been verified that under his directive, at least 55 Daqing practitioners died from persecution. Though local practitioners advised him not to continue his crimes, he paid no attention whatsoever. On July 15th, 2005, Si Jiaxiang died in a car accident. After his death, the Daqing City Government sealed the news tightly.

Mr. Zhong Guichun currently resides in New Zealand. Moved by the other individuals' brave actions publicly exposing the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong both inside and outside of China, he also stood up to share with the public and the governments around the world what he knows about the persecution and how the persecution has been carried out in China and abroad. Mr. Zhong is fifty years old.

Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Let's take a voyage as an analogy. If you don't withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party, you are a crew member on the Party's pirate ship. No matter how ornate and colourful the pirate ship is decorated, it is decayed and rotten inside, unable to withstand the weather. Once a storm hits, the ship will sink to the bottom of the ocean. If the entire ship sinks, will the crew survive?

The Great Learning was written about two thousand years ago. During the Song Dynasty (12th century), it became one of the required textbooks for all academic examinations. The Great Learning focuses on cultivating the self as a prerequisite to administering a government; the goal for an administrator cultivating the self was to rule the country wisely and bring peace to the world. It illustrates the relationship between improving oneself and administrating a government.

Those people who finished reading the Nine Commentaries waited several evenings to meet me. They kept telling me their feelings, such as realising how the Tiananmen Self-Immolation was faked and how those suicide and homicide cases were made up. They also said that the practitioners they knew were kind people and were totally different from how the TV propaganda portrayed them. They were very upset and angry over the Chinese Communist Party's deceit over the people of China.

A taxi driver who spoke on condition of anonymity said the murder had to do with Li Yanzhong being traumatised over his wife's affair, and that the only reason Li claimed to be a Falun Gong practitioner was because the government promised to exempt him from the death penalty if he did.

Seeing my distressed state after the attack, my friend dialled the emergency number 120 for help. Then I suddenly thought to check my stab wound. I examined my chest and found no injury. How could this happen? I clearly saw the knife piercing into my body, yet I was unhurt. Who saved me?

On the evening of June 25th, 2005, Hongshan Community was to perform an on-stage celebration of "July 1st" (the Chinese Communist Party anniversary) in Jianping County, Liaoning Province. The master of ceremonies announced that a choir would sing for the first performance. Before the music began, the whole stage collapsed suddenly with a "Boom!" All the choir members ran without singing a note. The audience was in shock as the rear portion of the stage rushed towards them like a huge wave. Pandemonium broke out as police and emergency vehicles began to arrive to treat the injured.

On July 23rd, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to raise awareness and gain support regarding the persecution taking place against those who practise Falun Gong in China. Those who went to Swan Square in Lucerne, Switzerland, to enjoy the natural carvings were astonished by what they saw. Such a scene attracted many people.

Mr. Zhang was the party secretary at his workplace before he retired. The disabling effects of a stroke kept him from conducting his former daily activities, and he drooled all the time. He took up reciting, "Falun Dafa is Good" and quit the CCP. Since then he stopped drooling and regained the ability to walk. Whenever anyone asks him what miraculous medicines he has taken, he always says loudly, "It's because Falun Dafa practitioners told me to recite "Falun Dafa is Good" and quit the CCP.

In this strange land, the locals have shown their kind hearts. They have not turned me in for a promotion, a bonus, or a meal ticket. Perhaps they have read me through their wrinkled faces. Again and again, they hid me and protected me, so that the police have not captured me. Again and again, they helped me return to safety. They observed my thoughts and my actions, and knew that I was not like what the official news said. They welcomed me, just like I cherished them. Though from the same country, our people can take such disparate paths.

A resident in China who wishes to remain anonymous said, "Falun Gong is practised by people in dozens of countries. Why is it only in China that we hear about so-called Falun Gong killings? The homicides we hear about in the news are all committed by people with mental illness, yet they were used to incriminate Falun Gong. If a student becomes mentally insane, does it mean the school the student attends is bad? Also, many of these killers had never practised Falun Gong. The government is trying to give Falun Gong all the blame. Nobody believes such news."

When people see the eagle again, it is squatting on the hunter's shoulder, following the hunter's instruction to hunt. Although there are no shackles on its legs, its spirit has been locked forever and it will never leave the hunter. Each time it captures something, the hunter will throw the entrails to it, and it will be even more grateful to the hunter's "generosity". It completely forgets that it used to shoot into the clouds like a sharp arrow and soar in the sky freely. That free soul has died.

I am an ordinary citizen from Dezhou District of Shandong Province in China. My wife is a Falun Dafa practitioner. Before the evil persecution against Falun Dafa began on July 20th, 1999, my wife managed our family quite well. She hoped that I could learn Falun Dafa. However, I disliked enduring hardship, so I didn't give it a go. The barbaric persecution against Falun Dafa and those who practise Falun Dafa disciples has been going on for six years, to which my family is no exception. Although I do not practise Falun Dafa, I have benefited a lot from it.

Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party clearly did not possess moral authority and leadership, yet they were jealous of any other group that did. They colluded with each other and used violence, lies and financial incentives to uncover people's weaknesses. They took advantage of people's weaknesses to eliminate their faith and their conscience. On the one hand, they forced cultivators to give up their belief. On the other hand, they menaced the public into accepting and even participating in the persecution.

People at the scene of the accident all agreed that the motorcyclist definitely would not survive. Indeed, the motorcyclist was not able to stand up and was in and out of consciousness. The driver of the car and the police officer sent him to a hospital. His wife rushed to the hospital and told him to recite, "Falun Dafa is good." He nodded his head. It turned out that he recovered after one and a half hours. He left the hospital and went home on the afternoon of the next day. The doctor, the police officer, and the driver who was responsible for the accident could not believe that he was all right.

Jiang Zemin worried about Falun Gong's "disunity" with the CCP because they did not give up their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance", principles which violate the hideous nature of the CCP. The former head of the CCP, Jiang Zemin, grew envious upon seeing so many people practising Falun Gong, he could not stand that something so popular was not controlled or initiated by him. Hatred made him adopt the policy of "defaming their reputations, bankrupting them financially, and destroying them physically" towards those who practise Falun Gong.

One statement read, "I am a judge, and I joined CCP in the 1980's. The CCP's officials commit all sorts of wrongdoings and are very unpopular. After reading the Nine Commentaries on Communist Party by The Epoch Times, I am clear that the root of all crimes is the CCP. I declare my resignation from the CCP and all its evil organisations."

Hao Fengjun, a former special agent for China's Public Security Bureau who is currently applying for political asylum in Australia, disclosed in the Channel 9 special "Behind Chinese Walls", that Japan contains a high concentration of undercover Chinese agents from the 6-10 Office. Along with the US, Canada, and Australia it is the focus of a concentrated spy network aimed directly at monitoring those who practise Falun Gong.

On the 21st of July, 2005, in front of the Capitol Hill, Washington DC, more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners held a grand rally to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong over the past six years. Ms. Faith J.H. McDonnell, Director of Religious Liberty Programs of the Institute on Religion & Democracy condemned the persecution of Falun Gong at the rally.

A German scholar, Rudolf von Jhering, said in his novel, The Struggle for Law, that people without rights are no different than domestic animals, and that Roman slaves were traded as domestic animals. The Chinese people have been treated just like Jhering said. Chinese people are not granted any fundamental human rights. But, what is most regretful, the majority of the Chinese people no longer resist it and have become helpless. They choose to silently endure, approve of such treatment and tolerate it.

On the 21st of July, 2005, in front of the Capital Hill, Washington DC, more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners held a grand rally to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong. Representative from Jubilee Campaign, Mr. Robert S. Turner, pointed out, "Chinese government hates and fears those who practise truthfulness, compassion and tolerance because they possess none of these characteristics themselves."

Ms. Cai Yongmei continued to say that, although she is not a follower of Falun Gong, Chinese citizens should have their freedom of belief. Moreover, the government does not have a right to judge what is righteous and what is evil. Only the people can choose for themselves what to believe in. The persecution and crackdown of Falun Gong simply exposes the truth that China does not have freedom of belief.

Before the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20th, 1999, Falun Dafa was very popular in Tangshan City. Nearly every park and square had a practice site. Since the persecution started, about 40 Falun Gong practitioners from Tangshan have died as a result of persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners' compassionate words, action and righteous field quickly changed and rectified everything, moving things in a compassionate direction, helping those detainees feel that they had found some friends in this strange and terrible environment, someone to care about them and someone who will really listen to what they have to say. They started to complain about the abusive treatment of towards practitioners and felt indignant about practitioners' bitter experiences. They also felt regret for their own crimes.

For several years, under the instigation of the Village Security Head Zhang Fengchun, local villager Chen Fuquan from Bainiu Village, Zhangzi Town, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province had gone everywhere tearing down Falun Dafa banners or covering them up with paint. Some practitioners spoke to him so as to try and let him learn the truth. They warned him, "By doing this, you might meet with retribution." But Chen didn't listen to them at all, and instead, he said, "I do not believe you. The village government pays me. I would rather do it." As a consequence, in May of 2005, he had a cerebral hemorrhage and died.

At that moment, I was profoundly happy for him because my aunts and uncles all know that our family practises Falun Gong and they know that it is good. When we get together each year, we always talk about Falun Gong with them, but they never wanted to learn it. After my dad's incident, my uncles were all shocked and said, "Falun Gong is truly amazing."

On July 21st, 2005, as a way of further trying to help stop the persecution against Falun Dafa in China, Falun Gong practitioners in Daqing City of Heilongjiang Province in China hung banners in a busy area of the city and on a residential building. The banners reading "Falun Dafa is Good" looked even more eye-catching after heavy rainfall from the night before.

After learning the facts, the director was no longer influenced by the propaganda against Falun Gong that is so prevalent in China and so he decided to stand up for the truth no matter what. Soon, he took down the portrait of the former leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Jiang Zemin and smashed it to pieces. Also, he no longer forces his students to carry out the orders issued by the CCP.

The declaration states, "If the CCP is not eliminated, people will have no way out, and the nation's revival will have no hope. My joining the CCP was the biggest mistake in my life. After I declared my resignation from the CCP, I was so relieved! I'm happy to have removed myself from the evil!" "Withdraw from all malevolent organisations of the CCP, so that we will have a beautiful future."

As he lay on the bed dying, he would often call out to his parents in Shanghai dialect. He hadn’t dared to say their names for 30 year because they were landlords. Now he finally dared to express his longing for them. Sometimes he would be conscious and point to the ceiling with a sneer, saying, "Landlord, landlord, so what?! Damn it! ”Suddenly he would start sobbing and complain tearfully to the daughter, "Suppressed for thirty years;" scratching his stomach, "My heart.... is suffocated..."

Mark Palmer, Vice-chairman of the human rights organisation Freedom House in the USA said, "I want to say in all seriousness that I believe your movement, the Falun Gong, is the movement which will define our time at the beginning of the 21st Century. I think when people look back they will say, "Oh yes, there was Gandhi, there was the American Civil Rights movement, there was Solidarity, and then there was Falun Gong. There was a movement that came out of China that defined its era, and ultimately it was successful."

I just want to thank my good friend Mitchy for bringing this information to me. We hear so much of the atrocities of Darfur and other places in Africa through Amnesty, but the persecution of those practicing Falun Gong I had never heard of. My friend and I are going to work to bring light to this, and hopefully bring about change, letting those that were like me know that these things are happening in places outside of Africa and the Middle East.

The Town Secretary from Henan Province took a walk in Tiananmen Square. As soon as he reached into his pocket for some tissues to blow his nose, a plainclothes police officer patrolling the area immediately seized him. The policeman twisted his arms behind his back and shoved him onto the ground. Afterwards, the secretary exclaimed, "They assumed that I was a Falun Gong practitioner and almost arrested me. Now, I know how they treat Falun Gong practitioners."

We have seen in history that crimes resulting from hatred can be very severe. Hate propaganda can instigate and instill a sense of hatred in people, therefore acting as an unseen motive to attack. Terrorists release articles and videos with just such a purpose--to beget hatred in the readers. This instigates those who follow the terrorists to commit unpardonable acts.

Four Bay Area practitioners talked about their personal experiences at the gathering. All four are professionals or executives in technology fields. They expressed their hope that more people could learn the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party and oppose the persecution. They stressed that faith in truthfulness, compassion and tolerance cannot be changed by violence; the peaceful resistance practised over the past six years demonstrated this point.

Soon after I arrived a young couple stopped and started looking at the pictures. After reading the articles exposing the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners currently taking place in China, the young man, with his heavy eyebrows raised high and his eyes wide open, simply asked: “Do you need any help or money?” I explained, “What I am doing has nothing to do with money or donations. I simply want to highlight the atrocities that the Chinese Communist Party has committed against those who practice Falun Gong, something which has been hidden from the people of China.”

Falun Gong practitioners were braving the weather and standing in the snow and the biting wind whilst holding activities to let more people know about the persecution taking place against those who practise Falun Gong in China to people on the streets of Manhattan. This photograph clearly shows the location of the event and highlights the determination to stop the persecution.

The practitioner told her, "As long as you sincerely recite, 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, Falun Dafa is good,' your health will get better." After hearing that, Ms. Chen sincerely recited these words every night. She did this for three days. On the morning of the third day, she felt a burning object in her throat roll slowly downward. Her appetite improved and she felt like eating. In another week, all of her illness symptoms disappeared. This story caused quite a stir in her local area. Those people who knew about her cancer, in particular, exclaimed that Falun Dafa is indeed amazing.

President Velez said in the letter, "Dear friends, many thanks for sending me the invaluable works of Master Li Hongzhi: the VCD, magazine and Zhuan Falun.

The literature you sent and your eloquent card will encourage me to work harder on social progress and stability. Here, I would like to wish you success in your future endeavours."

As time passed, and I lived with Falun Gong practitioners day and night, I gradually came to know the truth about them. They are not like what was described on TV. They are all good people and follow the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." However, even though I knew that they were good people, I did not think of learning Falun Gong from them until one day something miraculous happened.

He recognises the benefits that Falun Gong has brought to his family. His mother used to be a heavy smoker and was not very healthy. After practising Falun Gong, she became very healthy and looks like she is in her fifties when she is actually in her seventies. His two sisters-in-law used to be very selfish, but now they care about and look out for others. His family became so harmonious that even the neighbourhood recognised the change, and he was also very happy about it.

The consular officials will need to personally face Canadian laws, if such a suit is filed, regardless of whether they were only following orders. Former Chinese vice consul in Toronto, Pan Xinchun, was charged with defamation of Falun Gong. Pan's bank account was frozen after he refused to pay the court-ordered damages. Pan later returned to China. With his history, not many countries would welcome him as a diplomat. He may also face further legal actions.

Initially, the Public Security and police, but not the judiciary, were involved in the persecution of Falun Gong. That changed when the detention centres and jails could not hold all the people. At that time, I was the Chinese Communist Parties Committee Deputy Secretary for Shenyang and in charge of this area, so they came to me and requested that I open a forced labour camp to detain Falun Gong practitioners. Originally, the four camps in Shenyang had never imprisoned females, who would be sent to the provincial labour camp or prisons; but this time I was asked to imprison female Falun Gong practitioners.

Zheng Wenhuang and his wife He Laiqin went to China twice to learn about Falun Gong and then introduced the practice to fellow Taiwanese. The author of this article visited the couple at their home in Yilan County and listened to their story of how they came across and started to practise. He wishes to serve as a witness for the historic spreading of Falun Dafain in Taiwan.

During the surgery, the doctors found that my lungs, as well as my trachea, were full of tumours. They said that they could not continue with the operation and closed up my chest. Then they told my family members that I would only live for one more month. Coming back from the hospital, I asked my daughter-in-law, who is a Falun Dafa practitioner, for the book Zhuan Falun. I read the book for seven days straight, whereupon I was able to get out of bed and move around. Now, nobody would ever believe that I had ever been a patient with incurable lung cancer. I know that the founder of Falun Gong, Master Li Hongzhi saved me and gave me my second life. I am very grateful.

The most severe case was when the four tires were punctured at the same time. When I took the car in for repair, I was told the tires could not be fixed and that I had to buy four new tires. All these instances happened in the morning before I went to work, and they seriously affected my normal work and life. I reported the incidents to the local police department and two police officers came to investigate. When I mentioned that I suspected this was related to the Chinese Embassy, the police were not at all surprised. However, due to lack of hard evidence, the police could not directly discuss the matter with the Chinese Embassy.

Regarding the current situation of our society, there are corrupt officials, thieves, robbers, killers, criminals, prostitutes and so on. It is not just me saying these things; people today are complaining left, right and centre, saying that our current society is dying. The society is in such a bad state, and the government doesn't do anything to try to improve the situation. In contrast, it focuses its major manpower, financial resources and materials on arresting and persecuting a large population of good people (i.e. Falun Gong practitioners) who are innocent and weaponless
