Zhang Sufang, after being tortured by policewoman Yan Liping for practising Falun Gong, was hung up with both hands cuffed and both feet off the ground. After five days, her face turned pale and she experienced severe cramps.

Ten days later, Chen Dewen was sent to the hospital where he died. The guards falsified the evidence, concocting a story that Chen died from heart disease. Another practitioner took the guards to task, demanding to know how patients with heart disease could be beaten and shocked with an electric baton. The guards were shocked and speechless.

After several months of interrogation and brutal torture, the police didn't get one word from Leng Tao. He was jailed with other inmates. The police encouraged the criminal inmates to persecute him. The inmates rode on his head and urinated on him. They use a toothbrush to rub his penis raw. Also they beat him inhumanly.

The police also equipped local internet cafes with automatic alarm systems. As soon as the users try to access Minghui.net or other Falun Dafa websites, the system will sound the alarm. Since Liu Guangxiu did not cooperate with the abusive policemen, they undressed her, leaving her wearing only her undergarments. They forced her to stand outside on the snowy ground for 24 hours. In the meantime, they poured icy water all over her body and force-fed water through her nose.

Police in Nanchang cuffed a practitioner with his hands behind his back and then hung him up in the air by his cuffed hands for four straight days. It was reported that his hands were deformed as a result of this torture.

His body was covered with bruises. The next day, the police used electric batons to shock him for over an hour and viciously beat him with spiked clubs.

The Public Security Bureau has arrested many practitioners and sent them to brainwashing classes. It was reported that some of the female practitioners have been raped while in detention.

What kind of drugs and injections or "brainwashing" methods did they use to change a formerly clear-headed as well as physically healthy lady into such a miserable person? An actively working and thrifty farmer's family has thus been ruined. A tragedy that should not have happened has befallen an innocent farmer's family.

They used bamboo batons to beat practitioners until the batons were broken. As a result, practitioners were severely injured, and splinters of bamboo stuck into their flesh. In addition, they violently pushed practitioners' heads into water. They even ruined practitioners' barbershops, pharmacy shops, sewing stores, and small restaurants. Even the onlookers said that these policemen acted like bandits.

The method used by the police is to detain the practitioners first. Then the police force their families to turn in money to pay for their meals at restaurants and other entertainment expenses. The methods of torture employed include: verbal abuse, beating, slapping in the face, forcing to kneel down, shocking with electric batons, denying sleep, heavy labor work, forcing to stand in painful positions, beating with planks, forcing one to smell the toilet [open cesspits] , hanging up by ropes, digging the eyes, various tortures of the genitals, burning with cigarette butts, and forbidding to speak.

Li Mingte's legs were beaten black and blue, and Li Yuan's ten fingers and upper body were covered with wounds from being stabbed with needles. The torture they suffered was too horrible to look at.

The tortures included sitting on a very small stool, being beaten with bamboo plates, being slapped in the face, being deprived of sleep, and not being allowed visits from family members.

Because I never cooperated with the evil people and insisted on practicing the exercises, I suffered brutal beatings many times and was forced to wear shackles. Shackles are normally only used for death sentence criminals. When the mobsters brutally beat me, they kept pushing and pulling my limbs, stretching me and beating me with batons, almost crazily. Socks can't be washed for over half a month. The practitioners are not allowed to use the restroom or drink water without permission.

The details about the "strict-surveillance class" are as follows: In the strict-surveillance class, Falun Gong practitioners were not allowed to talk to each other at all. They were forced to sit from morning to night, and were not allowed to stand or walk even for a minute.
