Russia: Introduce Falun Gong at the Moscow City Festival

September 6th and 7th mark the Moscow City Festival. Local Falun Gong practitioners participated in the celebration to raise awareness about Falun Gong and their participation was well received.

This holiday celebration took place in a beautiful park, featuring all kinds of cultural displays and performances. Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises, performed traditional-style Chinese dances (Lotus Flower and Fan Dance) and performed with waist-drums. The performance attracted many tourists, and some of them also learned the Falun Gong exercises with great interest.

The practitioners also prepared a workshop table to show people how to fold lotus flowers. The table was always surrounded by people. While showing people the technique of paper folding, practitioners told them that the flowers symbolise purity and the practitioners wanted to send a distinct message with these flowers: “The World Need Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and please help us end the persecution of followers of these great principles.”

From 11 am to 4 pm, practitioners distributed several thousand leaflets

“Thank you, thank you so much!” said many visitors to the practitioners.
