(Clearharmony Site) Lilian Staf, a UK Falun Gong practitioner, was deported by the Chinese police and sent on a flight to Germany. At 5pm Lilian boarded another flight from Frankfurt and arrived at London Heathrow. Lilian is currently working in the UK and is originally from Sweden. As soon as she arrived at the airport a press conference was held and Lilian was interviewed by many journalists.

Lilian told us that she was arrested around 6pm, 20th November at Tiananmen Sq, when she was doing the meditation exercise. Also present were over 30 western Falun Gong practitioners. They sat in two rows, in front of the memorial flowers ring they made for the dead Falun Gong practitioners in China. There have been over 300 death reports from China. These Falun Gong practitioners were tortured to death because of their firm belief in Falun Gong. The Chinese police dragged the western practitioners into police vans by force. Those who were not willing to cooperate were also beaten by the police.

They were taken to Tiananmen police station and were detained in cells. Then they were transferred to a big room at a hotel at suburban Beijing. Before they were taken to Tiananmen police station Lilian saw a white practitioner from Australia who was beaten by the police and passed out. Lilian tried to communicate with her but achieved no response. The police used force to drag Lilian away in order to cover up the facts. At Heathrow airport Lilian showed the journalists the dark marks around her wrists, by the police.

Lilian also said that when she was collecting her baggage from the hotel she saw a practitioner being beaten up by five policemen. One held him by the arms, one clenched his neck and two were beating him at the front. They were trying to force the western practitioner to sign a confession document and were also trying to video the whole thing. But the western practitioner would not do so and was beaten up.

In order to cover the facts, when transferring the western practitioners in the police van, the police would sit at the sides and sandwich the western practitioners so that they could not be seen by people in streets.

Lilian said that most policemen were very young and among their twenties. They were deceived by the Chinese government and did not know that Falun Gong is perfectly legal out of China. At the beginning they would not believe that we were Falun Gong practitioners. I told them that I had been practising for over 5 years. They were so shocked upon seeing me in practise with other western practitioners. Because the Chinese government has been spreading the rumour that Falun Gong was not allowed in any parts of the world and was “XX cult”. However the police were so shocked to see western practitioners sitting in meditation with great calm and peace. Most of the time they did not interfere with the practitioners.

Lilian also said that they gave the young Chinese policemen a big shock. Now they know already that they had been deceived. At overseas there are still millions of Falun Gong practitioners, and this they witnessed themselves. A western practitioner was trying to promote Dafa to the hotel staff and was dragged away and beaten up by the police. At the police van western practitioners were saying to the police in Chinese “Falun Dafa is good!” A policewoman said rudely, “ We all know Falun Dafa is good and there is no point for you to come such a long way to tell us.” Lilian said that she felt very happy for the policewoman since she was aware of the fact that Falun Dafa is good. During her detention Lilian successfully contacted the Asia Today by BBC and a local London newspaper. They then reported the current situations straight away. She also said that during the telephone interview she tried to make it clear to the journalist that the western practitioner did not worry much about their current situations. Instead they were worrying about the thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They could be killed at anytime by the police. Lilian said that she hoped the western practitioners’ actions could awaken the world’s attention to rescue the Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Present at the airport to interview Lilian were RFA from USA, BBC Chinese from UK, and PA news from UK, etc.
