On the 10th December 2004, World Human Rights day, practitioners in Gothenburg went into the city centre to inform Christmas shoppers and commuters about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. Many people stopped by to read the posters and look at the banners that illustrated details of the human rights crimes that have been committed on the orders of Jiang Zemin and his communist regime. They expressed concern about the situation in China and encouraged practitioners to continue their good work. Many people signed a petition calling för the atrocities in China to end.
