On the 20th of July, the 5th anniversary of the suppression of Falun Gong in China, Slovak practitioners personally visited most of the local media to tell them the truth about the situation of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. They also invited those who were interested in their appeal to join them at the Chinese Embassy in Bratislava on the same day.

Most of the media reacted positively and received information; a TV station showed up at the appeal and filmed footage of the demonstrated exercises and a spoken press release, together with a man from the press agency and a photographer from a local newspaper.
