This photo was taken prior to the time when the persecution against Falun Gong was officially instated on the 20th of July 1999 by the former President and dictator of China Jiang Zemin. The photo was shot on the 29th of August, 1998 when Falun Dafa practitioners in Taiyuan City held a group practise session of the Falun Gong exercises.
