According to a report by a journalist for Radio Free Asia, European Falun Gong practitioners, human rights groups and the Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice, participated in various activities at the Chinese Embassies and Consulates around Europe to voice their support for the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, currently taking place in a Chicago court.

The lawsuit against Jiang Zemin filed by Falun Gong practitioners began proceedings in Chicago on May the 27th. From early on Wednesday, Falun Gong practitioners in Germany and around Europe, human rights groups and the members of the Global Coalition for bringing Jiang to Justice, held various campaigns to express their support for the trial against Jiang Zemin in the Chicago Court. Mrs. Zhen Zhihong, a legal scholar from China Zhejiang University announced the details of the campaign in Germany.

Also, according to the reporter’s understanding, in addition to the German capital, Falun Gong practitioners in the north and south of Germany will, on three consecutive days, engage in sit-in demonstrations and an information campaign at the Chinese consulates in Hamburg and Munich. There are also similar activities taking place in Paris, Brussels, The Hague, Dublin and Stockholm.
