On the evening of September 11th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend an elite gathering of Iranian nationals in Sweden’s capital Stockholm. At the gathering, practitioners introduced Falun Gong and performed a demonstration of the exercises.

This gathering, covering subjects of music and health, was held in the Husby centre located in a suburb of Stockholm. Falun Gong attracted great interest from the eighty participants. They collected information about Falun Gong and purchased the practice's introductory book Falun Gong and the main text Zhuan Falun printed in Iranian. The information brochures and books prepared by practitioners were completely distributed. Afterwards, the participants at the gathering also practised Falun Gong’s second exercise, “Falun Standing Stance”. Many participants sensed an extremely strong energy field. The exercise practise drew loud applause and praise from the participants.
