"How dare the Party treat Falun Gong practitioners with such cruelty and inhumanity? It treats people who want to become good people like this? It looks like the Party's days are numbered!"

Public Security Official: "You Falun Gong practitioners are good people, but who dares to say it!"

Father: My daughter is smart, healthy and had a good career. She is a model worker at her unit, and a good daughter at home. My wife and I are all depending on her. There was only benefit after she began practicing Falun Gong, never any ill result. I know my daughter better than anyone else. How do you plan to "transform" her? My daughter was never like what the TV had purported; don't you ever try to harm her.

After putting down the phone, this policeman thought, "What am I going to do with all these [truth clarifying] materials that [practitioner] Ms. Zheng left over?" When he arrived home in the evening, he put up the leaflets all over his building. He is not a Dafa practitioner but his actions are admirable; […] his pure human nature and conscience has been awakened.

On another occasion, several Chinese came up with rapid strides, seeing from a distance our big banners and the practitioners doing exercises. Marching ahead was a young man. Before I said anything, he raised his hand, while walking, and shouted, "I support you!"

Another person asked, "Is it true that Teacher Li [the founder of Falun Gong] changed his birthday?" He had barely finished speaking when another retailer replied loudly, "That is a rumour! Their Teacher was my classmate in junior high school. He is tall and handsome. We were both born in 1951, the Year of the Rabbit. The TV programme is telling lies!"

The Falun Dafa Association of France has received many readers' letters since we put a notice in the local Chinese newspaper indicating the free availability of Falun Gong truth-clarifying VCDs and literature.

This incident had a great impact among people. People are saying things like, "Those Party and government officials as well as the police did not stop to help dying people. Instead they are persecuting Falun Gong practitioners who are saving lives. Who is righteous and who is evil?"

"Do you see these 9 pairs of shoes? It took me two months and 9 pairs of shoes to come to Beijing from Sichuan Province just to say one thing: Falun Dafa is good."

When Zeng finished his story, I couldn't help shedding tears myself. When I looked at him, I noticed that his own eyes were filled with tears as well.

The next day, when he sent the money back to the grain depot, they asked, "What do you study?" The Dafa practitioner said, "I study Falun Dafa." The director of the grain depot said, "It is the first time that someone has returned an overpayment of money."

The authorities are full of complaints from high to low levels. Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's people have used all kinds of means to persecute Falun Gong and are at the end of their wits.

On December 6, 2001, a Changchun practitioner and I went to the Chaoyanggou Labour Camp to expose their evil deeds and clarify the truth. Before our departure, we were aware that some fellow practitioners had been tortured to death there, and others were on hunger strikes, valiantly resisting […]. We felt a sense of certainty in our hearts, and were determined to succeed.

I told a friend about the truth of Falun Gong. He said, "Now who doesn't know what it is? Nobody is stupid." I asked him whether he knew that some Western practitioners went to Tiananmen Square. He said, "Everybody is talking about it." When I asked what they thought of it he said, "We all think that your Teacher is marvellous!"

Originally, there were four people in the "610" office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] of the factory, now only two remain. They drink tea and read newspapers all day and said privately when chatting with intimate friends, "Why arrest those good people? It is much better to improve the productivity of the factory if they have energy. Perhaps you will not notice even if practitioners put up truth flyers on the back of your body. In that case, how can we catch them?"

A few short stories of honest people resisting the persecution of Falun Dafa

Two girls were very excited after they read the materials and returned after they had walked a long distance. One of them said that she would return to Mainland China before the Chinese New Year. Her family called her and asked her to bring back truth-clarifying materials of Dafa, so she asked if she could have some more. I gave her the only two VCDs I had left.
