Poem: The Great Gall of China
By a Falun Gong practitioner
The ‘Party’s* fingers in every ‘pie’, Bloodstained smiles while Nations turn many a blind eye. To deify trade above life itself, Placing one’s rights to freedom On some lowest shelf. Upon their heartless demands We find ways to concede, All for the sake of saving face, Deception behind word and deed. How long must we toast to its glories, Remain ignorant of its murderous chapters, Speak loudest of its slanderous stories? Come end this reign of China’s great gall, Closer now to its final curtain call!*Referring to the Chinese Communist Party
