On March 12 2005, practitioners in Kansas participated in the 21st Saint Patrick's Day Grand Parade in North Kansas City. Tens of thousands of people came out to watch the parade. The practitioners' float was greeted with applause and exclamations, and practitioners who were distributing fliers along the parade route found it hard to keep up with the demand.
