Once, my boss drank some wine and was very excited. The room was crowded. He said to all the people in the room, "You should learn from Alian. She doesn't mind getting shortchanged. She doesn't fight with others. She doesn't complain about difficult assignments. Very nice! Very truthful, compassionate, forbearing!" Immediately, all the people laughed. When seeing all of us laughing, he said very seriously, "Why are you laughing? I'm telling the truth under the effect of alcohol." People laughed harder since they all agreed with him.

Several days ago when I happened to open my eyes, I saw his hands drooping again. I was calm, with no anger. I urged myself to let go of the attachment and tried to trust him to be able to do well by himself. A warm current flowed between my legs and arms at this thought, and my legs were no longer painful anymore. It felt warm and comfortable. Two lines of tears rolled down my cheeks. It was merciful Teacher--Teacher knows everything.

If I completely were to think about the best interests of others, and live for others, then I would always think from the other party's perspective I would sincerely hope for the best for others and make others happy. I would be glad for any little progress others make. When I saw others' mistakes, I would not blame them. I would help them make corrections because their mistakes were like my own.

With Teacher's benevolent teaching, we wiped our tears and set aside our own glory and pride. Instead, we put the saving of sentient beings above other things. Whether it's personal cultivation or truth-clarification and saving sentient beings, whenever we do well, that's when we meet Teacher's expectation.

The next day I went to Tienanmen Square and saw a group of people. A middle-aged man was selling communist flags. After explaining to him that selling those flags would bring him bad luck, he stopped. Furthermore, he agreed to do the three withdrawals. More than ten other people followed his lead and quit the CCP and its youth organizations. I tore up the flags and threw them into the trash can.

As soon as I started to practice Falun Dafa, I immediately relinquished my attachments to fame, material interests, and sentimentality. I guided my life with the Fa principles and felt content. When I eliminated my attachment to my son's academic performance, he got accepted by a top-notch middle school. I was also unexpectedly assigned a very nice apartment unit when I had not cared about getting one. Master gives us the best arrangements as long as we carry ourselves as true cultivators.

Finally, I suggest that practitioners study The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa on a regular basis and carefully learn and understand each and every movement that Master has taught us. This is extremely precious. Let's remind each other that we should cherish this special historic time during which Master has personally taught us the exercises. In the future, there will never again be such an opportunity. This is a blessing for us and it is also a glory that will never occur again.

When we arrived at the beach with posters, a French man was there waiting for us. We knew he was arranged by Master to learn about Dafa. As we displayed our posters, he helped out as if he were one of us. My husband and I told him about Dafa and the facts of the persecution. He showed a strong interest in Dafa and looked at Master's exercise photos for a long time. He learned all five sets of exercises. Before he left, we gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun in French and Master's exercise demonstration DVD.

Next, we arrived at another household that happened to have a guest from out of town. Because of Teacher's reinforcement and our heartfelt compassion and kindness for these sentient beings, they agreed that Falun Gong was good. However, they didn't agree to quit the CCP or its affiliated organizations. My team mate and I were both pretty sad, so sad that tears welled up in our eyes. They were touched by our sincerity, so the entire family and their guest agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

I told them to hurry up and quit the CCP to guarantee safety and a bright future. “I can help you quit with alias or nicknames or whatever.” The lady who was giving out leaflets returned to ask me, “What did you say to quit?” I said, “Quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I can help you to pick a name. Would you quit?” She said yes. Later I asked one by one. Everyone including the guide renounced the CCP. Like registering, some thirty people quit the CCP.

I still have various, big attachments with regards to collecting signatures and clarifying the truth. But I am very happy to be able to save that many sentient beings. Everyday I carry signature forms and truth leaflets in my suitcase from home to office. When I collect signatures, I will take the opportunity to ask them come to practice in the park. Pretty much everyday I spend like this. Every time I sit in front of the computer, it would be for a Dafa project.

I believe then and still do that this story came back to me that day as a reminder. We are most honoured and fortunate beings. This time we have got another chance to really prove that Dafa practitioners can indeed cooperate unconditionally and think and move like one body. Which part any one of us play is not important as long as we ourselves understand that we all are needed.

We started to explain to the consultant that in fact this performance has the power to clear the dirt from people’s minds by pure beauty, obtained from dancers, because they practice Falun Dafa. He suddenly couldn’t find any arguments against us, because we were saying the truth, from the bottom of our hearts. Therefore, we understood that this is the right approach to use.

But when Chinese workers took the materials from me, these two people shouted at them. One of them even rushed up to a worker, grabbed a set of truth clarifying materials and threw on to the floor. But, the worker crouched and picked up the material, brushed the dust off and then put them in his pocket. In the meantime, all the other Chinese workers who went through the gate all took the materials. Those Chinese people so cherished the truth clarifying materials; they didn’t even listen to the two supervisors

All of us are Dafa Disciples during the Fa Rectification period, we study the Fa and Teacher's lectures daily and we all understand our mission and responsibility. It would seem that nothing can be more important at this moment than to rescue sentient beings, however how difficult it is to be always in a righteous state of mind, to have an unconditional readiness to go and save worldly people at any time of the day.

To talk to people with high position (VIP) is something that can make me very scared if I go along with the old forces that try to stop me. The fear makes my stomach and lungs draw together, indicating that it is a deeply rooted attachment. When there was a need for practitioners to help in clarifying the facts to these MPs, I didn’t think of myself, but used this as a great opportunity to get rid of my fear.

When I knew what cultivation was about and had a basic understanding of Fa principles, I started to function in society. Slowly I renewed my acquaintances and got a job. I started to do the exercises and made Fa study a priority. The more I studied the Fa the deeper my understanding became. I saw that the things that people do in society have no real meaning and we are living in the reality based on illusion. I realised that the true goal of being a human is the return to one's true self through cultivation.

In another class one student asked, "Teacher, what is 'Falun Dafa Hao?' You told the other class about this but we want to know, too." This was a clear reminder to me that I must make sure to clarify the truth to every single class I teach, no exceptions, because they all came here for the Fa. They were literally asking me to tell them! The entire class immediately quieted down and payed close attention. They said they would like to wear T-shirts that say "Falun Dafa Hao."

I asked myself: " The signal of NTD TV has not been connected yet, the evil is still acting violently, but have you already retreated? Don’t you really have enough money to buy a train ticket to Paris? Can’t you leave the Dafa work here which isn't so urgent? Will my husband really stop you from going there? ”

The fundamental nature of all things and beings and practitioners is to be in line with the characteristics of the cosmos. No matter which differences of opinion we face or which difficulties we have among each other, those are all processes of transformation and not fundamental things. This understanding has helped me to remove many negative ideas and concepts from my mind, thus allowing me to come closer to ‘working together unconditionally’ and to be less attached to my personal opinion

In recent years, with sudden incidents increasing in China, the bases have played a great role in rescuing fellow practitioners who are illegally arrested and detained. Within just a few days, more than one hundred thousand telephone broadcast calls are sent to the same area at the same time, enabling all the local residents to know about the bad deeds done by the evil Party. The feedback from mainland China tells us: “we have learnt of so many incidents that have happened in various places. The evil Party is very unpopular and its doomsday is near.”

What other practitioners said or did were merely to help me awaken from my slumber and realize what I had not let go. All along it was my problem. If I let it go, fellow practitioners would have nothing to point out to me. Teacher wants us to look within when we are faced with problems. This is the absolute truth.

Another practitioner once told me that Teacher had published a "Lecture Ten." I was alert and said immediately, "Teacher's Zhuan Falun only has nine lectures. I have never heard of a lecture ten. You should stop, not pass this around, and destroy it at once. This is serious. Have you forgotten the last lesson? We must take the Fa as the Teacher." So the spreading of these false articles was stopped in time in our area.

In this new article, I can sense Teacher's eagerness and the urgency regarding this matter. In the meagre time that remains, we shall, through this conference, form a strong and indestructible one body. In the meantime, we shall try to influence those practitioners who are still not diligent to overcome their difficulties and rise above being human. Let us make our cultivation environment a pure land where practitioners can share and elevate together

It seems that because some practitioners, including myself, didn't have a clear understanding of the Fa, we frequently became excited while chatting. When China was mentioned, we criticized and talked about many things in China that we felt were not good. This gives people the impression that "Falun Gong doesn't love China." Not only that, once we start talking about some of the ugly news in China, we forget that we are here to save sentient beings.

I exchanged my confused thoughts with a practitioner who came to pick up materials. This practitioner told me there was no requirement as to quantity, and I could just do as much as I could. Having heard this I felt less burdened but thought about it later and realized: What I'm doing is to offer sentient beings salvation. What am I afraid of? Isn't fear a reflection of ego? When I enlightened to the Fa principles, I let go of the fear once more, and the interference also stopped, and I began to make more and more materials.

He was moved by what I said, and replied, "I shall treat you like I always do. Thank you for telling me so much. I am willing to withdraw." Later, I continued to pass on fact sheets to him and he was willing to take them. He told me, "In the hallway of the building in which I live someone wrote, 'The Chinese Communist Party is not China. Being faithful to the CCP is not equal to being faithful to China.' I think it makes sense." I was overjoyed to hear him say that. Now, he has read Zhuan Falun three times.

As I hadn't handed out any materials on the subway for a long time, this little task seemed as hard as the first time I made truth-clarification phone calls to China. I reminded myself that my fear was my lack of compassion for saving sentient beings. When I finally overcame my fear, my compassion arose and I said "hello" and gave to him my first 2009 show flier. The man read the flier carefully.

Recently when my colleague was drunk, he came up to me and said, "I am better than you." At that time I was angry and I thought, "Do you have any qualifications to even compete with me?" I just ignored him and I refused to even look at him. Each time I saw him drunk, I would gloat and I felt no compassion or mercy for him. Today I realize that such bad thoughts are terrible! Before I looked within I felt that I was so superior and good. But after looking within I found so many attachments and bad substances.

She took out a copy of the Nine Commentaries, an amulet, and other materials from her bag and gave them to him. He accepted them gladly and said, "I am so fortunate. This protective amulet is so beautiful. It's great!" He asked for several more so that he could share them with his co-workers.

For the last nine years, I have followed these "shopping standards." In all seasons but summer, I wear the same pair of shoes. It is not that Falun Dafa practitioners are impoverished. With the exception of basic necessities, we spend all of our income on truth-clarification projects. That is why we have been able to persevere for these nine years and have never stopped working. Every practitioner is doing the same.

The neighbor replied, "He is a good person. I have never seen see him do anything wrong." The policeman said, "If you see him go out to clarify the truth, call the police, and you will be rewarded 1000 yuan." The neighbor replied, "He is a good person. He has done nothing wrong. I wouldn't do it even if you did give me 1000 yuan."

Dafa is harmonizing. We should harmonize our families, the cultivation environment we are in contact with everyday. Through Fa-study, I realized that I should be even more compassionate to my family members because they are closest to me. Why did we all end up in this big family? It was because of our prehistoric vows that we would re-connect with one another when Dafa was introduced to the world.

Actually, the point was that I failed to look within at all times. When unrighteous thoughts surfaced, I didn't measure it against Dafa, and, as a result, it caused interference in my cultivation. Even though I have now come to this understanding through cultivation, I still must not be relaxed with my thoughts, because bad thoughts may easily slip into my mind.

After that day, my wife and I read "Zhuan Falun" and listened to Teacher's 9-day audio lectures. We also conducted ourselves according to the standard of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. On one occasion, my wife fell asleep while she was reading Zhuan Falun. The next day, she told me that Teacher had taught her the lectures all night, and that the lectures were the same as Teacher's 9-day lectures. Teacher also told her how to cultivate her xinxing (character) and how to be a good person.

On January 29, 1998, I borrowed a set of Dafa books from a friend. I first read Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa, and I couldn't hold back my tears. I was surprised and happy. I called from my heart, "Master, I finally found you." It was like a child seeing his parents for for the first time after many years. With happiness and tears, I read the book without feeling tired until two or three o'clock in the morning.

Once, a neighbour wanted to use our apartment while my family was away on a trip. I said, "I have no requests except that you need to burn incense to my Teacher every day." She agreed, and when I returned she told me, "Not only did I burn incense every day, but I also bought the best fruits to respect him." I was moved to tears. I was in tears because I was moved to see the lives wakening under the evil clouds. I was also in tears because I felt sorry for those who were still lost because of the CCP.

I have often been thinking, "What are righteous thoughts? Righteous thoughts are not necessarily the ones with which to solve a big event taking place. Righteous thoughts are in your heart, protecting Dafa and sentient beings without any hindrance. Among everyday people and in your family, your every thought, every word, every move as well as your attitude and your expression are all so upright, compassionate, and peaceful, reflecting Dafa disciple's nobleness and elegance.

I was asked to look after purchasing materials for the cafeteria, in which over twenty people eat. People often say that people in this position are easily corruptible, but I follow the standards of Dafa at my place of work. No matter when a transaction happens, I make sure I record it promptly, and I have people who work in the cafeteria review it. I have been strict with myself and don't allow myself to become corruptible. Therefore, I don't want anything that doesn't belong to me.

The whole process of creating and editing the material is a cultivation process, and the results are a reflection of those who worked on it. It illustrates our compassion and painstaking efforts to help sentient beings. When you look at some of the materials, you can feel the purity, compassion and responsibility. I think that non-practitioners can also see it when they read these materials, even if they may not realize at the time what they are holding in their hands.

When I was in fourth grade, I was selected as a broadcaster for the school radio news program. Naturally, I was very excited, but when I went home, my mother "poured a bucket of cold water on me" and said, "How could you be helping the evil broadcast the news?" She told me to turn the offer down, but then she changed her mind and said, "There is nothing coincidental when it comes to cultivation. You should make good use of this great opportunity to broadcast Dafa's information; it will be a good way to save more sentient beings and reverse it to be a good deed!"

At the end of 2000, My sister and I went to Beijing to validate the Fa and were arrested. When police asked me for my name and address, I didn't tell them. They made me sit on the cold cement floor to freeze. It was very cold in Beijing. When I still didn't say anything, the police became desperate. They shocked me on my hands, face and head with electronic batons. At the time I had no hatred toward them but tried to persuade them not to behave like this

When I wrote experience sharing articles in the past, I used to sign with our local district name. When my articles were published, it intensified my attachment. I would search for my articles with our local district name and tried to find how many of my articles have been published, unknowingly developing the attachment of elation

I followed what Teacher said and tried to harmonize with what Teacher wanted. I took the Fa as Teacher. One person who had seriously harmed my family ran into me a few times after quitting the CCP activities began. This was not accidental. We were all Teacher's family members. It must be Teacher wanting to save her. So I approached her. I clarified the truth to her and helped her quit the Party. I then gave her an amulet(1) as a gift.

Dafa gave him a chance to be reborn, and he really lived a new life. He was changed from inside out. He became honest, kind and tolerant. Furthermore, what surprised me even more were his studies. Before he was at an upper-middle level in his class. After my brother started to practice cultivation, his grades kept improving every month.

During conflicts, I also came to understand that I should not pay too much attention to the misunderstanding of fellow practitioners. We should be tolerant towards fellow practitioners. The purpose of our cultivation is not for validating ourselves, arguing with others, nor for racking up "achievements." Rather, it is to let go of as many attachments as possible.

Now everyone in our Fa-study group is strict with themselves. We sit upright, hold up the book with both hands and read the Fa word by word. Even if we are tired, we don't slack off in any of those areas. If our legs hurt, we switch from double-lotus to the single-lotus position. Thinking of how much Teacher has suffered so much for us. How can we be worthy of Teacher's salvation? Everyone has improved through this experience sharing.

When I was cooking dinner, I kept thinking, "For a practitioner, there is nothing accidental. I just had a major repair job done for the bike the week before, why had the screw fallen out? These screws normally never get loose. I need to look within." I then realized that the pedals falling meant that I had made a mis-step. Where was I not solid? Cultivation is very serious and I should cultivate myself solidly

Other practitioners wanted to contribute money, but they refused to accept it. Why didn't they take it? The help that the other practitioners were offering was also to save sentient beings and validate Dafa. Practitioners at the materials site, how could you refuse their compassionate assistance? Are we validating Dafa? Or are we validating ourselves? After refusing their assistance, isn't the "difficult situation" self-made?
