The Chinese New Year (February 9, 2005) is a traditional time for all Chinese to celebrate, however, countless Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China are unable to be with their families and many have even been murdered by the Jiang Zemin regime and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). On Chinese New Year's Eve (February 8), Canberra practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese embassy to demand the CCP to immediately end the persecution of Falun Gong.
