Falun Gong Practitioners from Berlin, German Hold a Press Conference in front of the Chinese Embassy to highlight the unjust trial in Hong Kong

My sister, Bao-Lian Zhu, is 36 years old and lives in Beijing, China. She was arrested on 15th December 2000 when she distributed Falun Gong leaflets.

Ms Dai’s mother died on 15 October after seeing her children's ordeals. Ms Dai and her two imprisoned sisters were denied their right to attend their mother’s funeral.

During Jiang Zemin's visit, many practitioners were blocked from travelling to Iceland, either because they held Chinese or Taiwanese passports, or because they were on a "blacklist" of practitioners provided by Jiang. This list was compiled despite the fact that Falun Gong has no membership. The list shows that Jiang's campaign to suppress Falun Gong operates across the world.

The electric batons are about twenty inches long. Besides two electrodes at the end of them, they also had spiral wires covering them. Those wires can give electric shocks to a much wider area for a longer period of time. They used at least six of those electric batons to give me electric shocks all over my body.

When little Minghui, 2 years and 4 months old now, was 8 months old, her registration was cancelled by Jiang Zemin Government, forcing her to become stateless. Today, we successfully got little Minghui’s Chinese passport from Chinese Embassy (UK).

Jiang became more and more frightened every day, and he continued to impose diplomatic pressure on the German government. The police had to impose the curfew more strictly and more widely every day. Whenever they saw people wearing yellow and blue clothes, and yellow and blue scarves, they would keep them back quite a distance far away from Jiang.

Three of the five policemen who used electric batons on me were department chiefs of Tuan He labour Camp, and they knew what they did was illegal. [...] I hope that all kind-hearted people and the international community will continue to speak out and help stop this modern-day atrocity against Falun Gong practitioners in China.

I once asked him, "Zhao Ming, what is the deepest experience in your cultivation?" [...]

[They] even tied him to the ladders of the bunk bed, brutally beat him, and severely injured his tailbone. The hospital made the following diagnosis: the first section of the caudal vertebra was fractured, which led him to become paralyzed...

One officer grabbed my hair, the others kicked and punched me and escorted me to the police car. I was sitting in the police car and the older officer opened the door and leaned in. His face was contorted and he tried to punch me in the face.

The China Liaison Office in Hong Kong pressured Police to violently suppress and falsely charge 16 practitioners who were peacefully and legally protesting against Jiang Zemin's order to "Kill without Pardon"
