On April 28th, 2006, the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP, Friends of Falun Gong, the Epoch Times San Diego Branch and other organisations rallied at Horton Plaza, San Diego, to support the ten million people quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). Local Falun Gong practitioners also attended, and called on the American people to pay attention to the organ harvesting from live practitioners taking place in forced labour camps and prisons throughout China.

Participants displayed banners and posters, and reenacted the brutal scene of organ harvesting from living practitioners. Many kindhearted American people were enraged when they learned about the CCP's brutality, and they all asked about how they could help to stop the crimes committed by the CCP.
