Ms. Jiang Yirong, a practitioner from Peicheng District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, died on December 2nd, 2006, because of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecution.
Ms. Jiang was an employee at Mianyang City Huafeng Company. She practised Falun Gong since 1997. Within a short time after getting into the practice, all her illnesses disappeared. After the CCP began the persecution in 1999, Ms. Jiang was detained and much of her family's property was confiscated several times because she was explaining the facts about Falun Dafa to others. Staff from Mianyang public security, Peicheng District police and local subdistrict office threatened her and took her to be brainwashed many times.
The security office of the Huafeng Company assigned people to monitor Ms. Jiang. Director Li Changhua and Gongqu from the district police arrested her and took her to a detention centre.
In May 2006, Ms. Jiang was arrested again and taken to a brainwashing centre. She developed liver cirrhosis symptoms after the long-term persecution and passed away on December 2nd.
