Poem: Beijing

Smiles gold
by State-control
on darkest wing
and inhuman sting
talons and claws
where no rule of law
silence for trade
the shameless parade.

One-party reign
a beast untamed
behind the lies
such endless crimes
bloodstained hands
no conscience to stand
from an evil lair
how long to bear?

Terror and fear
the fall of tears
with eyes turned blind
poisoning minds
many rights denied
with much to hide
and freedom may sing
but not in Beijing!
